The Best in town . Shout out to Angie for an emergency visit scheduled less than an hour when Shadow decided during a thunderstorm traumatized and decided to chew thru a mesh wire fence and hurt his gums and teeth
She spent alot if time with Shadow and I
And worked out a plan according to my budget and this senior little chow is a Happy Camper recovering well. He is a bit shy and she and Emily (tech) were great with him.
All my trips to vet with Redd and Shadow are great with Dr Paul and Dr Kennedy. They really care and are people friendly too

Dr. S is caring and compassionate and seems very knowledgeable. Was charged $3 extra for nail clipping because my dog "pulled his foot away" from the vet tech. Prices are a little higher than average....
Dr. S is caring and compassionate and seems very knowledgeable. Was charged $3 extra for nail clipping because my dog "pulled his foot away" from the vet tech. Prices are a little higher than average. They also see some small exotic pets on certain days.

This is one of the worst animal clinic I have seen!! I was so disappointed with the clinic and staff. Very unprofessional!!! This place was highly recommended to me from friends and family that have taken their animals for years for boarding. Since we have relocated to Tennessee and needed to go out of state for two weeks we THOUGHT we were leaving our dog in safe and secure hands. Upon arriving there we were not greeted very well. Very cold and unfriendly. Did not get a good feeling. Unfortunately, we could not make other arrangements and I thought maybe it was me leaving my dog. BUT, while out of town called to check on her and got NO encouragement that she was doing well and happy. You see my dog part of my family and means the world to me. After getting her home we noticed her limping and she ate her food like she hadn't eaten for days. I do understand animals do act different when we are away from them but again she has been different. Again I can not express enough that I am so, so disappointed and dissatisfied with my whole experience there. I will never recommend that clinic and staff to anyone in the future. I expected more and my dog deserved more!!!!!! So please if you care about your pets please search elsewhere for their care.

I have brought my 2 dogs and cat in on separate occasions, the doctors were so good with my babies!!! The prices are pretty reasonable and they take walk ins on Saturday mornings.

We have been using the McArthur animal hospital since the 1990's. Dr. Paul Szluha worked with Dr. McArthur and purchased the practice when Dr. McArthur passed away. Dr. Paul and his staff are compassionate and caring animal advocates. When needed, Dr. Paul doesn't hesitate to refer an animal to a facility that offers highly advanced care options that aren't available at his and many other veterinary offices. We truly appreciate the compassionate common sense approach to caring for our beloved animals.
