I’ve done business with Dr. Fly for over 25 years. Recently we had to have our dog euthanized. I can’t think of any better way to describe our experience of dealing with this than to say it could not have been any better. Everyone from the office receptionist to Dr. Brad and his assistants were very compassionate, understanding, and kind. Our dog was treated with the best care possible and we felt as if these folks genuinely cared about what she was going through, as well as us. They responded quickly to us when I brought her in without an appointment one day. They have always been prompt and caring, even sending us a sympathy card expressing their sharing of our sadness. I couldn’t ask for better care. I recommend them without reservation. Read Less

My 19 year old cat was crying all the time, vomiting, and started peeing out of the litter box for the first time ever!!! Nolensville Vet Hospital took her in ASAP on a Saturday morning. They were friendly, informative, quick and personable. They sent me home with antibiotics, a special kidney diet food (my old kitty has kidney failure) and specific instructions. Dr. Randolph called the next morning to check on her and update me with what to watch for (vomitting, not eating, diarrhea, black stool). By end of week, my kitty had all of that and was yelping in the litter box. Nolensville vet hospital took her back in immediately. They called me every day to update me. Even on Sunday. And even offered a home phone if I had more questions on Sunday (of course I’m not an irritating, unreasonable pushy person with great expectations of miracles so, they were more than accommodating). My kitty is coming home today. While I don’t expect her to live forever... I know that she was well cared for by a staff which is more than concerned about her well being. It’s obvious that they love animals there. The ladies at the front desk are slammed with work and are still kind and offer a smile. And they were pleasant when I called too. Again, I was understanding that they are extremely busy there with everyone’s animals (not just mine) so, they may have been kind to me since I was kind to them but... that’s the way it should be. A special thank you to Aubrey for caring so much about my little Izzy. Thank you all!! Read Less

The doctors are wonderful (Dr. Fly and Dr. Randolph), but the management of the clinic needs some major help, with organization and customer service. We paid almost $100 for a urine culture for our pup, and after I (yes, me) called a week later regarding the results, eager to get him started on his second round of antibiotics determined by the culture's sensitivity, I was informed the culture had been lost. No big deal, I work in healthcare, so I was understanding. I then go to pick up his special prescribed food the next week that he was on specifically for his urine, and I am told "oops we gave him the wrong food last time." I had been feeding him the food for over a month, he had multiple issues with it and we had tried numerous ways to get it in him because the Vet had told us how important it was for him. The worst part is that when I was told about the confusion with the food and I begin to question it, the young girl in the office (Vanessa) (who wasn't even the one helping me) proceeded to roll her eyes at me and storm out of the office and say "Just give her the other bag and be done with it." Needless to say, I'm still concerned about the expensive, incorrect food I've been feeding my dog for over a month and have questions. When she returned, she slammed down the 25 lb bag at my feet without a word. We will not be returning here, mainly because of the poor customer service and blatant rudeness from that individual. If she treats the humans that way, I would hate to know how the animals are being treated. Read Less

I don't see how anyone can say anything other than postive about Nolensville Vet Clinic. I have used other vets before and I could easily without a doubt say that this place is way more affordable than any other vet I have taken my dogs to.  I don't believe they are "money grubbers" as per the other review,  I find them to be the opposite. I believe they truly care and love pets. I have nothing but positive things to say about the Drs. They are very kind to and caring towards my dog. They don't ever try to sell or push anything on me. They always try the conservative route first before any expensive surgery. I trust them with my dog and my dog is like my child. I would recommend them to anyone, in fact I tell everyone I know how great they are. Read Less

Top rate surgeon, great experience all around working with Dr. Fly and his staff. This is a much more personable experience unlike the machine shop type we visited with on an initial surgical consultation with the place on Sidco Drive. We brought Bella in for a knee surgery that was going to be more expensive elsewhere and she received great care with great follow-ups. To the reviewer that said "It is horrible they are a veterinarian but they only do dogs and cats" - wouldn't you prefer a physician that specialized in bird remedies rather than a jack of all trades? Dr. Fly knows dogs and is someone you can trust with yours, take your bird to someone that knows birds - end of rant. Read Less

