Dont get your pet cremated here. I was suppose to get a foot print and didn't get one. Which they couldn't do anymore because my pet (my baby) was already cremated already. First time bringing my pug to a vet. for an actual complication he was having, and not only was Rutherford super accommodating in getting him in the clinic asap, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and affordable! His ear infections were cured after just a couple of days but I especially appreciated the courtesy follow-up call and postcard we received in the mail. Our pup Cash loves coming to Rutherford, whether it is for a vet visit or for daycare. Dr. Washington is very sweet and Cash loves her. You can tell that she truly loves animals! We truly appreciate how she makes sure all of our questions are answered and never makes us feel rushed. The assistants are also very sweet and informative as well. The front office staff is always friendly and willing to help (this includes in office and times I have called in). Cash has only been t...o daycare once (usually someone is at home with him, but love having daycare as a backup when everyone is working). You can watch your dog play through their live camera feed throughout the day and they also text you pictures of your pup as well. They also take the dogs out in groups so that they have time to relax and cool off inside, which is really important in the summer months. Cash loved playing with all the other dogs and being able to swim in the pool. When I went to pick him up, he was so worn out from playing all day. They also give you a report card and a picture to take home as well. They give you a tour of the daycare/boarding facilities if you are interested/have questions! Dr. Rowan is absolutely incredible. She knows her stuff inside and out and goes well above the call of duty for her patients. Thanks to her I got an extra 8-10 months with my little sweetheart. I can't say enough about how wonderful and caring she is. At the end Dr. Washington had to step in, and despite seeing me at my absolute worst, she was a consummate professional, a dear friend, and a beautiful spirit who helped me make my hardest decision. I can't say enough wonderful things about this clinic or Dr. Rowan. I came to Rutherford while my normal vet was out of town, and I plan on going here from now on. My cat is everything to me, and Dr. Rowan has been the most caring and wonderful vet I've ever encountered. She cares immensely, and she takes time to explain everything and give multiple options. I made several visits for a few months when my cat became ill. Dr. Kerry Young did everything in her power to find out what was wrong and keep my cat comfortable. The prices are reasonable and they will give you a quote for everything beforehand if you would like. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful. You can tell that the dogs that come to board here love it. All the staff is very caring and pleasant. I ended up having to put my cat to sleep and I was glad it was at this place, which is more homely that a hospital. They let me be by her side to the end. I even got a card from Dr. Young afterwards and the hospital made a donation to an animal charity in my cat's name. Let me start by saying I have two very protective German shepherds and am crazy picky who i pick for a vet. I usually drive all the way out to Frisco . However, early on a Sunday morning, my pup's nose swelled up and looked like a gold ball in his nose. I thought it was a spider bite and panicked. I went to Rutherford because it was the nearest place. I will go back because of the vet and her staff. Everyone was patient, and nice to my overly protective boy Onix. They never once seemed irritated. Their prices were more than fair. Truly was pleasantly surprised by this place. I highly recommend! We have had a wonderful experience during the time we've taken our puppy to Rutherford; it's been approximately 7 months since we started going to Rutherford, and their veterinary care, their staff, and services have all been fantastic. Our puppy abolutely loves going to daycare, we love the webcams that allow us to watch her throughout the day, and we get an "action shot" of her playing sent to us midday via email each time she goes for daycare, in addition to a take home photo of her when we pick her up. Rutherford is open 7 days a week (beyond awesome) and is AAHA certified, which assures higher standards. After years at another local vet that cost twice as much for half the service with no personal touch, I am thrilled to have found Rutherford. Read Less
