A little slow but they'll service you and your pup if you have patience. Budget friendly care but you get what you pay for. Go to them for simple things/issues. I brought a dark bloody fecal sample which was given a hookworms diagnosis. That was scratching the surface and no alarm was raised about how dark it was and the Dr. only suggested to keep an eye on a small buldge on the butt that she noticed, not me. HE WAS INTERNALLY BLEEDING!!! I gave my dog the treatment they suggested and 5 days later I called for a follow up because he was getting worse. He didn't make it to the next morning. His melena was so bad he died 20 seconds after his last late night tarry black poop. I should have gotten a second look elsewhere, maybe there were other options. THE SIGNS AND RED FLAGS WERE DEFINITELY THERE! No warning or education on the situation and I even told them I was unfamiliar with hookworms and asked if they were serious and the lady responded "not very...it is odd to see them in older dogs" NO KIDDING! I scheduled my dogs appointments here for their vaccines and half way to the clinic I get a phone call to cancel my appointment and I get told that I am late because my appointment was scheduled 45 minutes early. On top of that I called the day before to confirm my appointment according to the reminder I was given the day I personally scheduled. Horrible organization!!! Read Less

Very understanding and helpful. Unfortunately our cat needed to be put to sleep due to large cancer growth. They lit a candle for him and also gave us a paw print as a keepsake. We brought our 3 year old Great Pyrenees to have his eye examined by Dr. Wagner. She and Greg, the vet tech, were very gentle. Brooks was calm and relaxed in their care. We did not have to wait at all. Dr. Wagner spent 50 minutes doing a full exam. She explained everything in clear language and answered all our questions thoroughly. I first called and visited last year about my cat Bubba's allergy problem. The doctor and staff were so friendly, supportive, and not at all pushy about doing additional tests or putting my Bubba on medication. The visit and allergy shot was very affordable and they accept credit cards. They even informed me that my cat was not microchipped like I thought! I came here years ago with my families dog Mandi, they were extremely welcoming and always loved seeing us and remembering my mandi every time we went.. one day, my love went to the heaven at age 13.. we were all heartbroken and so was the office staff... Forward time to yesterday, I decided to take my new dog to get an exam done and I wasn't sure how I would feel going again, with all the reminders of my precious mandi, and possibly new owners or staff... I went anyways and immediately walking in, I was welcomed and greeted and the staff welcomed and loved my new baby Akamaru.. I brought Ice Cube in on late Monday evening. Almost closing time, but my puppy Boxer had been looking very sick. They took him in even though it was close to closing time and started doing test on him. They drew blood and found that he had only about 13% of his blood. Thought for sure he was going to die from hook worms. They gave him some medicines along with iron supplements to help bring his blood back up...long story short. They saved my puppies life! So today was a stressful day as I was worried for my puppy Louie that has been sick a couple of days. I didn"t think to bring him to this hospital until the last minute when I was totally blown off by SPCA down the street. I have been a regular at the SPCA clinic on Village fair and always satisfied until today! This Vet Hospital took in my baby Louie without hesitation (walk-in) which is why I rated them 5 stars. Just recently I been unemployed and wanted the best for my little pouch that I rescued 2 weeks ago. Knowing what little money I had, Louie's check up was a success and I also was able to afford his first set of shots. The Gentleman(Vet Assistant) was so kind and had such wonderful affection towards my Louie... I knew he was in good hands. I feel confident that my Louie will get better now. Recently my cat Pickles was sick, he didn't want to eat, was throwing up and didn't want to play at all. Which is odd because he loves to eat and is a hyper ball of fur. Anyways, I had him on the wellness plus plan at Banfield Pet Hospital, I believe it's the one on Hampton. I took him there and they said he needed immediate surgery because he had something foreign in his small intestine and abdomen. It was going to cost me $1600. I didn't have the money and left very upset because I'm paying monthly for his plan and all it covers are his check ups. I was desperate to find somewhere where they could help my baby. I remembered there was this clinic down the street from where I live and decided to check it out with my fiancé. I didn't get the woman who was at the front desks name. And I forgot the vets name but they were so nice! Turns out he didn't even need surgery! They gave me some special food for him and some medicine. Pickles is now eating and pooping properly and getting into all kinds of trouble again. I'm so grateful, will definitely go again in the future. 10/10.Read Less

Just want to let customers know that Dr Diane Wagner, refuse to help a student at Townview High school with an interview for a school project, she not only said "NO" but she was rude and unprofessional, she told me that "students don't even know how to ask questions and she did not have time for that" I regret the time that I took my dog to her clinic, by the way our dog died two weeks after his treatment. I just think this is really sad since this is the only veterinary clinic doing business in our neighborhood, I just hope that nobody refused her a favor when she was a student; and when I tried to tell her that this are young students and why she wouldn't help my daughter she sounded really loud and just hung up on me, I just always known that Goodness is about character, honesty, kindness, generosity and the like. When I find something good, I like to stick with it. I have lived in various places, but for 14 years no matter where I was living, I made the trip to my vet in Oklahoma (unless of course there was an emergency). A couple years back one of our dogs was diagnosed with epilepsy, we eventually decided she needed a regular vet that was closer. We took all four in for their yearlies and I thought the staff was nice and truly cared. Chanel (the one with epilepsy) was notorious for eating things and upsetting her stomach. A couple of weeks ago she had an upset stomach, it was Thursday. Friday she wouldn't eat dinner so we took her in Saturday morning. We didn't have an appointment but they took her back immediately. They did blood work and out her on an IV. When I went to pick her up. Dr Wagner spent about 30 minutes going over everything and explaining our options. Unfortunately, Chanel had kidney failure and passed on the way to the 24 hour hospital. But I'm TRULY grateful for Dr. Wagner and her staff. She didn't just push us out the door to see the next patient, and she did everything she could to get her stable before going to the hospital. We went back the following Monday to thank her, we didn't expect it, but she went in an exam room with us and talked with us about it for a good 10 minutes. Best vet I have EVER had. We took our dog in one Saturday when she wasn't feeling well and Dr. Wagner did everything she possibly could to help my little girl. She took the time to personally explain all the results from the testing, taught my partner how to give her a fluid pouch and recommended other locations to go to that had 24 hour care. My dog unfortunately passed away later in the day but I just want Dr. Wagner and the entire team to know how much it meant to my partner and myself for doing what they did. Well, I can say that we have been with Love Freeway for over twenty years. The staff have been with our pets from puppy/.kitten hood until the last day. We have laughed and cried and been treated like their only client. We have seen a lot of staff over the years and they were great. We refer people to them no matter where they live.
