Dr. Harvey is very knowledgeable and helpful with my animals. I've been coming here for my animals care for over 2 years now and am always satisfied with the care my animals receive. She never recommends anything extra or makes you feel like you need to have unnecessary tests done. However, she is always late to appointments. I mean if you schedule an appointment for one time there is no way you're not waiting at least 30-45 minutes after your appointment time to be seen. It's really frustrating. When I first started coming here it wasn't that bad but lately it's every time I come it takes at least 30 minutes, sometimes as long as an hour to be seen. Truly disappointing Read Less

My cat was attacked by a dog on Tuesday, 3/28/17, and the first clinic I could think of was Dr. Harvey's clinic. I've heard nothing but good things about Country Club Animal Clinic, and they're amazing in my book. My husband called them to let them know we were going to bring in our cat. When I brought her in, reception was very nice; I was noticeably panicked and a bit annoyed that there was a slight miscommunication, but it was corrected immediately. They are a busy clinic, but they do their very best to be with you asap and help you in any way they can. Rihannon and Dr. Harvey took me in almost immediately (Dr. Harvey had surgeries to do but it was very nice of her to look at my kitty on such short notice). She was very honest about possibilities for my cat and made sure I was drawn up estimates on my options. In the end, I decided to put my cat down. The staff was extremely compassionate and kind, which made this whole process much easier. They let me sit with my kitty and have time with her. It's a vet clinic, so expect to pay for services (can't stand when people complain that they had to pay for a service). Overall, 100% would recommend and go to them again. I received my Harmony's ashes yesterday (4/6/17) with a little paw print plaque, which they decorated very nicely. Thank you so much for your kindness, your service, and compassion. I'm so glad I ended up in your lobby and that y'all helped my Harmony pass as peacefully as possible. My wife and I brought our cockatiel Zachary to Country Club Animal Clinic to treat a gnarly feather cyst. Dr. Harvey and her team have given Zachy the care and consideration he deserves. Having moved to the Southwest from Rhode Island, we felt at a loss to get our parrots (2 cockatiels, 2 green cheek conures) the healthcare support all captive parrots need. Having found Dr. Harvey, we finally feel that we have a trustworthy and talented vet to rely upon. Veterinarians sit at the complex intersection of animals' wellbeing, their human companions' emotions and all the associated financial baggage. I bring my little Jasper the terrier there for regular annual exams and vaccines and when I was told he needed dental work I was terrified. He is an older dog and we haven't gone through an anesthetic procedure before so I was worried. The staff at Country Club was helpful, friendly, informative, and helped calm mommas nerves! Jasper came out happy and healthy with a bright shiny smile! They explained how the entire procedure went and was sure to ensure Jasper's safety and comfort the entire time. Dr. Harvey has been taking care of our dogs since 1997. Our dachsie, Wolfie I made it to almost 17 thanks in large part to her focus on homeopathic medicine as he started to show signs of aging. He had excellent quality of life and when we reached the point when it was time to end that life (kidney failure), Dr. Harvey and the entire office really turned it into a very caring experience. I've had a couple health scares with my two rabbits and Dr. Harvey and the staff have always been accommodating and helpful! The professionalism of everyone at Country Club Animal Clinic is amazing. My calls are always answered and I always get frequent and timely updates from the staff. The frank and matter-of-fact care that my two rabbits get is very refreshing. I feel that the doctor offers level headed advice without jumping to conclusions and is willing to discuss various treatment options and answer questions. Still newish to the area I had no idea where to turn when I was pretty sure my gerbil had a tumor on his stomach area. I called on Friday July 1st to get an appt. They were able to squeeze me in on Tuesday the 5th. The staff was so helpful and had my paperwork pulled up ready for me before I even told them my name. I was called back on time and didn't take long after the tech had gotten his weight and such for the vet to come in. Even though my gerbil bit the tech she was super nice about it and the vet confirmed my fear. I was reassured that he should be ok despite his age (but that all surgery has risk of course) and told me that I should be able to get him in for surgery this week. The tech came in and said they could squeeze him in today. From appt start time to bringing him home with all meds and instructions, only 2 hours. These people really care about the pets that are brought in and now I know where I'm bringing my pups in for care :-)Read Less

This place is absolutely terrible. My dog was misdiagnosed TWICE! Brought my sweet fur baby in today because her eyes are rolled back into her head and stuck in that position...Naturally, any pet owner would be "emotional" about this type of thing. Whoever the female doctor is here wouldn't see my dog because of my "emotions." What kind of care is that?! Obviously no regard to an animal that is in need of care, especially an animal one of their vets has "treated." You're a vet. In El Paso. Get over yourself and do your job by TREATING animals and diagnosing them properly by performing proper diagnostic tests. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, these people have zero empathy and it's an embarrassment to even call them Veterinarians. Read Less

Always had terrible bedside manner. Dr. Nancy Harvey couldn't even call us, she had her techs call. Terribly burned my dog during a procedure (negligent), and my dog had to stay at their office for 6 weeks. She then realized she could cut out his wound (size of whole backside), and suture the two side of the skin together. He now has anxiety. Additionally, her prices are through the roof.
