The vet who cared for my Deuce during Christmas was the best. I was visiting and my Deuce fell ill and the doctor on staff was the absolute best.

I recently adopted an amazing dog from the SPCA. They told me about VCA Lindley as it was close to my house and offered a first visit free. My first visit was amazing; I later found out this was due to the fact that the vet I saw was only subbing for Dr. Lindley.
My second visit, Dr. Lindley kept referring to my dog as a "she" even though multiple times I corrected him because my dog is in fact a male. At this point I felt I needed to find another vet.
During my third and FINAL visit two days later (before I could find a new vet) I had to take my dog in because he had eaten something he shouldn't have. I attempted to make him vomit at home using hydrogen peroxide but he did not puke it up so I rushed him up to VCA Lindley. I told them that I had tried hydrogen peroxide and it didn't work. They then chose to administer even more hydrogen peroxide and sent me home without waiting for my dog to vomit.
After taking my dog home without vomiting and a quick google search, I learned that this does not work on all dogs. I had to rush him to an emergency animal hospital (because VCA closes at 6) and pay for them to administer a shot that makes dogs vomit 95% of the time. If Dr. Lindley or his staff bothered to wait the 15-20 minutes it should take for an animal to vomit after being given h.p., they would have known that he needed something stronger. In fact, they should have offered the shot in the first place after they knew I had already tried h.p. and it was unsuccessful. Instead, I had to pay an emergency vet fee and endanger my dog in the process as having h.p. on the stomach is toxic.
The management staff at VCA Lindley did refund the money I paid for the visit but this does not excuse the lack of care my dog was shown. Read Less

The "first exam free" cost me $300 because he needed ear medication. $300 for ear medication. Also, the vet was not personable, just cold and businesslike. First and last visit for me.

I am a stellar VCA hospital fan, from when I took my sick poodle in 1997. So, as I went grocery shopping at Krogers in North Dallas, I passed this place each time. There were no pets in the house at the time but I thought, if ever one should make a home, that is where the pet would go.Then, a kitten made her home, and VCA Lindley is where I took it. It is a small animal hospital but they do everything. The well kitty package included all the vaccinations, exams and everything for the first year, so it is a good deal. I am sure they have a well doggy package as well. The pet portal is a great way to keep up to date on all the reminders, what vaccinations are current and to ask questions. I use the pet portal for my mother's dog in Hawaii as well and it is really convenient. The staff is friendly, attentive and very prompt. The facilities are clean and well organized. The wait is usually not that bad (like at other larger VCA hospitals), so your pet won't get too antsy. If you are looking for a great place to take you pet, consider VCA Lindley. It's at the corner of Plano and Northwest Highway. Meow Meow!! Read Less
