Prices are higher than most, but they do offer more treatment options. Spay and Neuter costs are high compared to others in the area. If you have a complicated medical issue with your cats, take them here. Cannot speak to dog care, as we only gave cats.

We absolutely love Palo Duro Vet!!!! Especially Dr. Kirkland! We took in 2 little 5 week old kittens that someone idiot literary threw away down a disgusting alley. Both were super sick ,Dr. Kirkland came out herself when we bought them in and rushed them to back. Sadly one had to be put to sleep. But the other Stardust is her name. Dr. Kirkland got her all better and almost 3 weeks ago spayed her. She's doing excellent, if it hadn't been for Dr. Kirkland, little Stardust might not have survived at all.

We had to take our cat in to the Palo Duro Animal Hospital when her back legs stopped working. The staff was super friendly. They took great care of our cat and were very thorough when they were explaining the possibilities of what was wrong and our options moving forward. Unfortunately, we decided that putting her out of her pain was the best choice, but they were extremely caring towards my cat and myself throughout that as well. Overall, (aside from the obvious) this was a great experience with them and I would absolutely recommend them.

Palo Duro Animal Hospital is not expensive, and as far as I can tell they are worth every penny. It's clean and everyone I've met there is friendly and loves the animals. I can't say the same for the three different vets I've tried in Amarillo. Palo Duro Animal Hospital has done wonders for my cats, and I know from now on where I will take my animals. Their parking lot needs working on, but its a fantastic place.

We absolutely love Palo Duro Vet!!!! Especially Dr. Kirkland! We took in 2 little 5 week old kittens that someone idiot literary threw away down a disgusting alley. Both were super sick ,Dr. Kirkland came out herself when we bought them in and rushed them to back. Sadly one had to be put to sleep. But the other Stardust is her name. We had to take our cat in to the Palo Duro Animal Hospital when her back legs stopped working. The staff was super friendly. They took great care of our cat and were very thorough when they were explaining the possibilities of what was wrong and our options moving forward. Unfortunately, we decided that putting her out of her pain was the best choice, but they were extremely caring towards my cat and myself throughout that as well. Overall, (aside from the obvious) this was a great experience with them and I would absolutely recommend them.

Palo Duro Animal Hospital is not expensive, and as far as I can tell they are worth every penny. It's clean and everyone I've met there is friendly and loves the animals. I can't say the same for the three different vets I've tried in Amarillo. Palo Duro Animal Hospital has done wonders for my cats, and I know from now on where I will take my animals.
