I recently took my cat here in a panic for treatment of some bladder/urinary tract issues that came up suddenly. The receptionist was very sweet and when I expressed concern about the cost of treatment, she told me that Dr. Priddy/the vet tech would go over a treatment plan with me outlining the costs of everything they were doing so I could choose to accept or decline each service. That didn't happen, which was a little frustrating and nerve-racking because I had no idea what to expect and money was a concern. Overall, Dr. Priddy and the tech were very informative and were both great with my cat, who doesn't normally do well in a carrier or around strangers. The prices were reasonable as well, so I will definitely return any time either of my fur babies need treatment.

I have used this vet for three years, the service is always great and if your pet is sick they will do everything they can to get you in last minute. If they can't provide a service in house they will refer you to the appropriate specialist. I have never had a bad experience here.

I recently took my two dogs to get established as new clients and I was very impressed with the kindness and professionalism of the staff when I arrived. As a little objective feedback, we have NEVER been to a vet where our appointment ran on time and where the vet was waiting for us in the room. For the last 32 years, vet appointments mean marking out half of a morning. We were in a room meeting Dr. Priddy in less than 5 minutes upon arrival. Never have these dogs had anyone get down on the floor to meet them and there he was - introducing himself on THEIR level. You know how dogs and small kids can sniff out a person and their spirit in a heartbeat? Well, my Bailey is blind and Freckles had a very bad experience with our previous vet’s staff. I was worried…..but it was immediate puppy love upon meeting Dr. Priddy! Both dogs also were quite fond of his assistant, too, as I saw them give her kisses and hugs. They never flinched with his injections and extractions. It was very trusting behavior of someone they had never met ~ and surely couldn’t quite “see.” I’m so happy with Bailey and Freckles’ responses to the entire visit. This household has such peace of mind now knowing we are in very capable and loving hands….and that’s a priceless gift. Thank you.

My Australian shepherds have been going to Dallas Vet. for nine years and have always received the best of care. The staff is beyond helpful, quick to recognize a familiar face and treat your animal as if it were their own when on the examination table. I've done my research and you truly can't beat the prices for vaccinations, examinations and prescriptions, ESPECIALLY in the Lake Highlands/Lakewood area. Dr. Priddy is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and very level headed. I've never left feeling like he was charging me too much. My only word of advice would be to ask who is conducting grooming and what the specific charges will be prior to you leaving your animal. In the past, it seems that different groomers have charged differently for the same treatment.

We love Dr Priddy and his entire staff! As a pet lover that has had dogs with special needs in the past, I have had amazing vets and not so great ones. Dr Priddy is one of the amazing animal lovers....
We love Dr Priddy and his entire staff! As a pet lover that has had dogs with special needs in the past, I have had amazing vets and not so great ones. Dr Priddy is one of the amazing animal lovers. My two pups are always happy to see him, and he keeps me informed of any up to date treatments or medications that may benefit them. He is very up front with cost and nothing is outrageously priced. I know he will always do what is in the best interest of my dogs, and I trust him implicitly.

Recently took my puppy to get a teeth cleaning. Had her teeth cleaned there 15 months prior. So this was just a routine cleaning. Or so I thought.
Dropped my 5 yr old chihuahua off with the expectation of picking her up with ONLY her teeth cleaned.
The receptionist/ladies at the front did not communicate the procedure or the possible costs. Did not communicate that the doctor would only call AFTER the procedure. That if there were additional costs, that it would be communicated AFTER the procedure was already preformed.
The WAIVER that I signed was not thoroughly discussed, and was NOT Communicated well. It was VERY VAGUE.
When I came to pick up my puppy, the cost was told to me, indicating that unauthorized things happened. The cost had been communicated weeks prior to being one price, and that was not the price told to me at the time of PICKING up my puppy.
So when I asked why it was so high, they finally told me that she had TEETH PULLED! They would not tell me how many. They only said that she is doing fine.
The lady explaining the cost only would say that for the procedures done, the cost was reasonable.
When I asked why I was not called prior to the teeth extraction, she said the Vet calls AFTER. So it is up to their discretion. No approval from the pet owner.
Their poor communication has cost them a customer. And I would not recommend this Vet Clinic.

