The Fosters are always welcoming. They have answered an emergency call and seen one of our animals a mere 15 minutes before closing for the day when she was injured. If I could rate lower than one star I would. These people lied to me about their prices and their ability to perform specific surgeries. I drove all the way to them because they said they could help my dog. All I got was a room full of women gossiping about other clients and mocking their animal knowledge. They were very low classed and rude. The vet and the assistant both insisted on using a muzzle on my dog. Despite my objection and my dog having been examined earlier the same day by a different vet who did not use a muzzle, they used the muzzle anyway. My dog suffers from anxiety and I explained the muzzle would induce his anxiety and that's exactly what happened. My dog was obviously being profiled for his appearance. The assistant made the comment that she was working the following day and did not want to deal with a bite wound even though my dog is wonderfully friendly. Do not waste your time nor your money with these horrible, ignorant and rude people.Read Less

I have used Buna Animal Hospital exclusively for over 10 years. The doctors and staff are amazing and caring. They have always managed to get me in anytime that I have called. I've not had a dire emergency, but assume I would be directed to a ER if it were after hours or during time they are closed. as most clinics would do. I did have an incident during one of their closed day where I had to use another vet. I left there feeling taken advantage of with suggestions of surgeries for issues not needed. The other office asked me UP FRONT, what was the limit I would be willing to pay for care. Amazingly, my bill was slightly below that! Buna Animal Hospital is a good honest place to do business. Yes this vet cares about emergencies. They have come at 3 AM before to help with dogs that have all kinds of problems going on or come on holidays when they could be with family. To the other review, it's not our fault when the answering service makes a mistake, sorry they didn't get your number from the answering service. That's still no reason to say we don't care. I wasn't there when the vet came to see my rescue horse, my daughter was my stand in, the vet was ther to pull a coggins only, however the vet ( I didn't get his name) gave my horse a good going over and discusssed his feeding and grooming with my daughter at no charge, informed my daughter that the horse was in poor condition (which we already knew as he was a rescue) and told her that in the event she had any problems or questions to call him night or day and he would come to see the horse, he seen very concerned and passionate about the horse~ my animals will never see another vet.
