Highly recommend reading up on them and Pets mart combined. I will Never take any of my babies to either place for Any services, will instead use my private vet or the TCAP.

I’ve experienced both good and bad. I will say that Dr. Gibson is the only doctor they have I like though.

They care more about money than the actual care of the Pet. Evaluated and prescribed medicines only to have to take him back the next week for another diagnosis and more meds which still didn't fix his eye. Signed up for the plan still costs me 100-200 to be seen. Staff and company are uncaring. Save your money and go somewhere else Read Less

I really did enjoy our (my dog and I) visit to Banfield. I have a Papillon/Dachshund mix and he had a swollen back leg and was having trouble even lifting himself up from a sitting position. I did some research from my house and thought it was Luxating Patella (knee popping out of place). Even though I am not a vet, the Vet we did see took my idea and thoughts seriously. Comes to find out I was right. She didn't just dismiss what I thought it was because I'm not a "vet". That really did make me feel like a part of my dog's health. The hospital even called a few days later to make sure he was feeling better. My experience was wonderful! When my little man doesn't feel well - I don't feel well haha :D I have recently moved out of state and called to see about having his prescription transferred. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that all their computer systems are linked, so I can go into any location and they have his complete medical records!! Thank you Banfield for keeping my little man healthy. He is only 3 (nearly 4) years old, but was acting like he was an elderly dog :( 48 hours of anti-inflammatory and joint supplements (which will always have to take) and he is running around like a puppy again. Wears his sister out who is half his age (and a jack russell mix!! - those things never tire out!!). Read Less

They charge twice as much for their surgeries and treatments as another local vet.  Doctors and staff are very nice, but so are the other vets in the area.

My poodle mix was experiencing a lot of pain and could barely walk. Knowing from previous experience how expensive the animal ER is, I opted to give Banfield a try. I called last minute to get my dog an appointment, and the receptionist said they could work me in at 1:45. We arrived a few minutes early, but were quickly directed to an exam room where filled out the paperwork and waited for the doctor. Dr. Gibson greeted us in a timely manner and she was very knowledgable and friendly. Her confidence in my pet's diagnosis made me feel at ease, and she didn't suggest a bunch of unnecessary testing or X-rays-- which is what we were expecting. The office visit was $40, and Dr. Gibson prescribed 3 medications, so our total bill was about $110. We were glad to pay it knowing that our dog would start feeling better in no time. I will definitely take my dog to Dr. Gibson in the future.Read Less

The staff is very friendly and always make me and my dog feel special. It can be a little pricey, but they do an excellent job explaining why things are needed. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Malpractice... Our dog went in for vomiting and not eating, she was diagnosed with dental and gum disease. Only a small note about abdominal disease in the examination report. No consultation was given about her firm abdomen. She was given antibiotics for the dental and gum disease. She was taken back the next day with no change and was sent home with tablets to prevent vomiting. No change in two days so we took her to another vet and found she had Pyometra and could have passed away very soon if left untreated. If we had stayed with Banfield she would have passed away.
