All Lozzi cares about is how much money he can.get.from you. I took my pet to him for his annual physical. Lozzi checked his anal gland and said they were full and charged extra for draining them. Well that was a lie. I do the gland myself. Always have, always will. But will Lozzi's assertive attitude I had to leave before I told him where to go. My neighbor took her pet to see him against my objections because her pet had a cough. He tried to put her pet on opiods.(Totbultol) For a cough!!! Only thing I can say is WATCH YOURSELF. Read Less

Dr. Lozzi and his staff are amazing. Due to the holiday and clinic closings we had to take our fur baby to Hulen Hills Emergency Clinic. We were raked over the coals financially, as well as given a completely incorrect diagnosis, which would have resulted in an unnecessary surgery and an additional $3000. I called Wedgewood Animal Clinic as soon as they were open the following day, by this time our fur baby was in critical condition and barely hanging on. The staff here and Dr. Lozzi were so kind and compassionate. Dr. Lozzi did absolutely everything he could to help her. Not only did he stabilize her, he worked miracles and saved our little girl. She is alive and well and doing better and better each day. This place is the best place to take your pets hands down. Thank you all sooooooo much. Dr. Lozzi is all business and I for one appreciate that. He knows his stuff and gives great care and straightforward advice related to my dogs. I've recently had two (of my four) cross over to the other side. The staff was caring in the process and we received cards expressing condolences afterwards. We have been here several times for our dog who is our child. Dr. Lozzi's manner with dogs has increasingly concerned me and this last visit was the last straw. He and his techs are rough with our dog. Rather than taking their time and showing patience to allow my dog to feel comfortable on the exam table, they shoved him down and pinned him on the table. I tried to explain he is well trained and if you ask him to lay down, he will. Instead, they pulled his legs out from under him so he'd fall and then pinned him. I decided (against my better judgement) to give them another chance. This time Dr. Lozzi stared down my dog looking over his reading glasses which really frightened my dog. My dog loves everyone and is literally the friendliest dog you will ever meet. He was cowering behind me and growling at Dr. Lozzi. Instead of giving my dog time to warm up, he continued to stare at him over his reading glasses, and I was shocked! That is incredibly challenging and intimidating behavior to do that to a dog who is showing fear. They did not allow me to stand with my dog and pet him while they were giving him shots. I've been a dog owner for +30 years and I have always done that to comfort my dogs while they are scared. I couldn't believe they did not let me touch my dog when he was scared. Dr. Lozzi is also incredibly sarcastic to owners, at least to me.It's rude and unprofessional especially when I'm bringing a legitimate concern to him. My dog's health is not a joke and I expect his vet to take it seriously as well. We are changing vets and will not return. If you have lost all patience for people and dogs, why are you still working with them? Read Less

We had to make the decision to declaw our cat and it was something we really didn't want to do, but needed to do. When I dropped her off I started crying and the vet techs were so sweet about it! One came around the corner and gave me her full attention and asked me why I felt so bad. She made me feel SO much better after explaining away all my fears. Bless her for being there when she was... I spent almost $500 on all my pups there (worth it, because their my babies). Dr. Lozzi's bed side manner is the worst I've ever experienced. He's very condescending and tends to ask questions he knows the answers too. It's clear that animal care isn't his top priority and he's in it for the money. After all my pups got their check ups and shots, my oldest had a heat stroke on a Saturday afternoon. Not knowing anywhere else to go, we rushed her there. He never came to speak with us, and had some other awful woman come and say that her temp was 105 and it was bad. She slowly told us how they were not going to help us because they were closing soon. We had to load my old dog, that was seizing and could barely move, back in the car and head to an Emergency Clinic. She had to be put down that day due to complications from the stroke. They gave us one of the worst experiences on one of the worst days of our lives and I'll never forget that.Read Less

I love the staff, and Dr. Lozzi. More importantly, my furbaby Elizabeth loves Dr. Lozzi. But don't use the email/website scheduler, just give them a call. I put in a request for an appointment the electronic way and never got a response, but calling will put you through to one of the wonderful "happy to help you" humans right away. Awesome people here! Very patient and kind. When my baby Zoe was sick I frantically went looking fora vet who would see her without an appointment. Was turned away by 2 before I drove to here. I walked in bawling and carrying my sick baby pleading for them to help. Dr. Lozzi had a surgery that morning but postponed it to see my girl!!
