I recently began fostering four puppies with parvovirus that were going to be put down by the former owner. As a veterinary technician at a low-cost wellness clinic, I knew the low chances of the puppies surviving even with aggressive treatment. Main Street Veterinary clinic, specifically Dr. Tuttle and Dr. Hudack, did an amazing job trying everything possible to save one of the little babies, Ari. Additionally, the technicians Jeff, Tiera, and Ayha were phenomenal caring for her. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, Ari didn't make it. However, Main St and its employees were so kind during the incredibly rough week. The doctors called me in the middle of the day with updates, explained everything thoroughly, and even re-ran tests when the results seemed abnormal. I truly felt supported by this clinic when we ultimately had to euthanize sweet Ari and could tell it was hard on the staff as well. They all did a wonderful job assuring me that it wasn't the wrong decision. They even helped me find homes for the puppies granted they lived through treatment. I love this clinic and believe from the bottom of my heart that they are good people and wonderful professionals. I will bring my babies here for any full-service needs. Read Less

Dr Lobprise completely eliminated my cat Zoe's stomatitis symptoms. She extracted all teeth but the canines, and Zoe has responded beautifully. One year out and she is still doing great! If your cat has this problem and needs extraction surgery don't scrimp and try to find a bargain. The procedure was not cheap but it was the highest quality and worth every penny. Read Less

Stellar vet service! These people go out of their way to make your pet feel comfortable. On my first, recent visit, I walked in and went to the counter to check in with my 2 Siberian Huskies and two staff members asked if my dogs could have treats. I said yes and they were immediately "treated" with yummy snacks. This made for a more comfortable experience for my girls. The receptionist went over what I was needing for that day and checked in my girls. I was there for the flu vaccines as there was a flu going around for dogs specifically show dogs and my dogs were going to a dog show the next month. I wanted to make sure they had the protection they needed.The wait for a room was short and then the tech brought us back to a room where he listened to hearts and asked a variety of health questions. I told him that one of my girls would hold a grudge on taking her temp and any shots so he decided to wait to do her temp until the vet was in so she wouldn't immediately not like the vet. I thought that was thoughtful. It took a few minutes before the vet came in. Female with a warm smile. She immediately snacked my girls which gave them special interest in her. :-) She went over them both and then took temperatures and I was surprised that my Ruby did not seem to hold a grudge like she has done with the vets in the past. I the past, once they did things to her, she would go under my chair or behind me and try to stay away from them but she didn't do that on this day.Both girls received Flu shots and Ruby was also due for bordetello which she received orally.  Then the vet gave them more snacks and even asked them to do their tricks. She wasn't able to get Ruby to do "bang" but she attempted and Ruby thought that was cute. ;-)After the dogs were cared for, the vet personally talked to me and I found her to be extremely caring. This vet clinic is out of our way and we go by many vet clinics on our way here but they had the best Yelp reviews when we moved to this new area and gave them a shot. once again Yelp did not let me down. I was referred to Dr. Lobprice by Dr. Matthew Noland. Dr. Noland in animal dentistry is very thorough in the diagnosis and explanation to us about our fur babies. I met Dr. Noland at I-20 vet here in Weatherford. Dr. Lobprice also is a very caring Top Doc specialist in surgical dentistry at MSVH. The staff at the front knows their stuff and takes care of everyone quickly and efficiently. Also have to mention Shannon....Dr. Lobprice nurse.....he kept me updated on the surgery and how it was going. That is comforting for a doggie parent in the waiting room. We have taken our English bulldog, Nelson, here for the past 4 years. We went through a lot of trial and errors with other establishments trying to find people who were patient, gentle and knowledgeable with his breed. 4 years later and we absolutely still love this place and have recommend several other families to them. I will continue to sing their praises as they exceed customer service and more importantly their "bedside manner" (if you will) is phenomenal. They value customer/pet care over money. We had our first visit yesterday. I was referred to Dr Lobprice by my vet. My lab has an autoimmune thing happening in her mouth and has been miserable. Yesterday, Dr Lobprice extracted some of her teeth. The staff here is friendly and I was very happy with the way Dr Lobprice prepped us for the procedure and kept us informed. We were referred to Main St to see Dr Lobprice to help our puppy mill survivor, Tera with her dental issue. When I walked in I felt like I had been going there for years! The Ladies up front were incredibly nice, and I was very guarded bc I was worried about my Tera. Shannon, Dr Lobprice's tech was great!!! Dr Lobprice was amazing! Main Street Vet has been so great. As a first time cat owner, and a new dog owner as well Main Street went above and beyond any expectations I had for seeing a vet. The entire staff was so helpful. The vet actually spent more time in the exam room with my pet than the amount of time my doctor takes to see me. so glad to have great care for my pets. Amazing! Wonderful! Too many positive adjectives to list! I called in this morning, a Saturday morning, to try and get a same-day appointment for one of our cats who'd had some problems the last few weeks. They were swamped and already over-booked but Heather listened to what had gone on with "Mr. Fluff", talked to the doc, and was able to get me in on "stand-by". Already they were going beyond the call of duty and doing it with great cheer and kindness. All the staff was so helpful and attentive when I got there and was ushered into the "cat room", a nice change from usually having to sit in front with a lot of nice but overly curious dogs. When Dr. Tuttle was able to slip in and examine him, she took her time, listened (amazing that so many people at the same place did that, very unusual, especially on a super-busy day :-), and acted as if I was the only client there which was sooo helpful. She worked up a plan, worked with me to fit it into my super-tight unemployed budget and got it started. I could go on and on but suffice it to say, that everything went well, very well. I wish I had the resources to go in there every week! I'd invent excuses, it was such a positive experience and they were so helpful at every stage and made sure I understood everything and what the costs were going to be, and what we could postpone and what had to be done today. It has now been 1.5 years since I've taken my dogs here. Since then, they have had a dog bite, blood sugar issues, abnormal growth, teeth cleaned, and their regular follow up appointments. One of them has been to the ER at a nearby clinic. This place has been amazing. My dog was put on antibiotics for the bite, repeat blood work to monitor the sugar, referral and follow up to a specialist regarding the growth, follow up with the teeth, follow up call after the ER vet (before I even told them), and just treated really well. I absolutely love taking my dogs here. I feel like my dogs are loved and accepted. They take extra precaution in one of my pups because heart issues are known for that breed. I really could just go on and on about this place. There really aren't enough ways how much I can express my gratitude. They really have been there for me and them. And I am a hard person to please when it comes to my furbabies. I view them as my children and they will always be a part of my family. I love that I don't have to worry when they are here.Read Less

