The staff here is inept. They were supposed to sedate and x-ray my dog but instead they told me they only gave him a check up but when I got my dog I noticed a prick in his skin and he was extremly tired. They sedated him and lied about it. Also Dr. Coitus is a total quack.

I was looking forward to boarding my small maltipoo here, because they have reasonable boarding prices. When I picked her up, her ears were wet and she smelled like urine! They told me she was just walked outside but wouldnt go pee outside, soooo I guess she pee'd in the kennel but they didnt bother cleaning her up before I arrived.I've boarded her at other places, and have never heard that she wouldnt pee outside.Would not recommend this place.

If you care about your pet's life; do not take them to city vet at Preston & Royal in Dallas. City vet killed my beloved cat. City vet guilts owners into doing unnecessary, costly and dangerous procedures. After a wellness exam where my seven year old cat was perfectly healthy; I was told that he needed a dental cleaning which they do under anesthesia. I was told that this was vital if I cared about his health. He came home from the dental shaking, breathing shallowly, not eating, not meowing, too weak to walk and pawing at his mouth. City vet acted defensively and did not once call to ask about his health during the three remaining weeks of his life. My cat was at a specialist the last weeks of his life while they tried to figure out what City Vet had done to him and to save him. I will never forgive myself for taking my cat to City Vet and allowing them to do a dental on him.

I normally use the city vet in Addison but they were booked and I needed to get my dog Molly in right away and Addison city vet transferred my over to this location to see if they could get her in. Everyone has and was very wonderful. The vet explained everything to me very well and even said that if my fiancé needed to come in and hear everything again that she would be more then happy. They were so good with my Molls and even let me go in the back to see her X-rays. They were so patient with me (I kept getting very distracted because of all the other days. Can't help it, love dogs) and let me take pictures of we X-rays and really explained to me what was going on with my pup. I have had to call multiple times and ask questions and everyone has been very helpful. We will be back on the 18th of August for her surgery and I feel very confident that they will take very good care of her.

Do not recommend this location - ton's of great groomers in Dallas, take your business elsewhere.

I took my dog to CityVet at the Preston/Royal location to be spayed and I boarded her there after for 3 days. She did great! The doctors and nurses were all very nice and very helpful. I could tell they really loved my dog. The office was very clean and has lots of food, etc. that you can buy there. I will definitely be coming back here!

So happy I found this place. After moving to the area I had a hard time finding a vet/grooming. Just randomly tried City Vet after being unhappy with 2 other nearby places. Took my dogs in for grooming and they noticed that one of them was squinting. Dr. McCabe called me and asked me if she could take a look at my dogs. I was thrilled that they noticed something was wrong and called me to ask if they could examine him turns out he had a scratch on his cornea. We've been going to Dr. McCabe ever since. Sometimes if we need to get in we have seen other doctors and I love them all. The staff that greats you is super nice and we couldn't be happier with City Vet!

I normally use the city vet in Addison but they were booked and I needed to get my dog Molly in right away and Addison city vet transferred my over to this location to see if they could get her in. We love City vet. My rescued puppy had distemper and after a hard fight with the great support, love and expertise of City Vet staff Sasha is the happiest and healthiest dog still 7 years later. We love all the staff at the multiple locations. Best vet in Dallas!

People turn out in droves to see our Goldens in need. The parking can get a bit crazy sometimes but we love them just the same.
