We recently changed our vet services when we adopted our 2 Dachshund puppies. The lady that we got the puppies from was using this service. They always try to find ways to save you money. After taking her to grooming at petsmart she got very ill don't know if that's what caused her to tremble and awefull bad breath but you're ❤ and carefully attention got my little girl better. They were really helpful and caring for the animals when checking up on them, they did take a bit long to get through but it was during a weekend when i visited and they were ubder staffed. Overall great place to take your pets. Read Less

We took our dog for surgery and the staff was great. They explained everything from beginning to end and made my dog feel comfortable and my family feel at ease. We are 3 dayspost surgery care and we have had positive results so far. Read Less

Would not recommend their boarding service at all. Our lab has been boarded his whole life, but came back with a large raw spot in his nose from nuzzling the kennel. They left us a message telling us the situation so we called for more details. The receptionist didn’t know what was going on and took a message, which we never received a call back on. We cut vacation short to pick our dog up and the staff told me sorry they were too busy to return our call. When I asked how long they let him out during the day, I was told 15 minutes because it was a holiday. The raw spot was noticed on Saturday and they let it get worse before calling on Tuesday, still charging us $30 for ointment. Zero empathy from the staff, yet my dog has a scar for life now. They don’t let the dogs out or give them the attention they need, worst boarding service I’ve ever used. Read Less

Oh my god were should i start. I would of put ZERO stars tbh. My baby puppy was 1month she was only a baby. She needed help to breath. But all they said was we need to give her oxygen and quickly told me the price 100.00 then told us what was wrong with my puppy, She had pneumonia and she was critical. I told the doctor flat out, i dont have money and if she could do payments. She said No payments, the puppy needs to be hospitalized or she wont make it through the day she will die maybe at night. I swear to god this people have no heart what so ever! If i had the money like some people have, in a heart beat i would of tooken her to the other clinic were they charge 45.00. Here in this clinic costs 50.00 just so they can see youre puppy or dog etc. All this ladies were wanting was money, and offering a credit card i could apply and trying to give me a guilty conscience this animal is not going to make it. Its like she's a baby help her! Ill pay just help her! and even they wanted me to resigned her to them, give up on her an let her go. I swear everything was wrong and dnt have a heart what so ever not even because she was a baby puppy my Kiseki which meant Miracle. She passed away on 5/14/17 on Mother's Day.. Im going to leave this here so they can see what they did, how single handedly let my puppy die... Money Money Money... Thats all they were letting me know, they couldn't tell me how she got this, help me and will pay everything in payments.. i know i wasnt going to qualify for their Credit Card ...i really needed help and didnt get it. Im so disappointed , what happened to the doctors that would do anything to help a person out and help a baby puppy that was just starting her life. Now she's dead... For the Emergency Stabilization was 100.00 For the Routine X-Ray was 95.00 For the Office visit and Exam (Saturday & Sun.) That was 50.00 For the Oxygen Therapy per day that was 60.00 They wanted to add Nebulization Injections - 2meds Fluids, SC, LR I had to pay from my rent 305.00 And to top it off, Get this. They said will give you the X-Ray so you can send it to youre doctor but its going to cost you 5.00 dollars. Its like what the hell! I just paid 95.00 lady! So yeah im never going there ever, ever again. Those people only want money they dont care bout your puppy. So if you have the money, then yay! The visit will be awesome. Good prices and great service! I've been to this office 3 or 4 times while in El Paso, every single time I was impressed with this office and staff! I recently took my Boxer in due to some health issues and they took great care of him and listened to my budget. I've been to plenty of other offices and have never quite felt they listened, sure can't say that about this staff. I love i took my puppy LUCKY when he was 5 months he had parvo. A lady left it in the parking lot of Kmart saying that he was free and he is chihuahua put in the floor and took off. I was planing to give him his vaccines It was too late when I was going to take him to vet he got sick. I it is has lower prices than other clinics . He survived he was sick for four days he got good care and the staff they were friendly. Read Less

My little boston terrier was super sick with parvo, didnt think she would make it thru, vet suggested i should leave her hospitalized for a couple of days and i am so glad i listened to her my baby is back to being healthy. My favorite tech was amanda:) she would explain everything to my husband and i. And didnt seem like she was just after our money like some of the other ones. I was just a little dissapointed because after my princess being hospitalized and taking her home on a sunday because she wouldnt have any supervison they never called me to see how she was doing like other vets ive taken her too. The staff are friendly and professional. I was there to have my dogs ears checked and the lady next to me had a ferret. She had to put him down due to cancer. The tech came , picked up the ferret, and came back about 30 min later. The place was filled with patients. The caring tech came back and calm and ever so softly explained how things were done and she wrapped the baby ferret in a blanket. These ladies have to deal with death everyday. I didn't realize that. They can go from having to put down a beloved friend to saving a beloved friend. Sometimes I hear them laughing and I had to say to my self, they know not to stay in an abyss of great darkness. They have helped me everytime. Dr. Robinson is phenomenal. If I could, I would give this clinic zero stars. Let's start from the beginning.. I walked in and was told just one moment, they'd be right with me. No biggy. It was then I realized, they wanted me to wait one moment so all the ladies up front could finish the conversation about some attractive man that comes into the clinic. Nice, but my dog is ill. A hand, maybe? During the exam, the Vet Tech did 80% of it and I briefly spoke with the actual Vet. Did I mention the Vet Tech was extremely rude? Fine, whatever. Until the Vet told the Vet Tech he wants her to handle my dog because she has more time than he does? All in all, she found nothing. Shocker. She couldn't answer any of my questions, she would just change the subject. Nothing was resolved. 'My dog is still sick tonight, and we left the clinic with one shot. No antibiotics, no suggestions for home, nothing but one shot. A shot that didn't work. Frustrated I wasted my money on this place. I felt like I was more informed by searching my dogs illness on Google than coming here. I'll never be back. Read Less

