Called to schedule a kennel stay for my dogs as one of them was having diarrhea and we were house hunting. Was told there was a kennel available for my dogs over the phone by one lady, but when I got there 5 minutes later I spoke to a different lady that, once I explained my dog was having diarrhea and etc she "checked" the computer and said they were all booked. (5 minutes later? Come on) I suspect it was because they didn't want to have to take care of her diarrhea. Luckily Preston Animal Hospital was open and available so they gladly took her for us (oh and she never had diarrhea with them either 😄).

I was very impressed with this Hospital. I arrive 20 minutes late expecting to get a little bit of attitude but I was greeted with friendly faces. I bought in a very pregnant and very emaciated Foster mommy dog and she was treated very kindly by the staff. This included the reception, the tech, and the doctor. The tech in the doctor took great care and were very gentle with my foster dog. They went above and beyond by sending home lots of literature regarding helping the mama during the birthing process and caring for the puppies once they were born. I would highly recommend this place.

The staff and doctors and Woodland Springs are top notch. They took excellent care of our Labrador Retriever her entire life, especially when she began to have back and hip problems. A timely diagnosis by Dr. Ken Slough saved her life and gave us nearly two extra years with her we didn't think we would have. The office staff was always cheerful and welcoming, helping us with all of our insurance claims, questions about medications, scheduling challenges and general anxiety caring for an old mobility-challenged dog. Two paws up for WSVH!

First thing Saturday morning my older baby woke up very sick. I called several vet offices and everyone said they were booked and wouldn't be able to help. Woodland Springs told me to bring her in and they would work me in. As soon as I arrived I had a room. They were very polite and helpful. Since she is old I thought this was the end for her. I was so happy someone was willing to see us and help. I will be moving all 3 of my children to this vet office. Thank you guys for being there in one of my most frantic and scared times and taking really good care of my baby!

Instead of putting down my dog from lack of funds to treat her from an accident (poisonous gum being eaten). My lil girl is coming back home with me with donated medicine. Many weeks ago someone on my neighborhood Facebook page asked about a veterinarian in the area, and several people suggested Woodland Springs VH. I'm so glad they did. Our little dog was having trouble urinating, so we brought her here as a new patient. We tried antibiotics for two weeks. There wasn't any change. They recommended several different courses of treatment as the next step, and very graciously suggested an ultrasound before doing any of the others. Last week we found she had a very large cancerous tumor in her bladder, and made the very difficult decision to humanely euthanize her tonight. The staff at that hospital could not have been more kind and generous. Even when she was just on antibiotics they called several times during those two weeks to check on her. There are candles on the mantle inside the waiting room they light when someone is losing their pet, asking others to be courteous during that time. I could not have asked for better treatment or service. If you need a vet for your pets I highly recommend them.

Ok, so we all know going to the vet is expensive. There just isn't a way around that. However, at least this vet office is super friendly and helpful! They always remember my dogs name when we come in! Yesterday, the sweet vet tech was definitely on top of her game when I bombarded her with questions. All smiles, and made sure I had all my questions answered and even printed out some information on something my dog has on her spine so I could put my mind at ease. All the vets there are nice, I especially like Dr. Loter as she made great recommendations and advice when we noticed my dog had allergies. Another vet at our old vet office would just give us steroids for the hives she would get... Not really fixing the problem on the whole. But since meeting Dr. Loter, no more hives and just some benedryl during certain seasons now. Yesterday I met Dr. Carroll and she was great too! I've also boarded my dog here several times, I like how they take each dog out one at a time and play with them and let them go potty. I used to work at a dog boarding place where they took a bunch of dogs out at one time and sometimes there were fights. I like not being worried she might get bit or worse. She is always returned to me happy and healthy so I know she is taken care of.

Our dog scout tore her ACL on a Friday night. Having gone through this with her once already we wanted to have her seen before Monday to get her pain under control as fast as possible. We called woodland springs Saturday morning and they got us in to see Dr. Slough at 11:30, the end of the day. Everything about the last ACL tear, and subsequent TPLO surgery, was a nightmare, with exception to her ultimate recovery and prognosis. Everything about our experience with Dr. Slough was the opposite. Despite the fact that it was the end of their day, he gave us as much time as we needed to ask questions and feel comfortable with the prospect of another 2 - 4 months of recovery from surgery. He took his time with scout, and us, and acted like he had nowhere to be but there. After scout's surgery, at a surgery center not affiliated with woodland springs, he even personally called us to check up on her and ask if we needed anything.
I'd also like to respond to some of the older comments regarding upselling. I understand that's frustrating, especially when dealing with an already otherwise stressful situation. But all you have to say is "no." If that's the worst thing you can say about your vet then you have no idea how bad it can be, trust me.
Thanks Dr. Slough, you've made a lifelong customer out of us.

