El Paso Animal Emergency

El Paso, Texas
General Info
El Paso Animal Emergency in El Paso constructs environments where pets and their owners engage in healthcare through bodily movements tempo adjustments and energetic transitions observed throughout Texas residences. The initiation of exams does not occur through physical contact but rather through focused attention. Staff scrutinize tiny animal actions such as eye contact initiation, breathing patterns in response to voices, and movement tendencies toward or away from motion. Care then unfolds in parts. The examination of a pet's skin, coat, and joints relies on observing its anchoring behavior alongside leaning and stiffening motions. Internal reviews—teeth, abdomen, heart rhythm—follow when signs of trust appear. Owners deliver contextual information by detailing alterations in daily patterns along with new sounds their pets respond to and shifts in walking or feeding routines. El Paso Animal Emergency provides services ranging from initial exams and diagnostic procedures to complex energy balance strategies and detailed oral health planning alongside age-related joint tracking and illness-specific mapping. The temporal dimensions of timeframes shift according to behavioral patterns. Certain appointments progress rapidly where participants exchange unmistakable consent signals. Certain movements extend gradually through distinct phases—allowing the animal to understand each stage. Pets have access to quiet areas and pause zones where they can recalibrate before proceeding. The emphasis of post-visit care shifts towards the translation of household elements. Examine sleep patterns alongside routine reestablishment techniques while identifying silent cues such as familial withdrawal, appetite loss, and spatial guarding. Owners should track timing instead of focusing solely on symptoms. At what time does restlessness appear? During which segment of the day do hesitation levels reach their maximum? El Paso Animal Emergency assists families throughout El Paso and nearby Texas regions by recognizing behavior as a vibrant communication tool that pets use through everyday pauses, nudges, and shifts instead of during crises.

We just got our dog Leia from the Humane Society we were told she was spayed and stitches needed to heal. We talked to the lady on the phone before we went and she advised to bring her in just in cause the stitches would unravel more. We were greeted by the receptionist who was very nice and respectful of our question we had. Once we were taken back the vet or doctor came in and check our Leia. He was very rough with her pulling on her collar hard when she didn’t want to go to him. We told him she was in quarantine and doesn’t warm up to people. He said okay and continued to pull on her collar then told us her stitches weren’t nothing but he would take her back to evaluate her more. The second doctor came in and said that there is an opening and he would recommend closing it rather than waiting for it to become a larger problem. He told us that he wouldn’t charge us for the 3 staples, we don’t know why but we’re grateful for the generous offer. The total was a fairly good price considering the opening of her wound and no charge for the 3 staples. We had a great experience other than the vet being rough with Leia and pulling on her collar too hard. Read Less

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! They wanted to charge us over $3,000 and we were told to pay up front. We asked for some type of payment arrangement and were told otherwise! We took our chihuahua that had been attacked by a boxer. I literally thought he was not going to make it, he was bleeding a lot from his neck. As soon as I walked in the doors they took him in immediately. I was so pleased with the way we were treated. Dr. came in and gave a complete explanation of what needed to be done. Was it pricey I would say so, but I can see they do look after our pets. I received a call after 10:00 pm to give a status update. Thank God Frito did well and was able to come home the following morning. I thank you all for being caring to my Fiesty Little Frito. God bless you all. Read Less

Our sweet boy became very ill suddenly Friday evening. We rushed him to El Paso Animal Emergency where he was seen by a tech nearly immediately. After taking his basic vitals Caesar was rushed back for care. After an hour and many diagnostic tests the vet told us what we were probably facing. More testing later, and the diagnosis was sure. The vets presented our options, and didn't pressure us to decide one way or another. They gave us a lot of support and time to make our decision. All the staff was very compassionate. Never once did I doubt their abilities. Yes, it's pricey, but we've been to animal emergency hospitals in other states where it's just as pricey (or more!). You pay for the ability to be seen after-hours and have all the necessary expertise and diagnostic equipment on site and immediately available. As for those who complain about them wanting to be paid, please tell me the name of a vet who doesn't want to be paid? Vets have to make a living, too. None of us would be able to afford a human doctor that is capable of doing all the things vets do. I'm so grateful the staff at El Paso Animal Emergency was there when we needed them. Hopefully we won't need them again, but if we do, I won't hesitate to take my dogs there. Read Less

