Dr. Henthorne and Dr. Early are really great. The vet techs however seem to be confused on records and shots needed per visit. There has been a few times they've tried to give my dogs a vaccine they have already had. I think if they slowed down a little the quality of care would improve. My dogs absolutely love everyone there and you can tell they genuinely care about animals.

Dr. Joseph Burke and his staff are the best Veterinary staff I've ever been to. They have taken wonderful care of our three dogs over the past 5 years. Our two older dogs are having serious aging issues, both 13 now. I trust these people so much. I am a "retired" veterinary technician, and work at a big box store as a dog groomer. I've worked for more than 10 veterinary hospitals over the years, but we would only choose you. These people have so much compassion, love, and vast knowledge to help our boys to the end. I can't say enough about each one of his technicians and the other Veterinarians at Cornerstone. Thank you Dr. Burke, Major and Redford send "high fives!"

The people are friendly but it is a money hustle. From the time you get there until you leave they are trying to drain your wallet. If you have an emergency, you can forget anything that would resemble compassion. The front desk just won't listen to it and you'll end up at the emergency clinic in Austin. I highly suggest finding a vet that is more worried about your pets than your credit card. I have been with these people since about 2010 but the sales have gotten so bad that I'll go elsewhere. You are warned.

Amazing first visit!!! Great facility and great staff. I moved to Buda from Austin and was paying tons of money at my Austin vet and got a lot of "I don't know we will wait it out" answers. Decided to make the switch to cornerstone and saw Dr. H. She was amazing and the staff was so helpful. They gave me tips on how to introduce a puppy to my home with my cat. And didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff. Really sincere and helpful. Plus SO AFFORDABLE. I went ahead and prebooked for my puppy to see them as well!! Definitely recommend.

We have two dogs who are our babies. They treat us like family at Cornerstone. They never push us to do anything we aren't comfortable with and they always make sure that we know our options. The email reminders are the best because although I am great at remembering their monthly pills their annually shots are a little fuzzy. They are great at fitting us in in the event of something urgent and when I panic are a dream at calming me down. I mean they are my babies! I am just glad they understand that! Other vets in Austin haven't.

We live in the same general area so we started to take our male and female (Father & Daughter) Chihuahuas to Cornerstone and we absolutely love them! We recently had our feamle Chi in to remove 5 teeth and that was a huge thing for my wife who is very nervous about putting her under for anything let along oral surgery, but they did a wonderful job from Pre-op to Post-op and My wife and little Chi are very happy. When my dog is at home or in public anywhere but petco and the vet, she's excited but subdued. She doesn't lunge or jump on anyone. She's even calmer around small kids. Most of the assistants and veterinarians at Cornerstone understand completely that a 2 yr old lab can be excitable. Not Dr. Lee or Lea or whatever her name is (because she didn't introduce herself). She must be right out of vet school because she just seemed down right rude talking about my dog. My dog immediately sat and even laid down for her upon command and she was extremely calm (for a 2 yr old lab) during the exam. But when she went to give my dog a treat, she said "you guys need to work on gentle" in an unpleasant tone. She didn't even try to give the treat to her, she opted for dropping it into my dogs mouth. I understand she doesn't know my dog, but she shouldnt assume I'm letting her rule the house and bite our hands off. She's better trained than most 2 yr old dogs I've met. She never told me how my dog looked, how the exam went, never asked about her. I thought she would come back into the room to talk but she never did. So take your pets to Cornerstone (they got us in same day and are great) but ask to not see Dr. Lee or Lea. Everyone else is wonderful.

My dog was recently bit by another dog and we needed to take her in right away. I called Cornerstone late Saturday afternoon to get her in and they had us come right over. Within minutes my dog was taken care of and we were on our way. The staff and doctor were concerned and courteous. I would recommend Cornerstone Veterinary to anyone with a pet. Dr. Burke has been caring for my cats for several years. He takes the time to explain & explore available options & will work with you to decide what is best for your pet. I love his easy, laid-back manner--he's never pushy. In my experience, over more than 20 years, vets are generally either really good with animals or really good with people. It is a rare vet who is great with both & Dr. Burke is one of these rare vets. He has helped me through having to put down two of my cats who had terminal health problems with great care & compassion. Dr Burke & his staff are always terrific! He even came in on a Sunday once when one of my cats ""crashed"" again after having a bad reaction to the anesthetic after an ear cleaning procedure. I can recommend Dr. Burke without any reservations! You'd be hard pressed to find a better vet.

We followed Joe from Wimberley to Buda. We make the 30 minute drive because Joe is worth it. He looks for inexpensive ways out, could not be more compassionate or educated. His staff is awesome. Joe is thorough, give you options for your pet care, and truly loves animals. We could find care 5 minutes away but know we can't get the amazing quality Cornerstone provides. We have had numerous emergencies and Dr. Burke has even come in right after a root canal to make sure our dog was ok! Dedication like that is hard to find. He will not try to run up your bill with frivolous tests that are invasive and unnecessary, and he always gives you advance quotes for procedures so you are never surprised by any fee. I could not recommend a better vet in the state. You truly tcould not trust your dog, cat, horse, cow, etc. with a better clinic!

