General Info
Dr. Garza opened East El Paso Animal Hospital in 1986. Our goal here at East El Paso Animal Hospital has always been to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and veterinary health care. The East El Paso Animal Hospital team displays an unrivaled commitment to our clients through continuing education, technological advances in veterinary medicine and service, and most importantly, administering compassionate care to all pets entrusted to us.
We are under construction but still in business right now. We will move into a brand-new building in June of this year!
We have five doctors on staff: Dr. Orlando Garza Jr., DVM; Dr. Carlyn Duchoquette, DVM; Dr. Luis Terrazas, DVM; Dr. Lauren Zeigler, DVM; Dr. Stephanie Hunt, DVM; and Dr. Caroline Rojas, DVM.
We are open M-F 8:00-5:30 (Doctor out from 12-2)
and Saturday from 8:00-12:00

The veterinarian was competent but there is no customer service and they do not value their clients time. They had me and my cat wait for over an hour and a half and the whole time Annabeth was shaking. They should treat their clients and the fur babies better.

This was our first experience visiting a vet and I was very worried at first. My dog is very territorial and does not go with others very easily yet Dr. Hunt took great care of him and would give me frequent calls to keep up us updated on our dog's condition as he had to have surgery and stay the night. He has healed excellently from his hernia surgery! All around the staff was awesome and friendly especially with my hundreds of questions. 100% recommended!

Dr.Garza is truly one of the best doctors i have ever encountered. He truly cares for the well being of your animal/family member and will take his time explaining everything walking you through it and answering every call. My dog unfortunately had cherry eye on both eyes and surgery went amazing as well as the results. Highly recommend this place to anyone with a pet will definitely be a lifelong customer. My puppy Blu approves this message.

I can't thank Dr. Wolf enough for discovering that my Pluto had a broken jaw. Unfortunately he was misdiagnosed by not only 1 but 3 vets. The difference between all 3 vets and Dr. Wolf was that she listened to every symptom that we described to her. I loved how sweet and attentive she was with us and Pluto. After suffering from a broken jaw for nearly 3 months (because of the other vets misdiagnosis), his jaw has fully healed and he is back to being his old crazy self. The facility is nice and clean the staff were also polite.

We cannot say enough great things about East El Paso Animal Hospital. We recently adopted two Chihuahuas from a shelter. This is our first time owning pets, so we were obvious new parents and very anxious about keeping our pups safe and healthy. We always see Dr. Hunt, she is truly wonderful. She is always quick to return phone calls and makes us feel very at ease. We love the flexible hours of the vet. The wait for walk in appts isn't typically too long. You can also get the dogs groomed and boarded here. We will never take our pets anywhere else. Highly recommended!

By far the best vet I've ever worked with. Dr. Gifford is amazing, sweet, and caring. The staff are all very friendly and make you feel welcome. They make sure to be very attentive to your pets needs and they answer any and all questions with 100% honesty. I'm glad I chose the East El Paso animal hospital.

We have been taking our english bulldogs here for a year now. We absolutly love the staff and vets! Dr Hunt delivered our two new bully babies. She did a wonderful job! As did the staff that were envolved in the care of the pups. They all love our dogs and our dogs love going to see everyone there. The offices are always very clean and the staff are always very friendly and professional. I have recomended them to several friends, and they all love the care their pets receive. If you want your pet loved and well cared for in a great environment, then bring them here! They also have really great prices! I can't say enough about them!!!!

On Sunday I took my dog to put him to sleep. He had a large tumor on his right back leg. The decision was hard and painful, but the Vet made us understand and feel a bit better by explaining it was the most humane thing to do. We were referred by a staff member from the dog pound. This was my first time going and won't be my last. The staff was extremely nice and understanding!!! Prices were fair, the environment was so soothing, and welcoming! Thank you for your service!!! Very very happy although the circumstances weren't the best. I now have my dog Terminator ashes at home and his beautiful paw print. Thank you for the service

This was our first experience visiting a vet and I was very worried at first. My dog is very territorial and does not go with others very easily yet Dr. Hunt took great care of him and would give me frequent calls to keep up us updated on our dog's condition as he had to have surgery and stay the night. I can't thank Dr. Wolf enough for discovering that my Pluto had a broken jaw. Unfortunately he was misdiagnosed by not only 1 but 3 vets. The difference between all 3 vets and Dr. Wolf was that she listened to every symptom that we described to her. I loved how sweet and attentive she was with us and Pluto.