My dog was hit by a car yesterday around 5:30 pm. It's a 100 mile drive to El Paso, no vets here. This place wouldn't help my dog! $521 for an exam and x-rays! $549 to keep comfortable overnight. Who can afford that? I asked for pain medicine to take him home and keep him comfortable until morning: $157 for them to never touch him and give me 7 tablets for pain. Families should not have to go in debt to treat their pets. This place only wanted me to fill out an application for Carecredit at 28% interest! Then they labeled my dog "aggressive" because he was bitey. He's got two broken legs and he's in pain! Terrible terrible place.Update: His front legs are not broken. I would never use this place. Not even in an emergency. I can take better care of my dog at home. Read Less

Took our 4 yr old boxer in for vomiting and blood in her stool. They are kind people working there. Treated us and our girl very well. All the tests they wanted to do did not seem to have anything to do with her having blood in her bowels. Testing for parvo when she's already had her vaccines, wanted to test for a disease that's found more common up north in animals, dehydration even after being told she drinks like a fish. Not 1 test did they offer was to check her bowels. Even checking her tummy, they said it could be an upset stomach. Doing a blood test, when she's already pooping blood made no sense. They checked her out and we just wanted to have the antibiotics and take her home. After leaving, however, we took her to the side of the building to let her "go". She literally shot out blood out of her rear. I am grateful for the antibiotics and the kindness that was given.Read Less

I'm going to start by saying if you do here it is going to cost you a pretty penny. That being said it is an emergency vet clinic so what do you expect. I had to take my dog here today due to a very deep cut on her paw. Today is mothers day and I were desperate to find a vet opened after several were closed. They let me wait in the car as my dog was bleeding every where and as soon as they came to get us they took my dog right back to get seen. The vet Dr. Case was very nice and professional. 3 hours later I got to take my dog home all fixed. While I would take my dog to a different vet just due to price of being an emergency center, I have no complaints at all and am very happy with all the staff. Read Less

They don't even deserve a star. After giving my dog a full examination and everything coming out normal they just discharged him and sent him home. Even though he had obvious signs of sickness!!! And they told me he was good since all his tests came out good. Couple of hours later he got seizures and past away that same day under the care of another doctor who found toxins, unfortunately it was too late already. But how could they not even care enough to try and figure out what was making him so sick!! And on top of that I paid 950$!! And the doctor never came out to talk to us! The most awful place, we need to all make sure they open another 24 hour place! This is ridiculous it's the only one open. They don't care about your pet!! Read Less

Horrible, the staff is not friendly, they are very rude especially the front desk clerk. I took a stray in that I found lost that was injured badly, hoping they can help him ASAP due to he was bleeding everywhere. They couldn't help because supposly I would be responsible to pay for the vet bills. I told them clearly that the dog wasn't mine and that I found him hurt roaming around a gas station in the far East side. They looked at me said "well we can put him down" I said "can't you guys see what you can do for him", they still wouldn't help. I waiting for almost an hour and half to see if they would get the dog some help, till they decided to say that they will take him in and help him. My experience with them were rude and awful!!! If I ever had a pet, I would never recommend this place to anyone!!!! They need better staff with matters! Read Less

