My 13-yr old Lab had a very intense teeth surgery and the staff was very VERY helpful. They were clear to communicate every time, they treated our pup very well, and they made us feel like we could trust them wholeheartedly with our pup after the first visit. We have been loyal clients at Cypress Creek Pet Care since 2009. The entire staff is wonderful and the doctors are by far the best we've ever had for our 3 cats. Dr. Laurie Kim is amazing with our cats and always takes her time while examining our cats and explaining to us exactly is going on with them. There is no one we trust more than Dr. Kim and the entire team at Cypress Creek Pet Care. The facility is always clean and the staff always goes out of their way to make sure our cats are comfortable and helps to minimize their stress levels. We live about 20-25 minutes away and even though there are many other vets closer to us, you couldn't pay us to go anywhere else. After years of being highly satisfied with boarding my dog here, something has changed and changed for the worse. First, front desk personnel are no longer friendly and competent. Second, there is a failure to communicate the increase price changes, and third they think nothing of adding additional "services"($53) and telling you that it now mandatory and if you don't pay it they won't board your dog. They had me over the barrel yesterday as I was needing to board a plane and they screwed me. Furthermore, after years of making advanced reservations they now require a $50 deposit to hold the reservation. This is NO way to treat loyal existing customers. Read Less

We just moved to Cedar Park the beginning of April and selected Cypress Creek Pet Care for our 14yr old lab after researching the local veterinarian services. When Dr Hopper discovered a large tumor she was very patient in explaining our options to both my husband and I. All of the staff was very compassionate and understanding when we had to say goodbye to our sweet old boy. All of the techs were loving and caring with our dog and us during that difficult time. You can tell they all truly love animals and their people. When we bring home our new rescue dog, we will bring them to Dr Hopper at Cypress Creek Pet Care. They are wonderful! Dr. Kim has been our vet for years. I am very picky of who I chose because I am breed specific and experience is essential to my dogs needs and maintenance. She listens and takes time in explaining and understanding. I highly recommend this vet clinic. They care for your animals like they were their own and I love that! Emergencies, they get you in quick (especially with specific breeds that can be fine one minute and in distress in a matter of seconds. Cypress Creek Pet Care is absolutely wonderful - compassionate, professional, and very friendly, they always make our family (two dogs and many cats over the years) feel wanted and loved. They are so comforting to animals who are timid with a visit to the vet - and don't mind the constant mop-work that goes with caring for dogs! The doctors are clear and easy to understand, give you options, and will advise over the phone when you just aren't sure if you need to come in. Excellent, compassionate care from the staff and veterinarians. Thorough work-ups. Easy to get appointments, and great practice of sending reminders when care is due. Have heard good things about their boarding from neighbors and friends, but have not used that service personally. Only complaints are that they often seem to be upselling customers on (quite expensive) laboratory tests. These may be necessary for the platinum-level of pet care, but may not provide that much diagnostic value. On a 14-year-old dog, will an extensive panel of blood work really change treatment options? Further, they are all too happy to fill prescriptions on-site, rather than offering to write a prescription that could be filled - for a small fraction of the cost - at Target, Walgreens, or Costco. Ask for the prescription if traveling to a pharmacy isn't too great an inconvenience, especially if the drug being prescribed is available as a $4 generic at pharmacies. Your wallet will thank you. Dr. Kim and staff are, quite simply, the best. Not once did I feel like my baby and I were just names and numbers to them. Everyone there showed their love for animals and people alike; they did everything they could to help Umi and me, including holding her close after a seizure and chasing us down before we got to the car to give her a pat and a treat. I boarded my cat here for about a week. I was worried he would come back traumatized from the experience, but he was his normal happy self. The staff is always friendly and helpful, they gave me a full tour of the facility and answered all my questions before I made the decision to board my cat with them. Some places require your pet be a "client" to be able to board them. Meaning you need to bring them in for an exam and shots or something, adding exam fees and overpriced vaccinations to the cost of boarding. I appreciate that Cypress Creek does not do that, they allowed me to simply pay for boarding. The price is reasonable (best of the 3 or 4 other places I contacted), the facility is spacious and clean, and the staff is friendly. I will definitely use their services again in the future.
