The level of care is simply top notch. Dr Rigsby took excellent care of my Lola when she was struggling with chronic pain issues. Ultimately, there was nothing we could do for her but I do feel that Dr Rigsby and staff explored every option and we gave her the best last few months on earth possible. They sent me a lovely card after Lola's passing and it wasn't just the generic "sorry for your loss". Each person who knew her contributed a personal message and it was very personalized and touching. Dr Mueller took on a difficult tumor removal surgery for a family members dog and did an unbelievably great job. I'm now the proud mom of a new pup and of course he will be going here for all of his medical needs for life. I've had pets my whole life and so have experienced a variety of veterinarians. I will not take our pets anywhere else as long as we live in or near Spring Hill. They do a great job and truly care about your pets. They also do not try to brake your bank like some other places. When we had to put our old hound to sleep the level of compassion that everyone showed really made an impression on my wife and I. Definitely a great place to take your fur babies for care. I've been taking my lab there since just after they opened. Can't say enough about how good the staff and doctors are. We usually see doctor Z or doctor Mueller. I've never had a problem with them explaining what's going on or what my options are. He's had to have several surgeries and all came out well. If they say they will call they do. We moved a little further away from Spring Hill recently and we tried another vet out of convenience. I took my sick Dobermann in on a Saturday as a new patient. The front desk ladies were very welcoming, and I loved how they greeted their existing patients by coming around the counter and giving out ear rubs. Dr. Mueller was great! I just want to let people know that Dr Grace is a great Vet. And a super sweet and kind hearted lady. June 3rd 2017 I had to put my dog Maggie to sleep, the next day my mom passed away and 6 months later on Dec 29th I had to put my dog Melvin to sleep. Dr Grace knew the pain that I have been dealing with, she was so kind to me . She is a wonderful person and I will never Forget how she helped me through this . Hands down the BEST vet care in our town!!! (Also much more affordable than another place in town that we tried before finding HP!) I can't say enough good things about the staff here - they truly care about each of the animals in their care. I mostly love that there is zero pressure when a serious issue arises; they just lay the facts out, answer questions and leave the decision making up the to the pet owners. When our dog passed away earlier this year, that's where we really saw just how big of a HEART the staff there has! They are truly amazing! We have taken our dogs an rescued Collies for Tri-State Collie Rescue there for years. Very knowledgeable about Collies. Dr Zavaro has performed€ surgery on a couple of our dogs and in one case saved his life. Best Vet practice we've ever known. We're lucky to have discovered them. Read Less

My hamster was not doing well and they got me in same day to see the dr. Unfortunately my poor hammy was not to be cured. Everyone was very nice and doc gave her some meds to keep her comfortable. She passed over the next week peacefully thanks to their care. I know hamsters have short lives but I really appreciate the compassion from everyone here. Healthy Petz always takes great care of our furry family! If we have a new problem, they always have gotten us in same day (I usually call first thing in the morning). When my cat developed Diabetes they were so considerate and I never felt like they took advantage of what could have been a very costly situation. Healthy pets has been wonderful to us and our babies. Everyone there was so kind and compassionate when we had to say goodbye to our sweet Ebony a couple of weeks ago. They treat our Lady Anne like a little queen when she's there. We always have her boarded there when she can't go with us, and she loves them. She's a senior dog who acts and plays like a pup. Love this place! Went in with our four pups (which is never easy) for all of their annuals last week and the staff was not overwhelmed with all four like some places are and both the vet tech and vet were super friendly and my husband even spoke up about how much he liked them. They were very soft spoken when administering the vaccines and each of our dogs received a treat and praise after the appointment from the vet. We received a quote within minutes for a dental cleaning for one of ours and called to scheduled today and able to accommodate us very quickly and even neuter our youngest puppy the same day so we can drop them off together. So glad we found a great vet within 5 minutes of our house. Highly recommended, will see how both of our dogs recover after their procedures! Read Less

I have always had several pets, and where I bring my animals for care is of the utmost importance to me. Dr. Zavaro, his sister, Anastasia, father, and the rest of the staff at Healthy Petz have been incredible to my pets, my husband and myself. My cat, Miss Daisy, was put to sleep a while ago, and they were so compassionate and caring. I lost another cat, Taylor, to old age recently and, again, they made this transition much less painful than it might have been. They have even treated my netherland dwarf rabbit, Arthur!