I called because I wanted to take my dog in for an emergency c-section. The lady sounded like she didn't want us to go in honestly. We said that she took over two hours to deliver the next puppy, that it was stuck. She said that was totally normal and to wait longer. Then I asked about pricing 4 hours later when I called back (because the same puppy was still stuck!) They said $130 just to see her. And upward of five thousand dollars for a c-section. I asked about payment options and they don't have any! I don't know who has five thousand to dish out straight out of pocket but I didn't. I have had my two cats at this emergency center on two different occasions and for different reasons. Each time I was dealt with in a very professional manner and both times my cats were treated properly and healed quickly. In my opinion, it is the best place in town to take your pets. It is more expensive as it is an emergency room and only open from 5:30 PM until 8 AM but I feel it is well worth the extra charge to get my pets treated by the best veterinarians in town . If I'm going to this vet, obviously something is very wrong. So it's not my favorite place to go, but I'm super appreciative that this after-hours vet is available in the area and that for the most part the staff all respond fast. The last two times I brought a dog here it was for our young-at-heart pup, Max. The first was after he had a small episode. The vet was quick to check him out and give us our best options from there. Since nothing could really be done immediately, we decided to take him to a regular vet the following day. I think this might be a pretty common decision for instances like this because their prices are incredibly high compared to most other vets you will find in the area (but again, they're an after-hours vet so pricing is understandable). The second time was actually to have Max put down. He unfortunately didn't make it to the vet so the second we walked in, we were given options on everything from revival and treatment to cremation. The staff acted quickly with giving us our options and we were able to make the best decision. We decided on cremation. One of the nicest things they did for us was allow us time in a room to say goodbye to Max. There was a small fee for the cremation and that was that, they took care of everything else from there. A month down the road we got a small package from the vet, it was a mold of Max's paw print. Very heartwarming. Our dogs go to a vet that makes house calls, but El Paso Animal Emergency Center will always be our first option when it comes to emergencies simply because they have the capability of treating anything at anytime. This vet is located on the Eastside so a little far for some (like us), but as long as you can transport your pet or at least contact the vet and get the best info on what you should do, you'll be in good hands. I recently moved here, and the next thing on my list was to get a new vet for my cat.  But before I had a chance to my cat showed signs of being very sick in the late evening. She was having problems urinating and was in an out of the litter box repeatedly and the white of her eyes were pink. I was so distressed and freaking out!  I searched the net hoping to find a vets office opened that late at night and came across this emergency center and it was opened!! I took a chance and boy did it pay off!  She stayed overnight and they ran a number of tests and x-rays. The staff and service was excellent and I was informed in detail directly by the doctor  about my cats condition. She took her time explaining the circumstances unlike some doctors who just want to get it over with and on to the next. They actually took an interest in my cats condition! When I picked up my cat the following day I noticed her eyes were clear again and she was active and so much better. She is up in age and on meds with a kidney condition, but she is herself again. I do not care about the cost. You cannot put a price on life! I am so appreciative that the doctor got to the bottom of it and now I know exactly what is going on and my cat is being treated and out of pain!! OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE AND THRIVE OFF DESPERATE ANIMAL LOVERS!!! $96.00 just for the consultation which consisted of checking my poor sick dogs temperature, heartbeat and pulled a little on her skin (exam time was less than 2 minutes). Gave no opinion as to what was wrong and wanted a heart-worm test and MRI for a cost of $750.00. If we agreed to the tests, an overnight stay would have been in the thousands. I would definitely NOT recommend this veterinary as they are heartless and determined to take advantage of people. Its understandable to charge a little higher since they are open only after hours (5PM-8:00AM), but $750.00 for a couple of tests?? Ridiculous!! My only complaint is that I waited for a little while as my dog dripped the occasional drop of blood on their floor. However, I believe they had two dead dogs (one they got back, one that sadly was too far gone) and several other very serious emergencies ahead of me when I visited earlier this year. And I WOULD rather they go in order of severity. They spent 36 hours taking care of my girl. Good people, good updates, and they do seem to really care. It's going to be expensive, but any emergency room is. If something happens again while I'm still here and everyone else is closed, I'll certainly be back. I just have my fingers crossed that the only time I'll end up on their doorstep is to bring them more cupcakes =) Read Less

Read Less

Read Less

I have had my two cats at this emergency center on two different occasions and for different reasons.
