We want to thank all the wonderful, caring employees that take care of and make our dogs Alfie & Comet so happy and comfortable during their stays at Creature Comfort. They also give me such great peace of mind since having to leave pets behind whether it be for 1 night or a week is just as stressful for owners as it is for pets!!! We have been coming to Creature Comfort for over 7 years and they have always had wonderful staff and vets. One of my favorite things that they offer is always have an "on call" vet after hours if anything ever comes up. My dogs have been treated by Dr. McGrath & Dr. Tran. Since adopting our dog 6 months ago the staff and Dr. Rogers have been extremely helpful. They're always glad to see her and give her a lot of love. Scheduling appointments has been very easy and they seem to go out of their way to make sure I understand everything and that all my questions are answered. My family and I have been taking our pets here since I was a little girl. We all live 30+ minutes away and gladly drive to Creature Comfort! Highly recommend to board your animals elsewhere. Place has great reviews but both my dogs came back injured. Financial Dishonesty: I called to plan a trip and settled a price and sent the dogs vaccination record. I never received a call I talked to them on the phone and NOT ONCE did they state hey for your dogs to stay here we require two ADDITIONAL vaccinations that are NOT required plus if they have anything left open they will require you to pay for it to happen right then even if it is not late. Poor Animal Care: Zeus our male husky was the worse. We received a call on Thanksgiving that he had a "nick" on his leg which was only 2-3cm long. Stated there was no worries were required to follow up were gonna clean it and make sure there is no infection. They downplayed it and made it seem minuscule. Zeus: Zeus had stitches that were poorly done and were popped out in the lobby. He had to go back to get 3 staples. When I asked to see where he was kept or to go back with Zeus to watch the care I was told I could not. the "nick" is over an inch gash in his leg/ Both paws are scuffed up and the injuries look as if someone slammed is paws with a kennel door. Which if he was pushing to get out of the kennel and someone forcibly pushed him back in he could of caught the kennel latch or corner which could be the real cause of his wound. Storm: no apparent wounds on her until we get home and looking her over more thoroughly and notice her lip is swollen. Her fang was pushed through her lip so I don't know if someone was holding her snout shut forcibly and her lip was caught or more likely she was stuck in the face for only that side of her snout is swollen. Fallout: It took as a week and a half to get in touch with a manager. After calling 3-5 times we were told there is only one note on the file. Overall they were shady and dismissive of our problem which is not ok by any means. I will update review to see fallout but I would think twice about boarding your animals here especially at the facility 2150 Interstate 20 W. Arlington, Tx Read Less

Creature Comforts was recommended to me by family. I've brought my two puppies there and I was 100% happy with the care they were given. All the staff is caring and take their time to talk to you. I've brought my children with me as well and the staff is very patient with them as well. With all my questions during visits and over the phone, the staff never rushed me or made me feel silly with all my questions. The whole staff at Creature Comfort Animal Clinic in Arlington deserves a solid 5 stars -- and if I could, I would give them a resounding TEN! They are all so very thoughtful and compassionate but also professional. We have been going to them since we got our little Beagle mix, Ben, when he was one year old. He's now 10, and Dr. McGrath has been his vet from the start. However, if she is out, the other vets are just as capable and caring. We never hesitate to see one of the other vets if Dr. McGrath is not available. Ben is now having some kidney issues, but we have no doubt that Dr. McGrath will give him the best care possible. The entire staff is absolutely wonderful. I walk in and they greet me by name and also greet all of our dogs by name. Dr. Fletcher and Dr. McGrath are the most caring people. One of my dogs is ill and is in for frequent visits, both always go above and beyond to help. Every time I've had a question, they both have always taken the time and called me. This is not my usual vet- but my back up for issues my vet doesn't handle.My first encounter was with Dr. Fletcher. My oldest dog (only child at the time) had a growth on his gums. He gets really cranky when you start prodding at him, but Dr Fletcher was a pro and gave him lots of love and treats. They ended up keeping him overnight since he was really sleepy so they could monitor him closely. He had a recurrence a few years later, and naturally I called Dr. Fletcher first without bothering my primary vet. She even remembered him, even though I hadn't been back since the first visit. She is highly recommended! Next experience is ongoing with my baby- he has been having issues with his knee- and Dr McGrath has orthopedic experience so we came to visit her this time. Good note- anything pre operative gets credited toward surgery. This was a selling point when I was calling around for consult costs back in May. I was disappointed I've had to be in twice for xrays because they couldn't sedate him the first time- so just make sure you know all your options and ask the vet what they prefer/recommend before commiting.Don't know if he needs surgery yet, but will update the review after he is squared away.
