Wonderful staff!!!!! I had to bring a friend's dog here while I was pet sitting who broke 3 teeth. The staff was able to work with me as well as communicate with the dog's owner overseas to discuss procedure and estimates. Seamless process and even called me to check on the dog 24 hours after she had the teeth removed to make sure she was OK. The surgeon was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what he does! We have 3 dogs in our family and have been to Dr.K for everything from simple check ups to major surgery. What we love best about Dr.K is her straight forward personal approach to care and not feeling like another appointment to check off. She treats each one of our dogs as family with extra love. Her staff are always on top of things, from the first phone call scheduling to care while in the office. The facility is clean, efficient and very welcoming. I wish I could give 10 stars!! I had to bring my sweet Presley in for a visit. She was not feeling well and was 17. Dr. Epstein was AMAZING!! I walked in with Presley and they took us to a private room immediately. I did not have an appointment. He spent time checking Presley out and unfortunately, had to deliver bad news. Although, he had other patients waiting on him, he did not rush and sat down in the floor with us to discuss our options ( I have tears rolling down my face as I am typing this). I know he was trying to buy us some time by sending us home with pain meds for Presley, but they did not last long and I had to take her to an emergency vet that evening. So far, that has been the worst day of my life (it was 13 days ago today). Dr. Epstein and his staff are exceptional. Their kindness was genuine and much appreciated. I have had to put down dogs in the past and have never received such warmth as I did from this place. I got the most touching sympathy card hand written from Dr. Epstein. I absolutely love all 3 of the vets and the entire staff. They are really good with my kitty, take their time, and are thorough in their examinations. They truly care for the animals. Also whenever my kitty has been sick, they follow up with me and it is usually the doctor (which makes it so much more personal). I am very particular about veterinarians and who I take my kitty to. As long as we are in Nashville we will be bringing our kitty to Parker’s Paws! I highly recommend them to anybody who is looking for a vet or not happy with their current vet. Oh how I love this place. My new furry forever friend and I come on regular visits and when I was concerned she was not feeling well. The entire staff is warm and greeting and could sense my concern. They were very helpful and called the next day to check on us. So thrilled to have them close and opening up appointments when needed. On our first visit I was asked about what my little friend ate and her rituals. I was told that making my own doggy food was not getting her enough bone meal. They gave me some hard copies of recipes and instructions on what to buy and articles on what was not complete in her diet. Thank goodness they asked! They stay busy for a reason. There are Saturday appointments available. The rooms are all clean and there is parking next to the building and across the street.Also their prices seem to be lower than my last vet in Belle Meade who used to be significantly less. What a wonderful staff!! My cat has had an ear infection for the past three days, and I recently moved to Nashville (so we didn't have a set veterinarian). I looked up a few places, and Parker's Paws was the best rated! I gave them a call in hopes they can squeeze me, or make an appointment.. and they fit me in that same day! I was able to do all the new patient paperwork over the phone, and they even got a hold of my cats records from the previous veterinarian without having to worry about paperwork, and such! Dr. Klapheke was super nice, and caring. She made time to look at my cats ear infection between her two morning surgeries, and no wait time at all! The best thing is that I didn't feel rushed because she had prior commitments which was incredibly nice! They treated my cat immediately, and gave me thorough after-treatment information. What was even great was the cost. The appointment was inexpensive, compared to most places, as well as the solution/treatment. So grateful to the entire staff for making my first experience at Parker's Paws so wonderful. They took on a very reluctant patient in Smokey the kitten after he was humanely trapped. The staff didn't know me at all but treated me and Smokey like old friends. Five days after bringing him in for a full vetting he was purring and snuggling one of the Jamie's (there are 3!) like they were best pals.
