I have and will continue to recommend Nashville Cat Clinic to all the cat parents I know. I switched to NCC from another vet, and the difference is remarkable. The clinic itself is homey, clean, and very welcoming, and the staff are all lovely. They treated me and my baby like family. Our first vet visit was awesome - everyone answered all my questions/concerns, and treated my boy with love and care. I just boarded him with NCC for the first time, and I was really nervous about leaving him, but the staff went above and beyond to make me feel more comfortable. I have no doubt that they will treat him like a king! Thank you NCC for all that you do for us. Read Less

I am resubmitting my post about Dr Walthrop to make sure that his lack of knowledge is not forgotten. There are TWO posts on here where he missed cancer. There are many praises of how he treats your cat family but you have to remember so would a kind child. I guess I should say he is improving or rather his staff is because when my Baxter (once in a lifetime cat) had died, he didn’t even bother to call me. His staff said I was just angry. Maybe I was. Bax has been gone awhile now and i still feel so horrible I took him here. Get shots from him, teeth cleaning but when you really need an expert, he has no knowledge of what to do. I took him to the emergency vet and although Bax had been there less than a week before to Nashville Cat misdiagnosed again, they knew in less than an hour. He was too far gone because they had made him also diabetic through NCC misdiagnosis. Cancer kills. I get that. Nothing might have been able to be done. I get that too. I am writing because for weeks and weeks, I asked if it could be cancer. No no and no he said. I spent very close if not over $1,000 dollars to have my cat become diabetic through the medication he gave. All the tests possible except the one that mattered. I haven’t forgotten. I would have spent every dime I had for Bax. I won’t ever have a cat like that again. I love my cats I have because they too have their personality. He was just one in a million and I let him down for taking him here. My review got lost and I am bringing it back in honor of your cat and Bax. I am not angry anymore at anyone but myself. I am writing so you don’t make the same mistake. Read Less

I just moved from out of town and have been anxious about finding a new local vet to trust. After much research I decided to try here and took my fur baby to visit Dr Mark Waldrop this week. I was first impressed with the ease of making an appointment online and how you can immediately see what the availability is. The lobby area was clean, comfortably styled, and didn't have that "scary vet smell." The staff at the desk was kind and enjoyable to talk and joke with. The office cats Tristin and Waffles were so handsome and obviously loved. I was more then pleased with the gentleness and genuine care the Dr and staff showed for a very unamused kitty getting her shots for the year. Dr Waldrop was even able to put her at a little at ease in the midst of the examination when she was most stressed like some bird-chirping-cat-whispering mystic! Cavu and I will be back. Thank for the great visit and service. Read Less

We started coming here while living in Lynchburg and now are in Murfreesboro. Love this place and these folks. They are all great at what they do. Yes, like one reviewed posted, they are a little higher than other places, but worth it. Most other vets we have seen in TN, obviously prefer dogs and cater to them. In Lynchburg, cats are commonly referred to as 'target practice' or are pretty much kept as barn rodent control and get little respect as pets. So glad we found Nashville Cat Clinic. Read Less

I took my cat to Nashville Cat Clinic one week ago, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate the wonderful service I received. My cat is a Bengal, so she can be a tad aggressive (she usually has to be sedated for even routine vet evaluations). The vet tech and the vet handled her with such care and consideration. I got an appointment way quicker than I expected, the bill was less than I expected given the sedation and full work-up, and the follow up letter and calls I received to check on my cat were remarkable. Two thumbs way up - my family members in other cities are jealous of my vet!! Read Less

What a fantastic place!! I was very impressed. I made the trek from Bellevue and wouldn't hesitate to return with another one of my brood. The place is cute, homey, and welcoming. Nothing about this place screams "clinical" or "sterile" instead it has laid back feel like you're in a country-ish home. I was promptly greeted at the front desk, where there was a cute print out of the day's expected customers. The lobby area had plenty of magazines and seating, even a mini fridge of bottles of water which was a nice touch. I did come in with a cat who got "nervous" on the ride over. I apologized for that (and the smell) when checking in. When I was seated a vet tech came over to get my boy and to clean him up. When he was returned, both he and the carrier were clean which was a nice touch. The exam room was great. Again, not very clinical which I appreciated. Of course there were the much needed medical supplies, but the exam table and furniture were wood. The vet tech was great, and then came the wait. We waited a long time for the doc to come in, which i attributed to my 3:30 appointment as you know how things get backed up. My cat appreciated having a new room to explore as he's sheltered (he's a cat after all, rarely leaving the house.). The doctor and the second vet tech were fantastic. My cat was prescribed medications, which I received upon paying. I feel like being such a specialized practice you would think it's more expensive than a Value Vet or Banfield and surprisingly it isn't. It is maybe five bucks more for people who know cats, and my cat wasn't stressed further by the presence of dogs. They had several clinic cats who rightfully had the run of the place. They had cute little caps on their claws that were also for sale. They had several things got sale but nothing was pushed on me which I appreciate. It's been a week since our visit and my cat is feeling much better, meaning we are too. Read Less

I boarded my cat Missy E. with them over the holidays. She needs special attention for her health, so naturally I was worried how her stress level would be for the 5 nights she would be there. When I picked her up, she acted like she wanted to stay! They gave her a lot of attention and everyone knew her by name. There is nothing better than being able to put your trust in someone to care for your furry family members! Read Less

The Nashville Cat Clinic is such a super vet and more for cats and their "parents." Last week had to say goodbye to my 19 year old Alex kitty. The Cat Clinic was the only vet he went to in all those years, and the last 2 years or so, I have boarded him there whenever we were on vacation. Dr Waldrop and his staff made the process as easy as it could be under the circumstances. They take amazing care of their patients at all stages. Then today i got the sweetest card from them with handwritten words.of sympathy from all the staff. I highly recommend The Nashville Cat Clinic for anyone with cats!!! Thank y'all for your caring for Alex, my other 3 cats, and for me. Read Less

I love this place, I am a cat lover so I would rather take my babies to a vet that caters to cats. Dr. Tamas did a great job with my baby girl's stitches.

Read Less

Moved to Nashville recently and took our three cats here for the first time. The entire staff was wonderful! Very friendly to talk with and very loving treatment of our cats. The vet took time to thoroughly answer any questions and the entire appointment felt relaxed and not rushed. They also have a variety of online resources and provide a lot of personalized follow-ups. Our cats even received e-cards for their birthdays! It's the little extra touches that really made the experience stand out for me. Read Less
