I've been bringing my feline ladies here to see Dr. Ducote since moving to the area four years ago, and have been thoroughly impressed by the care, attention, and generosity we've received here at Green Oaks.
The vet techs are kind and attentive and let the gals crawl all over the counters and into cabinets where they'll feel safe. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and all the exam rooms are enclosed and have feline hormone plug-ins running so they'll feel more at home. And, last year when we thought my beloved tail-less tortie had developed lymphoma, the Dr. was incredibly compassionate, informative, and supportive. I've never felt the slightest bit of hesitancy about leaving my gals here for boarding, exams, or procedures - I know they're in good hands. They're great with the details, too - whether it's mailing me check-up reminder cards when one of them is due for a visit or calling me a couple of days after an appointment to make sure everything went well, these folks make it clear they care about both the pets and the owners.
My Ariel has recurring inflammation and respiratory issues (but no lymphoma!), so having a kind, knowledgeable, responsive vet is critical, and it has been an incalculable blessing to have Dr. Ducote and the rest of the team helping us through all of the various pills, treatments, and tests.
Many practices feel much more geared towards dogs, since dog owners bring their critters in more often, and tend to spend more when they do come in, but these folks have gone to a great deal of trouble to make their practice friendly to all sizes and species of fur children. Good on them. They're not the cheapest, but it's absolutely worth paying the extra for the exceptional care you'll receive here. Read Less
