Awesome place. I had to wait for a while because the vet was busy but other than that, the staff was very welcoming. The vet-nurse treated my kitty very gently. She didn't force him out of his crate. She convinced him of getting out with a treat. The vet is very very knowledgeable. I even asked him about the symptoms of a late cat who I couldn't save and gave me a possible diagnostic. My first visit to Four Paws was the heartbreaking time when I had to put my beloved Lady Tee down. Dr Cerelli is the kindest vet I have ever used. He took his time to talk to me before & truly understood the grief. Then waited until I was ready (as much as I could be). Now he cares for my little Foxy Lady. A precious little dog that had been abandoned on a country road close to my home. Just left the pet hospital after finding two lumps on her. Dr. Cerelli is a great doctor. My entire family and myself bring all of our cats and dogs to him. (We have 7 dogs and 4 cats plus strays that we take if necessary!) All of our pets are documented in the office system which is greatly convenient. The care our pets receive is wonderful! The only reason I put 1 less star for professionalism is because Four Paws is not afraid to show they care and speak to you as a natural human being instead of feeling the need to be coldly formalistic in professionalism. My dog needed serious attention due to the symptoms, I have been seeing. I called the vet, the receptionist (D), who answered my call was very polite throughout and had amazing customer service etiquette. They had no problem squeezing me within the last minute for an appointment. Once I got there, they immediately called us in without waiting any further within the 10 mins. My cat was very ill. I made an appointment for Thursday at 4 pm, but the night prior her symptoms worsened, so I just walked in with her without calling ahead at 8 Thursday morning and I was helped right away. The staff was very kind and reassuring while I filled out my paperwork in tears over my kitty's condition. The doctor treated my cat very kindly and explained what is happening to her very clearly. Love Dr. Cerelli and his staff! When I moved back to the Valley with my new Aussie I started looking at reviews for different clinics and picked his for that reason. Since then Rex and myself have always been treated with great service and care. About 2 weeks ago my usually hyperactive Aussie was vomiting over and over again, wouldn't eat, drink, or move. I honestly thought I was going to lose him. But after several tests and exams that came back negative he suggested we do a Barium treatment. Turns out he had a peach pit stuck in his intestine. He performed surgery, removed it and had my baby back after a day! In all that time he made himself available through email and reassured me he was only a phone call away after the surgery if we needed him. Our dog, Julio, was missing for two weeks. He was finally found but was weak and lethargic. We took Julio to see Dr. Cerelli the morning after he was found. Julio was seen right away and was treated with great care! The doctor diagnosed Julio with an infection, cuts, and muscle soreness after a thorough exam and tests, and the medications and supplement Julio received have him on the road to recovery already! BEWARE!!!!! I advise everyone with a pet who you love that please DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! I took my cat for a simple surgery (declaw & neutuer) and I got the most cold hearted call saying he had a heart attack and passed away and my cat was perfectly healthy. They did blood work and everything, I would give this business no stars but I had to put something. And I still had to pay $500 dollars what a cold hearted rip off. Read Less

DO NOT GO TO THIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL. Our family had an English Bulldog, 14 months old, that unfortunately died due to the NEGLIGENCE of Dr. Cerelli. Routine blood work to verify whether or not she had heart-worm showed that she tested positive for Ehrlichiae. THE DOCTOR TOLD US TO DO NOTHING, to not worry about it and to only worry if she looses appetite. These test results were recieved back in April. This week, she showed a loss in energy and in appetite, so we took her to the vet only to find out her kidneys were already failing. DUE TO THIS INFECTION GOING UNTREATED. This doctor failed to tell us of proactive measures and now she is dead. He couldn't even apologize and told us that she would have died anyway. 4 Paws has taken care of my two cats since I moved to the Valley 3 years ago. I have never had any problems with anyone in the office. Dr Cerelli has been great with the ""kids"". Any time I take them in before they leave the office he comes out and chats with me about what he did. His office staff have always been extremely friendly and know me by name. I am extremely pickie when it comes to vets and I can honestly say that I would recommend Dr Cerelli and 4 Paws to anyone. I adopted a dog and Four Paws was on the list of approved clinics to get animals fixed. Dr. Cerelli did the surgery. A few days after she came home, she jumped on the sofa and her abdominal area opened up. Her intestines spilled out! I was in shock. .