Dr. Burke has cared for a variety of pets for us and each time has been such a pleasant experience. We had the sad experience of having to send one of our dogs on to dog heaven last year and I couldn't have asked for a more caring and gentle person to do it. The Staff has also been very helpful and pleasant each time that I either called or went in. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Amazing first visit!!! Great facility and great staff. I moved to Buda from Austin and was paying tons of money at my Austin vet and got a lot of "I don't know we will wait it out" answers. Decided to make the switch to cornerstone and saw Dr. H. She was amazing and the staff was so helpful. They gave me tips on how to introduce a puppy to my home with my cat. And didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff. Really sincere and helpful. Plus SO AFFORDABLE. I went ahead and prebooked for my puppy to see them as well!! Definitely recommend.

We have two dogs who are our babies. They treat us like family at Cornerstone. They never push us to do anything we aren't comfortable with and they always make sure that we know our options. The email reminders are the best because although I am great at remembering their monthly pills their annually shots are a little fuzzy. They are great at fitting us in in the event of something urgent and when I panic are a dream at calming me down. I mean they are my babies! I am just glad they understand that! Other vets in Austin haven't.

I too used to love Cornerstone and Dr Smith, however, customer service lately has been fair at best. This incident was the last straw, and we changed vets.

We live in the same general area so we started to take our male and female (Father & Daughter) Chihuahuas to Cornerstone and we absolutely love them! We recently had our feamle Chi in to remove 5 teeth and that was a huge thing for my wife who is very nervous about putting her under for anything let along oral surgery, but they did a wonderful job from Pre-op to Post-op and My wife and little Chi are very happy. When my dog is at home or in public anywhere but petco and the vet, she's excited but subdued. She doesn't lunge or jump on anyone. She's even calmer around small kids. Most of the assistants and veterinarians at Cornerstone understand completely that a 2 yr old lab can be excitable. Not Dr. Lee or Lea or whatever her name is (because she didn't introduce herself). She must be right out of vet school because she just seemed down right rude talking about my dog. My dog immediately sat and even laid down for her upon command and she was extremely calm (for a 2 yr old lab) during the exam. But when she went to give my dog a treat, she said "you guys need to work on gentle" in an unpleasant tone. She didn't even try to give the treat to her, she opted for dropping it into my dogs mouth. I understand she doesn't know my dog, but she shouldnt assume I'm letting her rule the house and bite our hands off. She's better trained than most 2 yr old dogs I've met. She never told me how my dog looked, how the exam went, never asked about her. I thought she would come back into the room to talk but she never did. So take your pets to Cornerstone (they got us in same day and are great) but ask to not see Dr. Lee or Lea. Everyone else is wonderful.

My dog was recently bit by another dog and we needed to take her in right away. I called Cornerstone late Saturday afternoon to get her in and they had us come right over. Within minutes my dog was taken care of and we were on our way. The staff and doctor were concerned and courteous. I would recommend Cornerstone Veterinary to anyone with a pet. Dr. Burke has been caring for my cats for several years. He takes the time to explain & explore available options & will work with you to decide what is best for your pet. I love his easy, laid-back manner--he's never pushy. In my experience, over more than 20 years, vets are generally either really good with animals or really good with people. It is a rare vet who is great with both & Dr. Burke is one of these rare vets. He has helped me through having to put down two of my cats who had terminal health problems with great care & compassion. Dr Burke & his staff are always terrific! He even came in on a Sunday once when one of my cats ""crashed"" again after having a bad reaction to the anesthetic after an ear cleaning procedure. I can recommend Dr. Burke without any reservations! You'd be hard pressed to find a better vet.

We followed Joe from Wimberley to Buda. We make the 30 minute drive because Joe is worth it. He looks for inexpensive ways out, could not be more compassionate or educated. His staff is awesome. Joe is thorough, give you options for your pet care, and truly loves animals. We could find care 5 minutes away but know we can't get the amazing quality Cornerstone provides. We have had numerous emergencies and Dr. Burke has even come in right after a root canal to make sure our dog was ok! Dedication like that is hard to find. He will not try to run up your bill with frivolous tests that are invasive and unnecessary, and he always gives you advance quotes for procedures so you are never surprised by any fee. I could not recommend a better vet in the state. You truly tcould not trust your dog, cat, horse, cow, etc. with a better clinic!

Dr. Burke has cared for a variety of pets for us and each time has been such a pleasant experience. We had the sad experience of having to send one of our dogs on to dog heaven last year and I couldn't have asked for a more caring and gentle person to do it. The Staff has also been very helpful and pleasant each time that I either called or went in. I would highly recommend this clinic.