We have been taking our 2 babies to Woodland Springs Vetrinary Hospital since we moved down here almost 3 years ago. Now we rescued a third dog and would not trust anyone else with our furkids. Dr. Loter is great with all three. We have only seen her but o hear great things about the others as well. We bought a house near Eagle Mountain Lake so we have a 30 minute drive to get to them but it's worth it knowing our dogs are in great and loving hands.

My fur babies Houston and Moose have been going to the good folks at Woodland Springs now for 6 years, since we moved here. Dr Loter is their primary however I am comfortable with all of them. The staff are so kind, and even the big ox Houston feels comfortable with them. I even use them to watch my babies when I go out of town. Great Veterinarians, Great staff and they even file all my insurance paperwork for me, and I know they are getting the best care possible.Convenient hours Highly recommend them for everything from nail trims, to overnight stays and general wellness care . Been fortunate that we have not needed serious treatments, but I know they would be in good hands should they need it.

Our family includes an elderly dog, Gizmo, and a teenage cat, Fiona. Fiona came from a group of kittens rescued by the staff at WSVH. All I have to do when I call is give my name and they know that Gizmo or Fiona needs attention.
The care that each person at WSVH gives our furry family members could not be better. They greet us by name when we come through the door. They make each of them seem like the only one who has an appointment. Each diagnosis is discussed in detail and all of the possible treatment options and costs explained.
Gizmo and Fiona board at WSVH when we are away. When we pick them up, we get detailed information about what happened while we were gone.
My husband, Harry, and I could not be happier with the care our fur kids get from WSVH.

Called to schedule a kennel stay for my dogs as one of them was having diarrhea and we were house hunting. Was told there was a kennel available for my dogs over the phone by one lady, but when I got there 5 minutes later I spoke to a different lady that, once I explained my dog was having diarrhea and etc she "checked" the computer and said they were all booked. (5 minutes later? Come on) I suspect it was because they didn't want to have to take care of her diarrhea. Luckily Preston Animal Hospital was open and available so they gladly took her for us (oh and she never had diarrhea with them either 😄).

I was very impressed with this Hospital. I arrive 20 minutes late expecting to get a little bit of attitude but I was greeted with friendly faces. I bought in a very pregnant and very emaciated Foster mommy dog and she was treated very kindly by the staff. This included the reception, the tech, and the doctor. The tech in the doctor took great care and were very gentle with my foster dog. They went above and beyond by sending home lots of literature regarding helping the mama during the birthing process and caring for the puppies once they were born. I would highly recommend this place.

The staff and doctors and Woodland Springs are top notch. They took excellent care of our Labrador Retriever her entire life, especially when she began to have back and hip problems. A timely diagnosis by Dr. Ken Slough saved her life and gave us nearly two extra years with her we didn't think we would have. The office staff was always cheerful and welcoming, helping us with all of our insurance claims, questions about medications, scheduling challenges and general anxiety caring for an old mobility-challenged dog. Two paws up for WSVH!

Excellent first impressions! Everyone we met was very nice and loved meeting my dog. The doctor was on time and very quick with the tests and diagnosis. The fees were very reasonable compared to my last vet (I had apparently been wildly overspending on vet services!) All in all great first impression and we will make the drive to this vet even after we move a little further away.

They treat my 4 legged babies Jaxx and Georgia Mae like family and they take the time to explain everything thoroughly. Also scheduling last minute baths has been great with my hectic schedule. First thing Saturday morning my older baby woke up very sick. I called several vet offices and everyone said they were booked and wouldn't be able to help. Woodland Springs told me to bring her in and they would work me in. As soon as I arrived I had a room. They were very polite and helpful. Since she is old I thought this was the end for her. I was so happy someone was willing to see us and help. I will be moving all 3 of my children to this vet office. Thank you guys for being there in one of my most frantic and scared times and taking really good care of my baby!