My cat was very sick on a Friday afternoon and my usual vet couldn't give me an appointment until the next day. So I called Eastwood Animal Clinic. They were very helpful, called my other vet for my cat's records, and told us to come in right away. The office looked very nice, the front desk staff were sweet and I could tell they really love animals. They saw my cat much quicker than I thought since we were a walk in. Dr Robinson was so caring and assured me she would take good care of my kitty. After a few shots, some fluids, and only about an hour after I arrived, I was sent on my way with an antibiotic and a bill that was surprisingly low. The office visit was much less than my usual vet charged for an appointment. My cat was much better even that night. I called 2 days later (On Sunday!) with a few questions and the girl that answered the phone was very helpful and knowledgeable. My cat made a full recovery and I am so grateful for Eastwood Animal Clinic. I have definitely found my new vet. Thank you!! Adding onto my prior review, and once again I am impressed with Eastwood Animal Clinic! I adoped a puppy and she was very sick the next day. Took dog in because he wasnt eating. They said they felt an object in his abdomen. Rushed him to xray. Said they confirmed object. Gave him laxatives and kept for observation. Days and hundreds of dollars later it was just gas and he was not eating because the next door neighbors dog was in heat. They just want to take the most money out of you. Read Less

Called the vet clinic to see if they had someone capablr of trimming my childs sugar gliders nails. Their response was "sure bring them in" after driving from the other side of town we get there and were told it would be $14 a piece. Moments latr we were told that the doctor wouldnt do it because it will kill them . What a lousy clinic. Read Less

We would like to extend a big thank you and much appreciation to the staff, especially to Dr. Gibson and Carlee who helped us tremendously with our dog. We had a scary incident occur to our dog and the staff were quick to attend us and render aid to our blue heeler. Staff was patient, understanding and explained every procedure that was being conducted. The facility quoted $95 for a spay then charged $214--taking advantage of an elderly lady.They refused to negotiate and threatened to call the police. Well this is incorrect and a "threat". Rest assured, after using this facility for approx 15 years, we shall not return! Read Less

I carefully chose this clinic to take my bird to get his beak clipped. I arrive 30 min after having spoken to the receptionist and driving, only to be told that they were sorry but that one of the workers was on vacation and they did not have anybody to help the vet hold my bird. I had called 3 days before and was told to come in at that day and time, and had called 30 minutes before arriving to double check, as I live on the opposite side of time. I worked my week's work schedule around this appointment, only to be told that they were sorry but it was an oversight and that I must understand. No accountability for their mistakes and nothing to offer me for wasting the only free time I had to have my bird seen this week. Now I have to wait until next week because I mistakenly chose to take my bird to this clinic. I recommend to save yourself the trip as they don't even care for their client's situation. My fur kids have always been given Great care there. I have 4 dogs and 3 different vets for their care. The techs have been just wonderful. Yes, we wait maybe a little longer than we should, but we (customers) don't know what is going on behind the closed doors. Another thing I don't care for is the parking. If you have a compact car your good. I don't, I drive a full size truck. Sometimes the parking is tight. Not their fault. If the waiting and parking was a big issue I wouldn't continue to go. my family and i have been going to EAC for over 30 years and have taken the best care of our dogs. Dr. Dashley had to perform special surgeries on both my mastiff and pit mix and did a fantastic job. Dr.Robinson has been to my house before to treat my 3 dogs before my current 2. they know how well and spoiled all of our dogs have been and are. i read some of the negative reviews that people have posted and sorry that you had some of those experiences. i know that when it has come to my dogs surgeries all the info you need is right there on the paperwork. if you need a cone for your pup you simply check yes and they'll provide one. they have had a few staff changes so its having to get the new staff to get to know you but from all the vet doctors there they have done an excellent job of taking care of my English Mastiffs and my rescue dogs. as for the after hour care Dr.Dashley has always been great and very truly passionate about taking care of my dogs. I've seen and heard of the horrible stories of many of the vets in this town and Eastwood animal clinic still takes care of my dogs the best. I've never had an issue ever getting my dogs in to them. when we got our 2nd mastiff and were coming back from albq,nm my wife called them to let them know we were coming back into town with a new puppy they told us to bring here first thing morning so we can make sure she has a clean bill of health plus they didn't charge us either. like i said for those who had a bad experience sorry that happened but these vets have done a fantastic job of taking care of mine and my families animals for 30plus years. I've been taking my pets here for years and I will continue to do so. I've taken in new puppies, gotten vaccines, issues were correctly diagnosed, had artificial insemination done on a bulldog, taken my parrot to get wings clipped, surgeries were always successful, and more. These doctors are great. But the most I'll appreciate is when I had to put my 12 year old Rottweiler to sleep after he was diagnosed with bone cancer. They did other tests to rule out other possible factors and dr. Robinson helped me with every step. Max was kindly put to sleep and they gave me the privacy and time that I needed. I heard other techs laughing in the next room and Dr. Robinson quickly handled it since they were possibly unaware. His ashes were given to me in a very "max" looking package. Hard to explain. I called and asked about information regarding the spaying rabbits and they were able to answer most of my questions. Fast forward a couple of weeks and one of my rabbits underwent this procedure. I had my Doberman puppy's ears done. I never once met the doctor and it was a drop of pick up and pay for a $400 procedure. His ears are done now and were cut way to short. I have brought him in for his tapings which have taken at least 6 hrs!!! The most recent took from open to close which is 9 hrs!!! They also muzzled him the moment he walked in and was muzzled for at least a 6 hr period. Staff are friendly when they feel like it. Would never recommend to anyone!!! Read Less

