Do not take your pet here if you love it. The Vet did not like that I knew more than him and refused to see clear signs until animal died. He is pompous and inept. He was also dressed inappropriately...
Do not take your pet here if you love it. The Vet did not like that I knew more than him and refused to see clear signs until animal died. He is pompous and inept. He was also dressed inappropriately for his line of work. Do not come here if you want your animal to die AND be charged 140$!!!

We had travelled for 9 years in our motorhome and been to various vets. We settled here in Edinburg in 10/2007 and asked around for a good vet for our 3 little dogs. We were referred to Edinburg-McAllen Veterinary Clinic and are we glad we were. We have been very happy with the competency, service and friendliness of the doctors and staff. They've seen our babies through sicknesses and also just the checkups and shots. In all instances they treated our pups and us with the same great service. We would recommend this Clinic to you and anyone else who'd ask us.

I took my sick puppy who hadn't eaten in 4 days. I was impressed by the quick attention and reasonable prices. After the injections given my puppy began showing signs of improvement immediately. By 2 am that morning she was eating! They saved my puppy....I was sooooo happy. The following day I took my other puppy for her vaccinations. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Since I moved back to Mission, TX 3 and 1/2 years ago, I have taken my seven dogs(six are Shih Tzu and one is German Shephard) to this Animal Vet Clinic and will never take my dogs anywhere else. Doctor, Alberto Garza, is the most knowledgeable veterinarian. He and his staff are very nice to the pets, pet owners, and pet owners' pocket books. Previously, I had made some calls to Vet clinics all over town then extended these calls to some in McAllen, then Edinburg, TX where Dr Alberto Garza and his staff work from. By what I have experienced, I know I and my husband will continue taking our animals to his clinic.

One summer I needed to board my pet. It was a last minute thing. I went to petsmart...I called local pet boarding businesses. Either the prices were unreasonable or Petsmart wanted to charge worm shot...
One summer I needed to board my pet. It was a last minute thing. I went to petsmart...I called local pet boarding businesses. Either the prices were unreasonable or Petsmart wanted to charge worm shots. I decided to call my vet. Usually they ask for a 2 week in advance for boarding, but when I told my Vet about me leaving right away... no questions asked and they boarded my pet right away. I am so convinced that this business has the best interest in the OWNERS of pets. Thank You for your help when I needed it!

Do not take your pet here if you love it. The Vet did not like that I knew more than him and refused to see clear signs until animal died. He is pompous and inept. He was also dressed inappropriately for his line of work. Do not come here if you want your animal to die AND be charged 140$!!!

We had travelled for 9 years in our motorhome and been to various vets. We settled here in Edinburg in 10/2007 and asked around for a good vet for our 3 little dogs. We were referred to Edinburg-McAllen Veterinary Clinic and are we glad we were. We have been very happy with the competency, service and friendliness of the doctors and staff. They've seen our babies through sicknesses and also just the checkups and shots. In all instances they treated our pups and us with the same great service. We would recommend this Clinic to you and anyone else who'd ask us.

I took my sick puppy who hadn't eaten in 4 days. I was impressed by the quick attention and reasonable prices. After the injections given my puppy began showing signs of improvement immediately. Usually they ask for a 2 week in advance for boarding, but when I told my Vet about me leaving right away... no questions asked and they boarded my pet right away.