Dr. Priddy is a gem! He recently treated my 13 year old Cavalier King Charles, Deanie, for a major GI issue. She had been groomed, boarded and vaccinated by Dr. Tolleson for ages but never did she have a major illness until this week. Dr. Priddy saw her immediately and was extremely thorough and compassionate. She had to be left at the clinic but he followed up each blood test, x-ray and surgical procedure with a phone call update. Deanie seems to be back to her lumbering, shuffling, senior canine status. Thank You, Dr. Priddy and staff!

I have an African Mastiff (Boerboel) puppy that was imported from Russia. She is very distrustful of our prior vet. I was about to be charged $700 from our first vet. I researched thoroughly and decided to come to Dallas Veterinary Clinic in hopes that they would understand the breed better. It was like night and day. The prices were amazing and the Doctor was even better. Staff is great too. Very knowledgeable and they don't push unnecessary products/vaccinations. Highly recommended.

I've been going to Dr. Tolleson for 25+ years beginning when the clinic was located on Hillcrest Avenue near SMU in University Park. I liked Dr. Tolleson from day one. He is friendly, explains everything in detail, and is always willing to answer questions. He has taken care of all three of the Boston Terriers that have been in my life in the last 25 years, and I've always felt they were getting the best of care. He is a truly great veterinarian, and I would highly recommend Dr. Tolleson to anyone. Sadly, my little KatieBelle - who is lying on the floor beside me as I type this - has developed congestive heart failure at age 13, and I must take her to Dr. Tolleson for the final time tomorrow. I know she will be in good hands until the end.

I began going to Dr. Tolleson with my 3 cats about 15 years ago. My coon cat got outside and possibly ate things he shouldn't have. I suddenly realized one day that he was swelled up like a balloon. Turns out that his kidneys were about to shut down. The Dr. performed a delicate kidney operation on Stinky, and he was good as new. He also put my other cat, who had cancer, to sleep with compassion.His prices are good, he's charming, and he never charges you more than necessary or adds on. His office is very centrally located for Dallas, but I'd drive a long way, if necessary.Anytime I need a vet, this is where I'll go.

I've been going to this clinic for my dog ever since I got him three years ago. I've never had a dog before and Dr. Tollson was great at explaining everything. His prices are very reasonable, and he does not do more than he thinks is necessary to treat the illness. My dog has been sick several times because of stuff he's eaten, and I've had to bring him in a lot the first year. I always felt like he was getting great care. The staff is also knowledgeable and nice, and my dog loves them. I have even boarded with them a couple times on occasion, and they are lower than comparable places in the area.

Arrogant, rude, and condescending, to say the least. I've put up with it for the past year because he seemed competent but the last time I took my cat there for a bladder infection he lectured me about how my cat did not have a bladder infection but rather a behavior disorder. He used me inappropriately in his examples about urinary tract infections and asked me equally inappropriate questions. When I finally got him to run the tests they revealed that my cat did in fact have a urinary tract infection.
Overall he seemed to care less about the health of my cat and more about talking down to me.
The staff was polite and helpful as always.

The people here were awesome! The facility was clean and welcoming, and they were kind, patient, and understanding with my special-care dog and myself (who is a first-time dog owner). My dog and i were both very comfortable being there, and i have absolutely every intention of returning!

My Australian shepherds have been going to Dallas Vet. for nine years and have always received the best of care. The staff is beyond helpful, quick to recognize a familiar face and treat your animal as if it were their own when on the examination table. I've done my research and you truly can't beat the prices for vaccinations, examinations and prescriptions, ESPECIALLY in the Lake Highlands/Lakewood area. Dr. Priddy is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and very level headed. I've never left feeling like he was charging me too much. My only word of advice would be to ask who is conducting grooming and what the specific charges will be prior to you leaving your animal. In the past, it seems that different groomers have charged differently for the same treatment.

We love Dr Priddy and his entire staff! As a pet lover that has had dogs with special needs in the past, I have had amazing vets and not so great ones. Dr Priddy is one of the amazing animal lovers....
We love Dr Priddy and his entire staff! As a pet lover that has had dogs with special needs in the past, I have had amazing vets and not so great ones. Dr Priddy is one of the amazing animal lovers. My two pups are always happy to see him, and he keeps me informed of any up to date treatments or medications that may benefit them. He is very up front with cost and nothing is outrageously priced. I know he will always do what is in the best interest of my dogs, and I trust him implicitly.

