We have taken both dogs here. Dr Worthington is the best. My Chihuahua who would snap at all men, never snapped at Dr W. The other dog has constant ear infections and he prescribed Apoquel which has helped tremendously. This clinic isn't the closest to our home but we will never take her anywhere else! Read Less

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! I took my cat here for a urinary tract infection and they kept him 2 days longer then needed & over charged me tremendously . This is my first cat so I'm not familiar with their illnesses or anything for that matter. So when I take my animal to the vet I except the vet to tell me exactly what needs to be done & not take advantage of me. I told them when I first arrived to call me before they added on any chargers or did any procedures to my cat. They only called me ONCE out the 3 days he was there. During the call she told me that they would be keeping him over night ($50 overnight fee) and the shots which she said would only be $100. I called the next day (day2) and asked if I could pick him up. They told me he needed to stay another (which I found out from another vet that no animal stays longer than 1 night for a UTI) she never mentioned during this call that they would be doing another round of shots. So not only did they lie to me about how sick my cat was but when I went to pay my ticket was over $1000!!  When I confronted the receptionist about my price she blew me off like it wasn't their problem. The staff here are great. It's a very busy vet, but they manage the office, billing and appointments quite well. This vet office is the best! Always so helpful and friendly ! We left our fur baby Luna there for an entire week while we went on vacation and it was great to know that she was in good hands. the receptionists are welcoming and helpful, efficient and quick. every vet tech here has been excellent with both people/animal skills and knowledge. the vets here have been amazingly helpful and attentive for my two pups this year. every issue they've had has been taken care of promptly and efficiently. i've never left with questions unanswered. these guys are the epitome of animal friendly. i haven't had to spend more than was necessary. overall, it seems like i've been going here for years, but it's only been a short while. i will be moving soon, but i wish i could take Alma Animal Hospital with me. I have been taking my pets here for over 11 years.  The staff is very pleasant, knowledgeable and obviously lovers of pets.  They have helped birth puppies from one of my English Bulldogs, corrected with surgery a problematic tail of another English Bulldog, and taken care of routine shots, examinations and all pet related issues.  I highly recommend them and even drive 30 minutes because I trust and know my fur babies will be well taken care of. We brought one of our dogs here for a minor procedure. The service was wonderful and we were kept informed through the whole visit. Every employee who handled our dog did so with expert care. My pets have been patients for over 10 years. Dr. Ali and Dr. Worthington, Courtney & Co. are a great team. I've been offered "the easy payment plan" on several occasions when something major went wrong. I haven't experienced anything but compassion, encouragement and great advice from this practice. Expensive? You get what you pay for. The clinic is ultra clean, the groomer is great and I can't think of one thing that has been a negative for me, except that they aren't God and can't keep all my guys alive forever. I am a long time client. I currently have one senior schnauzer and cat and am waiting for the arrival of a new puppy in three weeks.  Dr. Ali and everyone at Alma Animal Hospital has been wonderful.  I can call and ask questions and get answers that frequently don't include a trip to the vet.  There is also a groomer on staff, which is a huge help for my 13 year old schnauzer.  It's great to have a vet right there just in case there is something that goes awry.Oh and Courtney, the office manager runs the place and is SUPER nice.  Actually, everyone who works at this practice is SUPER nice.I was recommended to this practice by a friend who had also been a long-time client.  From puppies to old timers and beyond.  I love these guys. Dr Worthington tries to overcharge for services that are unnecessary, but if you question the front desk they'll get it taken off. He performed a surgery on our dog that didn't solve the problem and had to be redone by another doctor. He's very loud and has no sense or understanding of animal behavior. Horrible bedside manner toward the owner and even more importantly the pet. He shouldn't be around animals at all, and to top it all off he's very arrogant. Stay away!! Read Less

Had been going there for a few years and every now and then I would sense they were trying to sell me things to bump the dollar amounts up but as long as I watched the bills they were very nice. My dog needed anti-biotic's and he insisted me bring the dog in even tho I had family in from out of town and couldn't get there with her. I feel it is for money and I am headed up there to pull both dogs of mine records and since I have to drive the dog to another vet maybe after three years I will finally find out what the issue is... I absolutely loved Alma Animal Hospital! I got a new pup for Mother's Day and wanted to have her checked and get any shots she needed. From the moment we walked in I knew it was going to be a good visit! The staff is so warm and friendly and we hardly had to wait at all on a Saturday morning for being a walk-in! It was actually fun waiting in the front lobby area and talking to other dog owners and meeting their pets! All the techs were super friendly and totally sweet to our new puppy Zoe! They all seemed like they had a wealth of information and were so knowledgeable. Our vet was Dr. Jacob Worthington and he was so kind and caring and really took the time to find out if you had any concerns or questions, as well as spent a lot of time checking over our new pup. They found 2 types of worms in our puppy so I was glad I took her. The prices for the shots and other treatments were reasonable and well deserved. Our special Zoe had a good experience there and I will keep bringing her back! Plus they have better hours than most, open later each evening and longer on Saturdays than other clinics. I would say good in how friendly they are. Bad on the doc tries to hit you up with everything in the book that could be wrong and charge. You get the feeling he is over doing it and for the wrong reasons. I've been a pet owner for 20+ years and I put this in line of price gouging and unnecessarily unfair care without full explanation. Also needed all the shots and dirty teeth. his techs, washed out the ears and cleaned the teeth gently.my puppy is a drama queen..she did not like to be touched ,but they were gentle.. I came to Animal Hospital because my puppy was sick and my vet was booked for the day. Dr. Ali seemed very friendly and capable. However, the front desk staff was extremely rude. I almost left before my appointment because they made me feel bad for being there. I felt very ""in the way"". The vet tech I saw was horrible. He snatched my 6 month old pomeranian puppy and scolded it for being squirmy. He's a puppy! He took him in the other room to take his temperature where I heard him scream in pain-- not whine, not protest, scream. He came back in and said, ""I don't know why he's acting like I'm murdering him!"" He was mad at the dog! He's just a dog! I heard 2 cats screaming back there as well being scolded by the same vet tech. When Dr. Ali came back in to do to do a fecal sample, the same vet tech snatched my pup away from me and held him down-- by the throat as he just cried. Instead of being soothing- he scolded him for whining. I turned down further treatment of my puppy and tests just to get him out of there. Read Less

My dog up was very sick and pitiful and Dr. Rohani was recommended. They fit me in during a busy Friday. The staff was exceptionally caring and helpful. After taking a pic of my pup for the files, they even gave me a little refrigerator calendar with his pic on it. Dr. Rohani was very gentle and my dog was very comfortable around him. After determining that there was most likely just a bacterial issue he gave me the meds to keep my little buddy comfortable and heal quickly. The Dr. called me himself to check up on him on Sunday. I went to this clinic with two dogs, they are medium sized and and with both of them on a leash they are a handful. Not once was I asked if I needed help. The staff acts like they are doing you a favor to talk to you. Dr. Morrow as alway is delightful. I wish he would move to another clinic where the staff loves pets and cares about the patients.