After $1000 paid for 1 dog that was misdiagnosed and another that had to have surgery; I have completely lost all faith in any of them. 1 was found (by another reputable vet) that she had diabetes. WARNING--DO NOT USE THIS VET!! We recently got a new puppy...looking for a local vet, we chose Nolensville Vet. Our 1st visit the doctor came in the room..didn't even introduce himself. Bad sign #1, from the very beginning. He was in the room for 2 minutes, QUICKLY looked at our puppy and said, "oh he's in great shape," and then left the room. We thought he was coming back. He never did. He left his "tech" finish up with us. We were not even explained what was done to our puppy. Extremely unprofessional and rude! Well, for our puppies 2nd visit for more shots, I decided we would forget about the first experience and give Nolensville Vet a 2nd chance. The 2nd visit was the icing on the cake! Not only did they perform services that we DID NOT ask them too (which were very costly, by the way)...our bill was substantially more than what they originally promised us. They also tried to sell us EVERYTHING...a ton of extras which we did not need. When I mentioned to the front desk girl (VANESSA) that this was the 2nd time we had a bad experience, she looked at me and said, "you can take your dog and your business to another vet then!" WOW. I should have went by my first initial feeling of this place and had never went back "to give them a 2nd chance." Before leaving, I mentioned to Vanessa that "it's highly inappropriate to tell a paying customer to take their business elsewhere." They obviously do not need the business and we will gladly be going to another local vet in the future for all of our pets needs. PLEASE HEED MY WARNING AND DO NOT GIVE THIS CLINIC YOUR BUSINESS, YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Read Less

We were upset that this happened but something’s in life just happen and are out of our control. What disturbed us the most was that Nolensville Veterinary Clinic charged us an additional $160.00 on top of the cremation bill charge by the company that performed this service? I found this out only after I called the creation company and asked them what they charge for a dog around 100lbs. I was quoted $200.00 for the creation which included both the pick up and delivery. I was charged $360.00 for this service even though they didn’t do a thing but make a phone call. Dr. Brad and Barry Fly are money grubbers. We took our cat to a different doctor and he gave her a steroid shot which is what Dr. Brad refused to do for our cat because it "wouldn't help". It's been over a year since we started taking our cat to the vet and after medications, surgery, and over $1000 later the Doctors Fly couldn't figure it out.

Read Less

Dr. Fly and his team are the best in town! I will admit that they are expensive, but their services are worth it. After vet visits with two other vets, I was offered zero solutions and my dog was getting worse and worse. I called Nolensville and they immediately made room in their schedule to see her. They saved her life and were so informative about her diagnosis and the tests they were running. I will never take my animals to another vet! Read Less

I used this Vet 10 years ago. At that time, they were great. BUT, now.. NO! After $1000 paid for 1 dog that was misdiagnosed and another that had to have surgery; I have completely lost all faith in any of them. 1 was found (by another reputable vet) that she had diabetes. I'm still waiting for the others fur to grow back 7 months after surgery because they shaved her fur against the growth! And, yes, the girl at the front desk has an attitude! DO NOT TAKE YOUR FURBABY HERE!!! Read Less

Read Less

Thanks for your clarification on how you work with customers at your clinic. I do appreciate that. As just a customer...we should not have to figure out how your clinic works.I will always go with my dogs at any appointment regardless of service-I just need to know and sometimes something comes up.  I only choose Mill Creek Vet Hospital because the WAY the work with their customers and how they take care of our pets.Merely, its just simply not a match for us. That is all. i am sure your clinic does excellent work,Thanks again.I had been a customer for about eight months....and I never met the vets. That's not cool.Seems odd to take my dog to a room (without me) and say they have done something....yet I do not know what.   I do not like that kind of separation that goes on there.  Decided to go with Mill Creek Veterinary Hospital instead. After bringing our two dogs to this clinic for over 4 years now and spending thousands for early detection which includes a full checkup and blood work done annually we recently lost one of our dogs to a heart issue. Last, after trusted them with our animals for over 4 years now we are amazed that someone could take advantage of someone loss. What ever happened to integrity? Read Less

We took our cat to another vet one time and he told us exactly what it is, proving that the doctors Fly were just out for our money while our cat was dying. If your pet has a serious issue do my take them to Nolensville Veterinary Hospital because they'll only make it worse. And if you decide to go, be prepared to drop at least $300 every visit. I can't believe there are no reviews for the Drs. Fly. What apropos names as they are both quite "fly"!  They are THE vets to see.  I have two bulldogs and Dr. Barry Fly treats them right.  What a relief to see a vet that actually understands bulldogs and cares about their quirks and allergies, etc. (I mean, honestly any smart vet would do well to understand bulldogs and prolong their lives...cha-ching.  Hahha!)  We drive 45 minutes to see Dr. Barry because I won't trust anyone else with my babies.