Recently took my puppy to get a teeth cleaning. Had her teeth cleaned there 15 months prior. So this was just a routine cleaning. Or so I thought.
Dropped my 5 yr old chihuahua off with the expectation of picking her up with ONLY her teeth cleaned.
The receptionist/ladies at the front did not communicate the procedure or the possible costs. Did not communicate that the doctor would only call AFTER the procedure. That if there were additional costs, that it would be communicated AFTER the procedure was already preformed.
The WAIVER that I signed was not thoroughly discussed, and was NOT Communicated well. It was VERY VAGUE.
When I came to pick up my puppy, the cost was told to me, indicating that unauthorized things happened. The cost had been communicated weeks prior to being one price, and that was not the price told to me at the time of PICKING up my puppy.
So when I asked why it was so high, they finally told me that she had TEETH PULLED! They would not tell me how many. They only said that she is doing fine.
The lady explaining the cost only would say that for the procedures done, the cost was reasonable.
When I asked why I was not called prior to the teeth extraction, she said the Vet calls AFTER. So it is up to their discretion. No approval from the pet owner.
Their poor communication has cost them a customer. And I would not recommend this Vet Clinic.

Dr. Priddy is a gem! He recently treated my 13 year old Cavalier King Charles, Deanie, for a major GI issue. She had been groomed, boarded and vaccinated by Dr. Tolleson for ages but never did she have a major illness until this week. Dr. Priddy saw her immediately and was extremely thorough and compassionate. She had to be left at the clinic but he followed up each blood test, x-ray and surgical procedure with a phone call update. Deanie seems to be back to her lumbering, shuffling, senior canine status. Thank You, Dr. Priddy and staff!

I have an African Mastiff (Boerboel) puppy that was imported from Russia. She is very distrustful of our prior vet. I was about to be charged $700 from our first vet. I researched thoroughly and decided to come to Dallas Veterinary Clinic in hopes that they would understand the breed better. It was like night and day. The prices were amazing and the Doctor was even better. Staff is great too. Very knowledgeable and they don't push unnecessary products/vaccinations. Highly recommended.

I've been going to Dr. Tolleson for 25+ years beginning when the clinic was located on Hillcrest Avenue near SMU in University Park. I liked Dr. Tolleson from day one. He is friendly, explains everything in detail, and is always willing to answer questions. He has taken care of all three of the Boston Terriers that have been in my life in the last 25 years, and I've always felt they were getting the best of care. He is a truly great veterinarian, and I would highly recommend Dr. Tolleson to anyone. Sadly, my little KatieBelle - who is lying on the floor beside me as I type this - has developed congestive heart failure at age 13, and I must take her to Dr. Tolleson for the final time tomorrow. I know she will be in good hands until the end.

I began going to Dr. Tolleson with my 3 cats about 15 years ago. My coon cat got outside and possibly ate things he shouldn't have. I suddenly realized one day that he was swelled up like a balloon. Turns out that his kidneys were about to shut down. The Dr. performed a delicate kidney operation on Stinky, and he was good as new. He also put my other cat, who had cancer, to sleep with compassion.His prices are good, he's charming, and he never charges you more than necessary or adds on. His office is very centrally located for Dallas, but I'd drive a long way, if necessary.Anytime I need a vet, this is where I'll go.

I've been going to this clinic for my dog ever since I got him three years ago. I've never had a dog before and Dr. Tollson was great at explaining everything. His prices are very reasonable, and he does not do more than he thinks is necessary to treat the illness. My dog has been sick several times because of stuff he's eaten, and I've had to bring him in a lot the first year. I always felt like he was getting great care. The staff is also knowledgeable and nice, and my dog loves them. I have even boarded with them a couple times on occasion, and they are lower than comparable places in the area.

Arrogant, rude, and condescending, to say the least. I've put up with it for the past year because he seemed competent but the last time I took my cat there for a bladder infection he lectured me about how my cat did not have a bladder infection but rather a behavior disorder. He used me inappropriately in his examples about urinary tract infections and asked me equally inappropriate questions. When I finally got him to run the tests they revealed that my cat did in fact have a urinary tract infection.
Overall he seemed to care less about the health of my cat and more about talking down to me.
The staff was polite and helpful as always.
