Dr. Morris and his entire staff are extremely nice. They treat your pet like they are their own animals. Fantastic work. Entire facility is immaculate from reception all the through to the back where their hospital patients are kept. My last dog knew how to get there and would get more excited the closer we got. One time he even put his paw on the steering wheel tellimg me which way to go! My last dog was injured really badly by my neighbors pits. Dr. Morris had a feeling from the get go that my Judd was a survivor. Dr. Morris even sat on the floor and hand-fed him wet food. You can visit your pet while they are in hospital. When it came down to the end of Judd's life, 4yrs after his attack, he was 14yrs old. Reception had me go behind the building so the staff could bring him in on a stretcher. Judd had been lethargic, not eating or drinking a sufficient amount to maintain life. However, when they came to get him out of my car, he got all excited to see his friends there! I think he probably could have walked himself in instead of the stretcher, but his legs were giving out at home. But that's testament as to how much animals love the staff and vice versa. My current dog loves it there too. Read Less

Took my dog there because I thought her eye had a festering would. They decided to remove the eye and ignored the it own charts that said she had high blood sugar. Because they ignored her blood sugar she almost died when we got her back and I had to take her to an emergency animal hospital. Would have given them one star but they ended up taking care of the bill for her emergency care. They would have a higher rating for taking care of her if they followed through completely with what they said they would do to make up for risking her life with surgery that wasn't necessary. They were supposed to cover her diabetes supplyies in addition to the hospital bill, but have only paid for her hospitalization. Read Less

Our visit was so wonderful, I don't know what could have made it better! I'm a Veterinary Technician and my fiance is a Veterinarian. We live in Florida and I was visiting my fur baby in Texas. Medical attention was needed immediately and your office was able to get us in on a busy Saturday within a few hours of calling. This is pretty much unheard of on the weekend and we were so grateful!!! Everyone on staff was very nice and personable. Rudy our technician made us feel right at home and Indica felt safe going to the treatment area with him. He was also very knowledgeable and helped make our visit go smoothly. Dr. Lee was just as wonderful! He explained everything very thoroughly, relating his own experience with his dog, and the clinic carried the medications I was hoping to get for my baby to relieve her conditions. Indica felt very safe with Dr. Lee as well. For the diagnostics that were done in the short amount of time, tells me that the team is very efficient and effective. I was highly pleased and have already recommended your clinic to my family and friends in the area. Thank you so very much!!!! Read Less

This has been our vet for years, when my 20 year old Main Coon had to be put down due to a huge cancerous tumor - they were so caring. The vet Dr was so understanding, put me in the goodbye Room and I was allowed to hold him while he went to sleep. They gave me the option if I wanted to go in the room, but I had held him while he went to sleep. They let me stay as long as I needed. I couldn't drive I was crying so hard, I had him as a kitten. The staff came in to console me. They took the best of care of his ashes. And now I have him in a beautiful urn. My Rottweiler mix dog was my kitty's best friend. She mourned with me. And to this day will lick Vincent's urn. Now, even tho I've moved to another town, I still see this vet to take care of my dog. The Doc is both compassionate and to the point. And treats my furr babies like they are his during the visit. The Doc and his staff are unbelievably remarkable. Read Less

I went in because of a concern with my cat this past weekend because of a scabby rash that was on his neck, he had gotten out when I left for work the weekend before and was attacked by a stray cat and the cat scratched the scabs off so it almost looked as if there was never a rash there, I still explained it to them and how he had been attacked and how it was his first time outside, and that his shots were not up to date anymore so I was worried of course that he might have gotten something. The vet said that he is fine and kept saying that the rash looks like it is healing and that he doesn't need to run any tests on him, they were also supposed to give a rabies shot and never did! The rash is now coming back and it's spread to other spots on him and my cat is still hardly eating. - Never taking any of my animals here again. Read Less

I absolutely LOVE this veterinarian and his staff. He is so friendly, positive, and caring. I would recommend this clinic in a heartbeat for veterinarian care. However, just for SHOTS, I think that they are too high priced. There are tons of shot clinics all over that give shots for much less. I wanted my dog's hair cut, and he was missing a shot and it was going to cost me a fortune. So I booked an appointment at Pet's Mart - where they threw my dog in a cage and he didn't like it and cried and growled, so they refused to cut his hair. I had to go back and get him. I ended up calling a mobile service that was excellent. Read Less

This is the default vet if you adopt a dog at the neighboring Humane Society. Kiki had demodectic mange and an upper respiratory infection. She also needed dental work and to get spayed. Most vets require that you take your dog in for weekly dips to treat demodectic mange. I'm not sure if it's because she's 5 lbs or what, but he used topical Certifect biweekly to successfully treat her, thus sparing her from the trauma of getting dipped. He also successfully treated her kennel cough. When she had her surgeries (spay/deciduous teeth removal), his awesome vet techs texted me and kept me updated on her condition. They also text you friendly reminders about when your appointments are due. When I adopted my second dog, I had to take him to an approved vet who would honor the free visit. This place did. Dr. Morris and his staff are very friendly, except for only one surly woman who works behind the desk. She's attentive though; one time an elderly couple brought an unfriendly dog without a leash. They were not good at paying attention to the dog nor at keeping it under control. Surly Woman quickly let them know about her disdain and brought a leash from the back.I usually schedule myself for early morning appointments to cut down on the wait time. Only once did I have to wait past my appointment time (40 minutes), but I take responsibility for it since I was 10 minutes late.

Read Less

I've been using Dr. Morris and his partners for five years, my family has been using him for well over a decade. Everyone in the office is fantastic! Dr. Morris is excellent, and so are his partners. My dog does not do well in social environments, but the staff always make him feel at ease. Rudy, the tech, is also amazing. I highly recommend the Animal Hospital of Southwest Fort Worth.Read Less

My little one is not so sure about going to the Vet, but is happy to see everyone when we arrive. Doc and all the techs are soooo nice to the pets (and their parents.) I recommend them often.

Dr. Morris and his team were well worth the time to visit from downtown Fort Worth for routine vet care and even emergencies. I always felt like they cared for my cat and dog, were honest with their recommendations, and never tried to take advantage of my fear for my pets wellbeing. They were always friendly and even remembered our names! Read Less

My sons dog (Choco) gets all of his annual needs of care here. Being that he's my DG-son I rarely come in contact with the hospital unless its an emergency like him digging holes and getting loose or my son is out of town. Whenever I have had the opportunity to visit the staff is so welcoming and friendly. The ER visit today was filled with knowledgeable information to keep Choc sane when we leave him outside. Didn't know that there was a drug to give dogs for anxiety named Trazodone. This is something that I will make sure that my son get him on ASAP! This location is always accepting donations and all pet items. If your looking for a good place for your four legged family member to be treated please give them a try. Very nice people and clean facility. Have your pet tell them Choco sent you....:~} Read Less

Read Less
