We brought our beloved dog to be put down, arrived at 9:30 as to instructions, did not get in until close to noon. Wished to stay for the procedure...Dolly was taken away for a catheter to be inserted...
We brought our beloved dog to be put down, arrived at 9:30 as to instructions, did not get in until close to noon. Wished to stay for the procedure...Dolly was taken away for a catheter to be inserted in her front leg, when she was returned both of the front legs were bloody and a catheter was in her back right leg...when the Dr tried to inject the sedative it blew out a vein...he then tried to inject through the front bloody leg with no results and dog crying in pain...the person attempting the cathaters should have informed the Dr they would not work....luckily enough sedative was injected Dolly fell asleep...she was taken from us and gassed...this was no way humane or done in a professional manner....if you need a pet put doen ask for a mild tranqulizer first to settle them before and procedure..I took Dolly to this vet office for 16 years and will never return...it is deeply troubling to warch your pet suffer when the object is to pass on with no pain....Robert K. My Dog past away and i had a friend take him here to get cremated and these women would not get off their phones. They were rude. When he was bringing jack in they didn't even bother to open the door ...
My Dog past away and i had a friend take him here to get cremated and these women would not get off their phones. They were rude. When he was bringing jack in they didn't even bother to open the door for him. They kept laughing and I absolutely think there's no humor in these situations. Id never recommend this place to anyone ever.

The short white doctor who wears the glasses and shakes while he talks, will wait until after they have your dog in the back and then hit you with other fees and when you tell them your not paying they try to keep your dog. Avoid this place and its surprise fees

Dr. Rohrbaugh has saved many of my family pets from having to be put down. I have now taken my pets three times for broken backs and he was able to bring them all back to walking. He amazing.

Recently my older dog Charlie was very sick but doctor Garrick was able to diagnose him quickly and thanks to him Charlie was feeling better the next day.

I am giving all stars because I have been taking my two dogs here for about 5 years and I can say that my husband and I are happy to have finally found a vet that cares so much for our boys. The doctor remembers them and their medical history whenever we go. They are very honest when it comes to procedures they need and don't need. If he believes it is not needed he will not try and make you waste your money like most vets. They are sweet and patient with both of my dogs. Staff at the front desk is always kind and welcoming. Only thing I would like is see if they offer a notification via mail like other vets when the puppies are due for shots.

Both vets are good. Separate waiting rooms for dogs and cats. Vet helpers are nice as well. Also, when they've spayed or neutered my pets, they keep them overnight and the next day the pets are ready...

We loved this place. Our female cocker spaniel had a urinary tract infection and they got us an appointment the same day. When we got there, there were separate entrances for cats and dogs which I like because our dog likes to chase cats. We walked in, filled out the new patient form and they took us straight back. We were only there a total of 30 minutes which is incredibly fast for a veterinarian visit! The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't give us a breakdown of charges before it was time to pay. But, that's our fault for not asking questions. We will definitely be going back!

We brought our first dog to McRae Animal Hospital for regular check ups and shots in 1987. When we had to say goodbye to our old pal, we knew we would return here for our next pet care needs. This has been our family's first choice for veterinary care for the past 27 years. The office staff is friendly and the vets are great! There are separate entrances for dogs and cats. The place is always clean, although a little outdated. There is plenty of parking and the place is pretty easy to get in and out of. We brought our dogs here for surgeries, annual shots, check ups and for illnesses. We have always been happy with the care we received for our dogs.

I took my puppy there for all his first set of shots and was treated by a very rude vet and 7 months later he got parvo we took him back when the dog was only at the start of the virus they said they would check him out and ran a bunch test that he didnt need one day he was doing fine and I asked if we could take him home with some type of home treatment and the rude vet said that if I want to put him down its a shame because hes doing so well here, I said im just asking if there are other treatment options and he jumped down my throat so we decided to leave him there and then the next day he died this was today 12/9/11
I dont recommend this place all they care about is money not your dogs life and if you cant pay your animal will pay with its life.... be carefull people please if you love your dog or cat as much as we loved ours find a better place

We loved this place. Our female cocker spaniel had a urinary tract infection and they got us an appointment the same day. When we got there, there were separate entrances for cats and dogs which I like because our dog likes to chase cats. We walked in, filled out the new patient form and they took us straight back. We were only there a total of 30 minutes which is incredibly fast for a veterinarian visit! The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't give us a breakdown of charges before it was time to pay. But, that's our fault for not asking questions. We will definitely be going back!

We brought our first dog to McRae Animal Hospital for regular check ups and shots in 1987. When we had to say goodbye to our old pal, we knew we would return here for our next pet care needs. This has been our family's first choice for veterinary care for the past 27 years. The office staff is friendly and the vets are great! There are separate entrances for dogs and cats. The place is always clean, although a little outdated. There is plenty of parking and the place is pretty easy to get in and out of. We brought our dogs here for surgeries, annual shots, check ups and for illnesses. We have always been happy with the care we received for our dogs.

The receptionists are always great and helpful! I always receive great care for my pets and at better prices than some of the other clinics I have been to. These doctors have been in practice 30+ years and can remember going when I was younger with my parents. I only trust my pets care to them! I highly recommend to all my friends and family.

I took my puppy there for all his first set of shots and was treated by a very rude vet and 7 months later he got parvo we took him back when the dog was only at the start of the virus they said they would check him out and ran a bunch test that he didnt need one day he was doing fine and I asked if we could take him home with some type of home treatment and the rude vet said that if I want to put him down its a shame because hes doing so well here, I said im just asking if there are other treatment options and he jumped down my throat so we decided to leave him there and then the next day he died this was today 12/9/11
I dont recommend this place all they care about is money not your dogs life and if you cant pay your animal will pay with its life.... be carefull people please if you love your dog or cat as much as we loved ours find a better place
