Dr. Naylor has been the vet for all three of my dogs for their whole lives. He is great with them and they trust him. I like how they let the owners stay with the pet when they examine them and they don’t remove them from the exam room. My dogs stay calm and happy. Dr. Naylor is very thorough and takes time to explain everything. Dr. Pratt is wonderful too. I just love his staff, they are super friendly and helpful. I have been going to Brushy Creek Vet since year 2000. We have had several pets visit for check ups and I can call any time I have a concern about their unusual behavior or if they got hurt. I enjoy Dr. Stephanie Pratt, she has been awesome and patient with me in explaining what is going on with my pets. I currently went in for my families dog, Jewel and cat, Lyrical. Jewel, since she was a puppy does not like to be picked up and unfortunately when I was in away and someone else took her for a check up, she snapped at one of the staff members. When I returned my family informed me, I was a little shocked but I understand Jewel's way of communication was a snap, not a bite. The next time I went in, they put a muzzle on her. I did not like that, because I know my dog wouldn't bite someone, I mean she is 15 years old....she hasn't bitten anyone. Anyways, after talking with Brenda and Marjorie I was able to start seeing Dr. Pratt and that made things new and smooth with Jewel. When I took Lyrical in, she loves to talk and she did so well with all the instruments to check her out and receiving shots! What a great girl! I have visites other Veterinarians and still come back to Brushy Creek. I also remember when Jessie was training up front, she has done a fantastic job in learning the ropes given by Brenda, the staff manager. I enjoy the online vet clinic to order Jewel and Lyrical's tick and flee meds and if there is something else I need I request it and the Dr's will let me know if the pet needs to come in for blood work...this is to make sure the meds would damage anything. It is a safe and easy way to communicate and order. AND it comes pretty quickly in my multiple order experiences! Read Less

The staff was very kind. My sphynx was calm throughout the entire visit and liked the Dr. as well. I was a bit nervous because I had heard some vets and staff can be critical or judgemental of exotics but they welcomed me and Bastet very warmly. They also showed interest in her future health and exams which made me want to keep him as my Vet Dr. This is a good place and they didn't try to put any unnecessary added tests or costs to my visit either. They were also considerate and respectful of the fact that Bastet is not so much my pet but my child/companion. Read Less

As a first time puppy owner who cried because my puppy was whining in her crate , and who'd never taken a puppy to the vet as an adult, brushy creek vet clinic came as a godsend. My appointment was fixed up really fast, and since it's a small establishment, they're the warm kind of folk you're looking for; especially when you have a new pet , a sick pet, or a pet. Dr Pratt was absolutely candid about the heart worm meds and didn't try to sell the most expensive option. Lab work was done within a half hour, and they treated my puppy like she was their own. They're also a boarding facility which means you're going to hear some doggies whining for their owners and freedom. Since they're a family practice they don't really accept insurance, but will provide you with invoices that you can then get reimbursed with the pet insurance company. Not sure why I haven't reviewed BCVC prior to now. We've been going here for almost 10 years with our various cats and our two dogs. Front office staff is great and friendly, vet techs are awesome and professional, and Dr Naylor is always ready to answer whatever questions we have about our pets and help us decide what to do and when. True, they are not the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for, in my opinion. We now live way out in Lakeway, but I still drive to Round Rock to see Dr Naylor. This is the best veterinary clinic I have been to, the people care about animals and make their prices so you can afford to go and get your part of the family (my pets) checked without having to spend the prices that all the other places do. I honestly cannot afford the other vets. We get all our animals from the shelter, they only go out if they want to and to go "Potty", we do not leave them in the backyard. I love my animals just as I love a member of my family and when I cannot afford to get them treatment it upsets me so bad!!! This Dr. is nice until you have an emergency, my pom got real sick called them on Monday said they could not see him until thursday...again advise throwing up not moving, Brenda still said no openings until Thrursday....tookmy dog to Emergency clinic on 183 that after noon...he died on Wednesday. I called Dr. Naylor he started making up all kinds of excuses, like thats what happens to these little guys?????? very very ignorant!!!!!!!!!!! Have 2 cats will never go back to him......
