We had a great experience at this VCA location. I am aware that they are a little more pricey than other vets in the area, but they were there for my dog in an urgent situation even though she was a new patient. They took great care of my dog who ate a toy, even though it was later in the afternoon they were quick to assess her and get her into surgery. The staff were always cheering her on during her care. They truly care about these animals. Thank you VCA, Brinley loves you all! We are now switching her care to this vet after the great experience we had.

Dr Echevarria and the rest of the staff are great. They were compassionate and listened to the concerns we had with our Great Dane, Barley. We got set up with the care plan and it’s already paid for itself with some treatments for parasites.
Their place is clean, in a good location and the staff are great. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone I know.

Very over priced , they wanted almost $500 for the treatment of my pet. I took her somewhere else, it only cost $100. This is my second vca clinic to try and from what I learned from my new vet they have been recommending extra procedures and medications when it's not needed. I will be reporting both to the vet. medical board for review and better business bureau.

Good - the staff is very friendly. The techs seem to really care about my dog. I'm poor about planning and they can usually make time for me to come in the same day - a rarity for vets in the area who think I'll plan having a vaccine or sick dog a week out.
Bad - the prices here are 50% higher than other vets in Dallas. I guess the Park Cities folks pay and allow them to price this way.
All in all, I keep going back.

Im new to the Dallas area...My little dog has had a history of medical problems for awhile now so I took her in to the VCA hospital on lovers lane. Dr E. and her entire staff went above and beyond the call of duty to care for my pet! Wait time was than 5 mins to be seen...All my questioned were answered accurately and the general treatment and care is top notch. I was quoted the cost prior to any work done and the final bill was actually a little less. Dr. E (and her team) are one of those rare finds!! My little dog got better care and treatment with Dr. E and the staff at VCA than I get myself at my own physicians office... No Kidding!!! I took my dog here last fall for rabies and bordetella shots. Bordetella shots are only good for 6 months. When I called again, seven months later, to schedule another bordetella shot, the vet wanted to charge me another well pet visit ($69) just to give my dog a shot. This is completely unheard of. Also, last year, I got a quote of more than double the normal charge elsewhere to get my dog's teeth cleaned. I will find someone else to care for my pets.

The Doctors and their staff are efficient and caring people. I brought my lab in for a teeth cleaning and they called me afterwards and told me how he did and when I could come and get him. Upon arrival, they ushered me into a room and the Doctor came in and spoke with me about my dogs procedure and gave me instructions for the next day. Everything was done with care. I even go a follow up call the next day to see how my little guy was feeling. My animals are treated to well, that I cannot imagine taking them anywhere else!

On top of that, the vaccinations I specifically said were needed were not even done!

We had a great experience at this VCA location. I am aware that they are a little more pricey than other vets in the area, but they were there for my dog in an urgent situation even though she was a new patient. Dr Echevarria and the rest of the staff are great. They were compassionate and listened to the concerns we had with our Great Dane, Barley. We got set up with the care plan and it’s already paid for itself with some treatments for parasites.
Their place is clean, in a good location and the staff are great. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone I know.
