My husband and I are so happy to have found this animal hospital. We have two rabbits and were having trouble finding anyone in our area who would spay rabbits. We found this vet from the website House Rabbit Society. From the moment we walked into the vet, Kim greeted us and our bunnies. Because they are my babies, I was a nervous wreck about the procedure. She reassured me that everything would be fine and even called us after the procedure to give us updates about the girls. So thoughtful. They even trimmed their nails without charging anything for it. This is the best place to go for bunny care and at a reasonable price too. I would definitely recommend this vet to others. So I thought I would do a review because I have looked for years to find a vet who actually CARES. I have found that vets are all about one thing- the money. I can honestly say that Emory Hospital seems to care enough to take the time and interest that it takes with my dog. I have been taking all of my pets to Dr. Skelly for the past 15 years. He is an extremely kind and gentle man. When we had to put down our dog, he was compassionate and helped us with our closure. I recently had a dog who needed surgery, and although he could not perform it at his location, he recommended a great place. It is because he told us the truth that my dog now walks today. We are new to Emory Animal Hospital and we loved the care our dog Lucy received! Dr. Skelley and his staff were very caring and professional and spent a lot of time explaining things to us... Lucy had to have surgery on her bladder and it has been a few days now and Lucy has been perfect from the moment we brought her home! Until recently, our dogs had been patients there for years. Once, when Dr. Skellys wife worked there, she volunteered to stay late to see us, because our dog was sick. Now, she is no longer there, and Dr. Skelly shows much less patient interest and concern.Kim seems to make it her personal mission to ensure we can never get in at a time convenient for us. I swear, if we said we could come in any day next year, except Nov 19th, Kim would have no problem saying, with a straight face, "Mmm, I cant get you in any day EXCEPT Nov 19th." She takes customer disservice to a whole nother level, and puts the entire practice (which is mediocre, at best) in a much worse light than it would be without her unsmiling face, and unhelpful attitude.Add to all this, that they are one of the highest, if not THE highest clinics around, and you can see why we've found a more customer friendly, patient assisting, affordable, agreeable, and all around better clinic. It is very different when you know somebody that works at a business, and you get to see things from 'behind the scenes'. I tried to contact the doctor and owner to resolve issues before hand but he never responded till this day. While my wife worked there who is now considered as a ""disgruntled former employee"" by the doctor and owner of the hospital. My wife was verbally harassed by her coworkers including the 'practice' manager there and then fired. I don't know how somebody could be happy about being fired or harassed, but I'm not a doctor... Everything that the clients see is fake; I have seen Chris go toward the back of the building a say that he wanted to bash the brains in on some of the client?s dogs. I have heard the staff poke fun of client?s lack of knowledge including dr skelly. Its very disappointing to me that things escaladed they way they did, and its more disturbing that dr skelly didn?t do anything about it. Read Less

So far I have been very pleased with this hospital. Have not had to have any surgery or dental cleaning, etc. yet. Dr. Andrew Skelley and his assistants, Cris & Bridgette, are all very kind & attentive to my dogs. They spend time discussing your animal's health issues and consider your wishes. I am impressed with Bridgette's skill at drawing blood (have seen so-so to awful from other clinics). Receptionist staff are also very helpful & friendly. Have received very good care for what I have needed so far. Doctor is more on conservative side - meaning not TOO aggressive. Only downside, one of highest priced clinics I have ever been to; however, if service continues to be this good, will tolerate the prices. Higher OR lower prices does not necessarily equate to good care. Read Less