I called to make an appointment for my puppy to get her microchip and to be spayed. I also wanted to verify that they would except her puppy shots that were self administered. I was told by the clerk answering the phones they would be excepted but they did recommend to have them given by the vet and if I came in for an visit they would also transcribe them over so that I could get my puppy registered on base. I got there EARLY with two kids in cold winds on her appointment day and was turned away because they do not except self administered shots. I explained that I was told multiple times that they did and the guy I was talking to told me I was wrong and that he had been there 2 years and knew that no one would have told me that. So I will never take my puppy back to this clinic for a couple of reasons... 1. Not everyone is giving the same information. and 2. because of how rude I was spoke to at the desk when I wanted him to clarify that they did not except those shots. Read Less

I called over the weekend to find out what all I need to board my two dogs for one day. The receptionist was very rude and in a hurry to get me off the phone and said the three main shots and just bring in paperwork of proof. Well after they took my dogs back they asked of I had proof of flee and tick in last 30 days and I said no I had no idea I needed that. They said they would not board my dog unless I allowed them to give them the treatment. The baked me into a corner. I had no where else to take em and only had 30 min til I needed to be at work. I had no choice to pay 40 dollars for that treatment where at 20 dollar boardin day turned into a 60 dollar day and they claim they are not at fault and were not sorry and said either I get it or I don't. If they would have told me I needed that then I would have had it done prior for a lot less. They lie to get u in the door and take your money. I will not be taking my dogs back there at all. Doctor Robinson is splendid; I took Fifi to get her ears cleaned and to have a bath. This was my first time at Eastwood Animal Clinic and I will be back. The staff was quick to help, and they really know what a pooch needs to stay healthy. As far as price it is very low cost and fair, I hated going to clinics before because of the cost and how dirty the animal hospitals got. However, I promise you will love Eastwood animal clinic. Great Experience! I used to not take my pets to the vet because my german shepard Barney is a handful. The city of El Paso recently gave me a citation for not having my dog micro chipped. I called around and Eastwood animal clinic made it really easy. They did a house call and took care of it for me. Just today I picked up Barney from his surgery, I was nervous. But when I picked him up it was hassell free the staff was quick and attentive to my needs, and the new surgical laser they used really made a difference on his incision. I took my 2 year old dog to get a teeth cleaning and to spade. THey called me at my house and told me that they had to pull some teeth and in the process broke her jaw and ask for permission to wire her jaw. How could a 2 year puppy have bad teeth, enough to need to be pulled out!!! and broke her jaw!!! When I wen to pick her up they gave me the total and it ended up being $500 and I ask why and I couldn't a straight answer. I ask to see my puppy and they ask me why you need to see her? why wouldn't I want to see her they just broke her jaw! I ask to see the doctor and they said she had left. They took me to a room and I asked all kinds of questions like if I could see the x-ray or proof of how the teeth were rotten and they said no they didn't have any documentation of why they have to pull her, now i was speaking to another doctor . Then then said it was going to be an extra $300 dollars for check up and that I needed to pay that. I then said I would not the fact that I took my perfectly health dog to the vet and was given a puppy who looks and now acts like she might pass away soon. That doctor left and awhile later then another doctor came in to talk to me saying she was the doctor how did the procedure, and I asked her the same questions( the same doctor that had left for the day). The business threatened to call the cops on me because I wanted facts and paperwork of why they did this to my dog. I highly suggest going somewhere else because this all seems like a scam to me!