Instead of putting down my dog from lack of funds to treat her from an accident (poisonous gum being eaten). My lil girl is coming back home with me with donated medicine. We have been taking our family pets here for about 7 years now. I can honestly say that these doctors have treated us better and care more than any other office we have been to. We have had to make difficult decisions and Dr Loder not only helped us to make those decisions but cried right along with us. I cannot say enough nice things about these people. Many weeks ago someone on my neighborhood Facebook page asked about a veterinarian in the area, and several people suggested Woodland Springs VH. I'm so glad they did. Our little dog was having trouble urinating, so we brought her here as a new patient. We tried antibiotics for two weeks. There wasn't any change. They recommended several different courses of treatment as the next step, and very graciously suggested an ultrasound before doing any of the others. Last week we found she had a very large cancerous tumor in her bladder, and made the very difficult decision to humanely euthanize her tonight. The staff at that hospital could not have been more kind and generous. Even when she was just on antibiotics they called several times during those two weeks to check on her. There are candles on the mantle inside the waiting room they light when someone is losing their pet, asking others to be courteous during that time. I could not have asked for better treatment or service. If you need a vet for your pets I highly recommend them.

Ok, so we all know going to the vet is expensive. There just isn't a way around that. However, at least this vet office is super friendly and helpful! They always remember my dogs name when we come in! Yesterday, the sweet vet tech was definitely on top of her game when I bombarded her with questions. All smiles, and made sure I had all my questions answered and even printed out some information on something my dog has on her spine so I could put my mind at ease. All the vets there are nice, I especially like Dr. Loter as she made great recommendations and advice when we noticed my dog had allergies. Another vet at our old vet office would just give us steroids for the hives she would get... Not really fixing the problem on the whole. But since meeting Dr. Loter, no more hives and just some benedryl during certain seasons now. Yesterday I met Dr. Carroll and she was great too! I've also boarded my dog here several times, I like how they take each dog out one at a time and play with them and let them go potty. I used to work at a dog boarding place where they took a bunch of dogs out at one time and sometimes there were fights. I like not being worried she might get bit or worse. She is always returned to me happy and healthy so I know she is taken care of.

Our dog scout tore her ACL on a Friday night. Having gone through this with her once already we wanted to have her seen before Monday to get her pain under control as fast as possible. We called woodland springs Saturday morning and they got us in to see Dr. Slough at 11:30, the end of the day. Everything about the last ACL tear, and subsequent TPLO surgery, was a nightmare, with exception to her ultimate recovery and prognosis. Everything about our experience with Dr. Slough was the opposite. Despite the fact that it was the end of their day, he gave us as much time as we needed to ask questions and feel comfortable with the prospect of another 2 - 4 months of recovery from surgery. He took his time with scout, and us, and acted like he had nowhere to be but there. After scout's surgery, at a surgery center not affiliated with woodland springs, he even personally called us to check up on her and ask if we needed anything.
I'd also like to respond to some of the older comments regarding upselling. I understand that's frustrating, especially when dealing with an already otherwise stressful situation. But all you have to say is "no." If that's the worst thing you can say about your vet then you have no idea how bad it can be, trust me.
Thanks Dr. Slough, you've made a lifelong customer out of us.

We have been taking our 2 babies to Woodland Springs Vetrinary Hospital since we moved down here almost 3 years ago. Now we rescued a third dog and would not trust anyone else with our furkids. Dr. Loter is great with all three. We have only seen her but o hear great things about the others as well. We bought a house near Eagle Mountain Lake so we have a 30 minute drive to get to them but it's worth it knowing our dogs are in great and loving hands.

My fur babies Houston and Moose have been going to the good folks at Woodland Springs now for 6 years, since we moved here. Dr Loter is their primary however I am comfortable with all of them. The staff are so kind, and even the big ox Houston feels comfortable with them. I even use them to watch my babies when I go out of town. Great Veterinarians, Great staff and they even file all my insurance paperwork for me, and I know they are getting the best care possible.Convenient hours Highly recommend them for everything from nail trims, to overnight stays and general wellness care . Been fortunate that we have not needed serious treatments, but I know they would be in good hands should they need it.

Our family includes an elderly dog, Gizmo, and a teenage cat, Fiona. Fiona came from a group of kittens rescued by the staff at WSVH. All I have to do when I call is give my name and they know that Gizmo or Fiona needs attention.
The care that each person at WSVH gives our furry family members could not be better. They greet us by name when we come through the door. They make each of them seem like the only one who has an appointment. Each diagnosis is discussed in detail and all of the possible treatment options and costs explained.
Gizmo and Fiona board at WSVH when we are away. When we pick them up, we get detailed information about what happened while we were gone.
My husband, Harry, and I could not be happier with the care our fur kids get from WSVH.
