Staff has always gotten us in on short notice. They are very reasonably priced and very receptive to our needs. During the difficult decision to have to put a pet to sleep, they were compassionate and even called us later that night to let us know Shadow passed peacefully. We highly recommend Cibolo Creek Veterinary Hospital. It is like taking your pets to your most trusted family & friends. Every one is wonderful from front desk to Drs. Dr. Lang, Dr. Klein and Dr. Hinkle are all exceptional veterinarians. They all work together as needed too. We use CCVH for all services including grooming and boarding. They were able to get my rescue grand dog in for boarding (love the rooms) at the last minute and took such good care of him. My dog became grievously ill while I was laid up in a nursing facility following a car accident. The staff offered to come to my house to get my girl to treat her! I was awestruck by their willingness to go the extra mile for me. Excellent care and service! I had to drop off my beloved bassett for surgery and pick her up after their closing time. The staff was extremely helpful and willing to wait for me to come get my Bassett. The care she received from the staff and dr. Hinkle was excellent. Dr. Hinkle was amazing when our sweet Ziggy had horrible neck pain and couldn't walk or eat and started having neurological deficits. She recommended we take him to a neurosurgeon right away. We got in that afternoon and he had an MRI and neck surgery and was home the next day. She then called after hours to check in on Ziggy. Love this clinic! Read Less

The best vets in Texas. The vets here has done so much for my daughters dog and for my little Daphanie. I will never go to another clinic. We had just moved to the area and needed a vet ASAP.  Our poodle was very sick and they got her in quickly, she had a serious case of the dog flu.  They treated her quickly and took precautions to be sure they treated the flu effectively.  They truly did save her life.  I definitely would recommend them. I was very impressed with the overall cleanliness of this facility. The staff are very conscientious and friendly. We have to go on extended travel with my husband's work and have used the boarding. We've been going there for over a year and thought it would get better - never did.  We initially went in because our dog had unexplainably lost 20 pounds.  Dr. Lang had asked to keep the dog for a few days to run some tests and after a few days and $800 later we never had a concise diagnosis and went on our way.   To this day we never knew what it was.  A few weeks ago we brought the puppies in and two adult labs in for their check ups and shots.  Just this past weekend we kenneled the dogs and while they were in they gave the puppies check-ups again (it had only been two weeks).  While dropping the dogs off to kennel we had one that was going to get spayed.  The technician recited the procedure and what to anticipate as if she was reading it from a 3x5 card,  I told her that I would be leaving the dog as we are going on a 5 day vacation so what are the provisions for this scenario, She started over and continued to recite only what she had known.  When we picked the dogs up yesterday the one that was intended to be spayed never got spayed however she did receive all of her lab work in preparation for the procedure.  When told why she didn't get spayed they said they were confused what dog was to receive the procedure.  Oh, but the lab work was done on the correct dog???Not impressed, extremely frustrated!! Dr. Lang and his staff are far and away the best in the Hill Country!  They are caring and compassionate and they are current on the latest practice trends and technological advances in the field of veterinary medicine.  My two dogs actually get excited when we pull into the parking lot of the vet clinic!  Cibolo Creek Vet Hospital has a wonderful, clean, spacious, totally affordable boarding facility, as well.  It is the only place I would consider boarding my dogs.