I absolutely LOVE Main Street Vet! From the office staff to the techs to the vets and the vet surgeon, they are kind and caring. They offer top quality veterinary care without ever forgetting that these are your babies. They will spend however long you want answering every question you have. We took our dachshund in for his annual dental visit. This is usually pretty traumatic for our poor boy - he has terrible dachshund teeth and generally looses several each year. This is our first year having it done at Main Street and our baby sailed through with barely a whimper. He used to come home bruised and miserable for up to a week. I learned that it doesn't have to be that way - when the vet is gentle and does the procedure correctly. I wish I had started going to MSV years ago!!! I can't say enough about Dr. Smith, Dr. Brashear, Dr. Ford-Brassette, and the entire team at Main Street Vet. Because of their insight and follow-up, we were able to find a baseball-sized tumor in Nomi's spleen before it was too late. Two days after the splenectomy, Nomi (our 13-year-old basset hound) is back to her old self, with a noticeable spring in her step, a renewed interest in food, and an all-over better presentation. The Main Street Vet team really took care of her as if she were their own, really going above and beyond both before the surgery and after. We had several phone calls yesterday checking up on her, and a return visit today to monitor blood levels. Judy and I couldn't be happier with the care and dedication shown by everyone at MSV; they took care of our dog, and they took care of us, helping us make the right decision and explaining everything every step of the way. We feel that they've become our friends through this, and that the quality of life of our animals means as much to them as it does to us. On a scale of 1 to 10, they consistently turn it up to eleven. We've been to a lot of vets in the past (we tend to adopt older animals) and MSV is among the very, very best. My dog died a few years ago and I never felt so awful about how the Vet talked to us. It was very insincere and still makes me cry to this day. Initially I brought my pitbull puppy here because they offered a free consultation. Even though I live an hour away and pass more than 30 other vets to get here, I will definitely continue to bring my puppies here. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They greeted me and my puppy, which gave my little pit a serious case of wiggle butt. The doctor was kind and knowledgeable, and my puppy was still excited to see her even after the doctor had to pull one of her teeth. All-in-all this is the best experience I've had at any medical place, human medical centers included.Read Less

I really would not trust the care of my baby to anyone else! I call and they get me in right away if we are experiencing any health problems. They call me right back if I have any concerns. DJ (Shihtzu)has been going to Main Street Vet since he was 6 weeks old.. he is 14 now. Lots of old age problems surface at that age and I am confident that the care he is receiving is the best that is out there!
