I'm a patient, understanding person but I will NEVER bring any of my pets here again and will warn everyone I can from letting them care for your furry family members. They are incapable of restraining pets for the simplest procedures. My lab mix, about 40 lbs, escaped their "professional" restraining methods from not one but two techs and not only within the exam room but escaped the room and jumped onto the front desk until she reached me. She's a fearless, street smart dog who is scared of nothing. I wasn't allowed in the room with them so who knows what they did to scare her. There were MANY unsatisfactory experiences but the final straw was when my other dog was not ready to be woken from a surgical procedure after she was attacked by another dog but they were eager to go home and did a fast wake up with (again) improper restraining methods. She woke up in a panic and dazed from the meds, she tore her stitches and I walked in to her IN A POOL OF HER OWN BLOOD. They did a half ass job of patching up her torn stitches then insisted she was fine and forced me out of the office with my still bleeding dog. My current vet who I took her to the day after the event mentioned above was appauled at the state they sent her home in AND the uneven stitching they did to seal up her leg from the dog bite. DO NOT take your animal here for care. They speed through every appointment and don't truly care about the well being of your dog. Needless to say, I'll be reporting them to the Texas Board of Veterinary Examiners. Read Less

We all love our pets and for the best care, I know I can rely on the best possible care at the Crossroads Animal Hospital. 3 years ago my dog injured his back. He was seen by 3 other Vets in the East Side area where we live and they even suggested that he was better off if I said my goodbys. It was than that I heard of Dr. Jim as I call him. Immediately he took him under his care as if it was his own pet. He had surgery, he stayed with him until late at night and I am happy to say that I actually witnessed a "Miracle". I recommend Crossroads on a regular basis and I travel from Northeast El Paso and have for the last 10+ years! I love Dr. Misty Solis as do my fur babies! All of the staff and techs there are great! The other vets are good too but Dr. Solis has cared for my dogs since the get go. She recently treated one of my rescue dogs through heartworm treatment and he just tested negative to my relief! We have taken our pets (one cat and a whole lot of dogs) to crossroads for years. Friendly and competent staff. They are always very nice to both the humans and pets that come through their doors. She was so sweet and gentle with my boy, and was very informative and helpful in diagnosing the cause of pain, and prescribed him meds to help him feel better. This is honestly the BEST place to take your animals. My puppy had a congenital hernia that the animal emergency clinic was going to charge me $5,000.00 to operate on, luckily my puppy was able to hold off long enough to be able to be seen by Dr. Lenox who not only educated my mom and I but also did the surgery at an extremely reasonable cost. Two months ago my puppy fell out of a truck moving 50 miles an hour. Dr. Solis removed his spleen in emergency surgery and discovered that he had a fractured pelvis. While Dozer was staying at Crossroads recovering, we were called 1-2 times every day by Dr. Solis to be updated on his condition. The price was so very reasonable, and the level of service from the entire staff was truly unmatched from my many years of vet clinic and animal hospital visits around the nation with our family pets. Dr. Mark Lenox was and is the best veterinarian i have ever come across..a lot of times when i go to the vet, it is rush rush and i get other pets need to be seen as well BUT, that does not mean you have to rush out your current patient to see the other. With Dr. Mark, he believes in being thorough. He was very patient, he explained everything very well and he made my baby boy feel ten times better than when i brought him in. Dr. Mark is so amazing. It is like he has the magic hands. When i brought my 8 week old german shepherd puppy in because he wasn't eating, he was loosing weight, he had really bad diarrhea and was so lethargic. I was so scared that i was about to loose him. Dr. Mark automatically started running tests to eliminate that it wasn't parvo. He then did a stool sample test and he came back positive for giardia. He quickly administered some things to him and while he did that, he informed me about the dangers of giardia. I became knowledgable and in all of this, he told jokes and made me feel comfortable helping me to smile and not freak out about my boys illness. Before i left that exam room, my boy actually started getting better, he actually started eating and seemed more lively. I did not feel like i was just another patient. He made me feel like he truly cared about my understanding of what was going on and the well being of my baby. I believe most doctors need to be like him. Slow down, make sure the owner understands everything. Because knowledge is key in helping and keeping your fur baby healthy. These folks saved my cat today. He had a large, compacted amount of stool, and he could have died. They got him all cleaned up and he is okay now! Dr. Weich was stern with speaking about my kitty boy's well being, but he wasn't rude. I appreciate that. Albert the vet tech was so wonderful! He made it all so much easier. Where to begin! Dr. Koschmann is an incredible, amazing, caring, compassionate man! my dog lost all type of mobility in his hind legs. I was devastated! We were referred to him by some North East clinic. After having my Chihuahua all hoped up on pain meds, steroids and making him throw up I didn't know what else to do. Dr. Koschmann to the rescue!! He was able to determine what was wrong with my baby in a matter of seconds by looking at an X-Ray all those incompetent "Veterinarians" couldn't find!! He performed surgery on my dog and you can tell he cared. He is so amazing at what he does. I have yet to see any other Vet have the experience and love for animals like he does! After surgery he was so caring about my dog walking again!! He saved my dog from having to live a limited life! On another occasion, when it wasn't an emergency I went with my dog for his back again when he was experiencing pain. Dr. Lenox I don't have a positive thing to say about. He treated us like idiots, treated the situation like it wasn't serious and charged me for temporary relieve of my dog. I can't say he's the worst I've seen but he was definitely on the other end of the scale that Dr. Koschmann is on. Anyway, TEAM Dr. Koschmann!! He is such an awesome doctor! Living in the Northeast, this office is about 25 mins from me, but the trip is totally worth it (excluding any type of emergency,! All of the staff I have encountered have can pleasant. My personal favorite is Dr. Misty (Callaham) Solis, who has truly been so compassionate, caring and helpful about my 13 year old dog. Best of all, she is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. All the vets are wonderful, although I use ask for one of the female veterinarians when making an appointment. Always treated with respect by all front desk personnel. Emergencies are worked in. I have been going to this facility for years. When I had to put one of my animals down due to age and illness, all the staff were wonderful in their handling and treatment of my pet family member and myself. My only complaint would be I would like separate waiting areas for cats and dogs...but that is my preference. Read Less
