Got seen quickly without appt. Puppy got better, but after meds were all gone relapsed. Found cause was new brand of treats. They followed up the next day, and urged a return visit if puupy still not well. No discount for follow up visit. (I asked). Has two offices and some tests are very reasonable. VERY SWEET PEOPLE! I had to take our precious little 15+ year old Schnauzer to have him put to sleep, he just couldn't go on. It hurt so bad that I couldn't even talk! Extremely friendly people with decent prices. Unfortunately a bit of a snafu when my pup ripped his stitches out and they said they could see me when I called. Then I pulled into the parking lot and was called telling me they couldn't see me that day. Had to go spend alot more money elsewhere to get him patched back up. Still a great place to go. Read Less

I can't being to say how disappointed I was with this vet. We took our dog in last week because she was drooling, lethargic and swelling and they told me she "probably" had an infection. They never did blood work, threw medication at us and took a crummy xray that didn't even show every angle of her stomach (which was hard). Two days later I brought her back because she was swelling in new areas they tried to say she was stung by a hornet...in 20° weather. When I tried to explain that even getting her outside was a chore because she was so lethargic they brushed me off, told me if was the only reasoning for her swelling, and threw more medicine at me. They still didn't take labs, they only treated me and my dog like we were inconveniencing them. Two days later we brought her to a different vet because she was still swelling worse and in different areas. They were shocked by the quality of xrays and lack of labs. After taking a biopsy we have found that our girl has large cell lymphoma. I waisted almost $400 at this vet and all they did was line their pockets while making us feel like garbage. Don't go here if you value your fur babies because they don't listen and only throw medicine (EXPENSIVE meds they keep in house without offering to call them in to a pharmacy) your way. Very caring and understanding people. My fiance and I had a very sick pet/friend and they were compassionate but direct about his outcome. We had him cremated , he was returned to us beautifully. If I didn't have to I wouldn't give it a star at all. This place is a joke. The new staff is horrible. The office manager ashley is very rude not willing to help. Do your self a favor and pay someone that will actually care for your pet and not the money. The doctors are nice but they are not that good!!! Read Less

I really like this vet. I have an older dog and they didn't make me feel bad for saying no to the extra blood work they offer for old dogs. They gave me all my options and I felt well informed when I decided what I wanted to do. The office is nice inside and the staff is friendly and professional. I think the prices are fair. I went back to frontier and found out there is new ownership which was disappointing as I really enjoyed my visits with Dr Barney Stumbo. I was going to set up for teeth cleaning for my dog bc he really needs it but they wanted about $700 which is way more than what Dr Stumbo was charging so I will have to find another vet clinic.Read Less

although ive only been here once i know ill continue to go to frontier if i get another pet. unfortunately we had to put our dog down which killed my son. the staff was so amazing i cant thank them enough for being so compassionate and just made us feel a little better about the situation. today i received a card in the mail and the entire staff wrote something and i think my dogs paw print inside and i am just amazed and happy i chose to go to them. I have been a customer of Frontier for many years but sad to say that is coming to an end. I recently found a rescue dog and when the rescue asked me what vet I wanted to use I told them Frontier. The rescue lady told me they would not be able to work with the rescue on the spay, heart worm test, and chipping. On the spay and worm test they were way too expensive and on the chip they refused to use the rescues chip. So two weeks after I finally receive the dog I take the blood work and test results from the rescue vet in to Frontier and try to buy a 6 month supply of heart worm medicine. I am told they will not sell me any because my dog doesn't have a relationship with them yet and Id have to pay for their vet to do all the testing and build a file on my dog. I take a deep breath and tell the lady if they had worked with the rescue my dog would have a history with them and Pet Meds on line has no problem selling me what I need. So needless to say I am done with Frontier. I made some phone calls and my new vet is Westridge Animal Hospital. Read Less

This veterinary clinic is one of the best in the DFW area. Ive been taking all of my animals there for years and will continue to bring my animals. The front office staff is very professional and courteous. They understand that your animal is your baby and they treat your animal as their own every time. The doctor(s) are also very friendly and knowledgeable. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my fur babies!! These girls are so passionate and super caring! Everyone there is very knowledgable and helpful. I cannot sing their praises enough, seriously. We just had our two babies fixed there and I could not have gotten through it without them and they even called to check on them after we were home for while. Cali & Dixon love everyone there which put my mind at ease during the surgery. If you have any doubts in this place, try them again. They have changed so much for the better! My son's beloved therapy cat had gotten sick. I called Frontier and Amy worked us in immediately. Upon arrival, everyone was friendly and we were taken to an exam room. The tech came in and got some information on Legolas. She was so sweet and very patient with my son as he has autism and was stemming very hard. The vet came in and he was very nice, examined Legolas, gave his opinion, told us the cost up front and didn't push us into anything. Once we decided, he took our cat to the back for blood work and then brought Legolas back. When the devastating news that Legolas had feline leukemia and it was one of the worst cases seen. We made the heartbreaking decision to let Legolas go, the staff was so warm and caring. They even cried with us. It helped make a difficult day a little easier. Read Less
