Recently took our Boogie to figure out what was wrong and the staff member had no sympathy in revealing the results. Sadly, we did not have thousands of dollars up front and they would not allow us any payment options just money upfront. Seeing how devastated we were they left us with the only option the vet was willing to administer. Which was putting our 8yr old Boogie down. We left devastated and disheartened that we were unable to save our baby because money stopped us. We will carry the memories of our baby and pray this 24 hr emergency care facility will learn to empathize with owners and allow payment arrangements when the price is outrageously expensive. We just found out from our family vet that the highest would have been $2000 not $6000 which was the minimum the vet quoted us. Read Less

Unpleasant visit. Staff was unfriendly and very expensive. Quoted us for an estimated bill of $900-$1200 and the only way for treatment was to pay it in full immediately. Took him to our vet the next day and our vet charged us $38 to clean him up and give him a thoroughly check of his wounds. He didn’t need all the X-rays and medications they wanted us to pay for on top of extra fees. Staff seemed upset we couldn’t pay for everything they recommended. Luckily we dodged being robbed by this place. Sadly, the staff commented how they charge at least 3x more than a regular vet which made our decision of leaving easy. Read Less

But we rushed him there when he was critical and they did absolutely everything possible to save him, and were so understanding and actually CARED, they really made saying good-bye the best it could have been in that situation, and watching the Vet do everything in her power really mattered to us in his final moments. Absolutely horrendous service! I brought my dog in to the emergency room because I thought he was severely dehydrated and had something jammed in his throat after being at the park. I told the front desk and the assistant all the issues and that I was worried. They put me in an exam room right away, but I then had to wait for over an hour in the room for the doctor. Bonus, I was the only person in there at that time. It was unprofessional and shows how little they care about animals especially the ones brought into the ER where their owners are worried for their pet's life. Do not go to this animal hospital at all! Only go of it an emergency because it is the only animal ER open 24/7 in the city. Read Less

One of the techs even made us a beautiful paw print in clay in remembrance. My son, fiancé, and myself were present for her euthanasia. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Graham. He is truly the most compassionate vet in Corpus Christi. He is always willing to answer my millions of questions and never makes me feel like our visit is rushed. Most vets will only examine the area of concern but Dr. Graham gives a full and thorough exam. Checking my pets for any lumps or bumps, teeth for tarter, joints for range of motion, the whole nine yards. And, he always remembers me. That kind of bedside manner goes a long way. Read Less

We arrived at 11pm thinking we would need a C-Section due to a stuck pup. Dr. Travis was able to turn the puppy around from a very unusual position, so no C-Section was required, and the mom then could push it out. Dr. Travis had us on our way home in less than an hour. My dog had suffered an injury, couldn't use her entire left side of her body, and I couldn't find a vet closer to me that could see her as a walk in. Based on recommendations made to me by others I personally know, I called this clinic and they told me they accepted walk ins, and warned me there might be a wait. I drove the 45 min to the clinic, and I was only sitting in the lobby for about 10 minutes before I was called into a room. The vet, Dr. Graham, I thought was very knowledgeable, and he was able to identify my dog's ailment. Unfortunately, it wasn't what any pet owner wanted to hear, and after much discussion about her treatment options, I made the hard decision to euthanize her (this was not the vet's first suggestion to me at all--if anything, I brought it up). I simply wouldn't be able to afford, or save up the money for what needed to be done in the short amount of time that would be needed to ensure my pup would gain back some of her lost mobility. It was a tough decision, but I couldn't allow my pup to live in pain and unable to ever walk again. But the vet, Dr. Graham, and the tech Jordan were so supportive and made my sweet girl comfortable. It's been two days, and I personally received a call from Dr. Graham checking on how I was holding up. It was the kindest gesture... especially for him to take time out of his day to check on how I've been doing since I had to put my baby down. Everyone I spoke with, the receptionist at the time, the vet, vet tech, and the other kind girl who helped the tech wheel my pup out to my car, were all such nice and supportive people. It was comforting. Despite the circumstances of the visit, I would still recommend this clinic to others. It's not their fault for the diagnosis of my pup's injury, but their kindness and concern has stuck with me, and it was highly appreciated and needed. Read Less

We absolutely love OSO Creek Animal Hospital and Emergency Center!! The Staff is very professional and always courteous and super helpful. We have used a few other vets looking for the one that just felt right. And we have found it here!!. We want our dog to have the absolute best care available. He has a unique heart problem and we want our Vet. to pull out all the stops, and give us options that we did not receive at other animal hospitals. The staff puts our Golden Retriever's needs first. They sit on the floor with him and explain very thoroughly what we need to do as 'pet parents' to give him a full and joyous life. We are glad for all their experience and advanced technology that they have available if we should ever need it. We really appreciate all the time they take with us and of course Barney :-) If you want more than just a place to go get your dogs shots, if you want personal attention for your pets, then this is the place for you too :-) Read Less

I don't know how many vets are here, but there have been one or two that have been amazing, that being said, it seems like we always have to wait a long time to be seen, even if it's by appointment, and one of them told us to euthanize our otherwise perfectly happy, healthy kitten because she has seizures. Like 8 months later, kitten takes meds for her seizures, and she's still a happy, healthy, active little cat. She will always have to take meds, and she may have a shorter life span, but none of the other vets or the neurologist we visited in San Antonio, have suggested euthanasia. I don't know if she thought we couldn't afford to take care of her or if we didn't want to waste our time on her or what, but she never asked about that before getting us all upset thinking that was the best option. Our 7.5 week old puppy accidentally injured his eye (hanging out of the socket) playing with our bigger dog. We rushed him over to Oso Creek without any notice to them. I wasn't even through the 2nd door at the entrance when a nurse tech was right in my face and said "I got him," and she swoop him away to the back. They took us immediately to an exam room to fill out paperwork and wait for the vet to give us a diagnosis. The vet was in to see us within 10 minutes with a thorough diagnosis and course of action (We already knew eye removal was the only course.) He was sedated upon arrival and literally out of surgery less than 3 hours after the incident. The vet and techs were awesome! I do not know about the regular services, but the emergency service is superb. I would definitely recommend. And puppy is doing well...minus one eye. Read Less

We weren’t able to make it in time to save our dog, after he was sent home twice from another vet clinic in town. But we rushed him there when he was critical and they did absolutely everything possible to save him, and were so understanding and actually CARED, they really made saying good-bye the best it could have been in that situation, and watching the Vet do everything in her power really mattered to us in his final moments. Will ONLY use them from now on. Read Less

Read Less

Went in yesterday for a consultation. Saw dr. Vaughn. He told us our beloved family pet was very ill, suspected a form of cancer, and gave us our options. We chose to euthanize. BEST BESIDE MANNER EVER. He handled this situation with honesty, integrity, and KINDNESS. FLAWLESS PROFESSIONALISM AND COMPASSION. Him and his staff won my total trust. One of the techs even made us a beautiful paw print in clay in remembrance. My son, fiancé, and myself were present for her euthanasia. He allowed us to react and grieve without feeling like we had to behave a certain way. He participated in this process with us and not as a cold bystander. he was professional while being warm. Thank you to everyone there last night. Robin deserved the best and i Thank God for placing us in your company's care. 3-6-17 6pm-8pmRead Less

Not only did our little mom avoid surgery, we saved about $1500. Kudos to a caring and capable veterinarian who was fully focused on patient care instead of the fees that she could earn. Read Less

Not cool... Read Less

Read Less
