The staff is so wonderful and so is my vet Dr Malloy. Been going here for years and with multiple pets, and had my cat put down here. They have been the nicest and the best. You pay a monthly fee and it includes some visits/shots/labwork etc - and there are different levels to choose with, that cover certain different medical expenses and gives you discounts on others. My two-year-old Springer Spaniel and I recently relocated to the Friendswood area. We hated to leave our beloved vets behind in Cullman, Alabama but felt super relieved when we found Friendswood Animal Clinic. It was very easy to transfer records and they treated my pup like they’d been caring for him all along. Today when I stopped by, one of the staff even took the extra time to show me a few tips about how to ease Georgie’s separation anxiety and gently break him of jumping up. The vet was very thorough with her first examination and actually took the time to connect with my dog rather than just rushing him through the process. He loved her which is important to me. They offer a PawPlan to encourage affordable annual pet wellness which I intend to take part in. At the time of posting this plans ranged in price from $19.95 to $71.95 per month and, although the plans varied in coverage according to cost, even the very basic plan covers enough to make financial sense. Also, I can’t help but notice these things - the office was very clean, as were the exam rooms. That says a lot to me. My sister uses them too and she loves them as well, as do her three Doberman!! EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! I went recently and Dr. Coleman was very sweet, knowledgeable, and professional. The rest of the staff was very professional and kind also. They comforted because I had lost a pet several weeks ago. The place is impeccable. It does not smell like a Vet Clinic. They did not pressure me to buy anything, but instead gave me options. Dr. Murphy is amazing. She understands animals and is very thorough in her examinations. All staff are very friendly and empathetic. They worked me and my dog in for a visit when my dog was ill and I didn't have to wait at all. Dr. Murphy and her tech asked tons of questions which made me feel like they cared and were interested in accuracy and thoroughness. Dr. Murphy put my dog at ease, sitting on the floor with her and talking to her, petting her, etc. She laid out all my options and did not make me feel pressured. She was very welcoming and let me know that I could bring my pup back in at any time if I noticed her condition getting worse. If I had the option to give 0 stars would do.. I booked my appointment weeks ago and they told me that the it was not booked when I arrived there and had to wait over 40 min, I even got a confirmation call the day before o_0 The place is dirty, they do not clean the steel beds before and after animals, so the steel beds and chairs have dog and cat hair from previous animals. There was urine on the floor and nobody would pick it up until I pointed it out to the front desk. The vet was rude as well as Tech. NEVER taking my dog there again. All they want is money, they kept insisting I should get a whole package for the entire year. I am glad I did not. Read Less

The doctors as well as the staff are helpful, kind, caring and compassionate. They understand this is life and not every one has a never ending cash supply. They give you reasonable options on treatments and even have a pet plan (insurance sort of). I have never had either Vet try and pressure me on a treatment, medication, or rush me into doing anything without ample time to think it through. I trust them with my fur babies! Read Less

I have two corgis that I've been taking there for a little over two months. Between the two, I've had multiple appointments that I've gone in for already. Every visit has been wonderful! The staff is very polite. The docs are very knowledgeable and helpful! The prices may be a little higher than some other clinics, but it's so worth it. Friendswood Animal Clinic is a vet facility that asks you to pay top dollar for poor quality veterinary care. I initially chose this vet office for two reasons: they had great online reviews and they were the first office to assist me with my new rescue dog's health condition. The vet for our first appointment was quick to lecture me and unable to provide an actual running conversation. Prices were also costly for medications. Fast forward to needing to acquire refills of the medication my dog needed: They never kept up with his condition so I would have to explain my dog's situation all over again each time I called. I recently brought him in for his annual physical exam. Six days later I noticed a growth on his lip that they missed. I called the office and asked if I could opt out of paying the office visit cost to check his lip even though I'd be more than willing to pay the cost of any testing or medications, etc. The staff member denied my request stating that it would not have been part of the visit's fees for the exam last week. I was floored. How could a physical assessment of a growth on my dog's lip not be considered part of an annual physical exam? I knew at this point I would no longer be bringing my dog to Friendswood Animal Clinic. I immediately called a different vet in my area who could see him that day. When I got to the new vet's office, it was like night and day between the two clinics. The vet and the vet tech were warm, welcoming, and compassionate. The vet performed another full, thorough exam on my dog and explained the different possibilities the bump could be. She also discovered my dog had an ear infection, the second aliment Friendswood Animal Clinic's vet completely missed the week before during their annual wellness exam. If you're wondering why there are so many positive reviews in contrast to my own, it could be due to the fact they post the following on invoices I've received: "Find us on Google and give us a review! After you're done, simply present your review to a member of the staff, and you will be entered into a monthly raffle for a $50.00 credit off your next visit." Killed my cat administering anesthesia. A 1:100,000 error proven to be human, an old cat, or a sick cat. My 3 year old cat was healthy, current on exams, vaccinations, and no previous reactions to anesthesia administered by another vet who owned this clinic before Zue took over in November 2015. This cat did not wake up after her heart and lungs stopped for over 2 minutes--the procedure she was brought in for was never started, yet the bill was larger than the procedure itself. The staff refused to spare my cat from the results of lack of oxygen to major organs as demonstrated by seizures caused by brain damage and and rigidity caused by muscle impairments. Damage to other organs appear up to 2 weeks later as cells become necrotic and the cat continues to suffer. They demanded my son pay the bill when he called to find out why this happened. "We won't have to harass your mother then." A violation of the FDCPA. The cat was still unconscious and at the clinic! The bill was paid yet the clinic refused to provide the medical record for that day. "We were understaffed that day and do not have it." No one apologized or showed remorse even when the empty kennel was picked up 2 days later. "What animal is this for." Do they return that many empty kennels?! Absolutely incomprehensible. Read Less

I have been taking my chihuahua to this vet the past 10 years since he was born. We moved to Humble, TX about 4 years ago and I continue to take him to Friendswood Animal Clinic. The staff and dr's are amazing, helpful, friendly and the only vet my dog will not give any issues to! When I first moved I tried going to PetSmart for a nail trim and they had to put a mussel on Taz even then could only cut his front paws. Taz is so calm when I take him to Friendswood Animal Clinic for almost anything! I will continue to do the 45 minute drive because their amazing and my dog loves them! Read Less

My mothers dog was sick and we though he had eaten some poison. they got me right in and took care of him. Turns out he was just sick. They are pricey but did a good job. Need to offer senior citizens discounts as pet care has gotten as bad a human health care. Read Less

I've been going for years. They are always friendly, helpful, informative, and the facility is very clean. I have never had an issue with this place and back when I made semi-regular visits with my cat they knew us by name. They are not the most inexpensive place around but I don't mind paying a few extra dollars for the treatment we receive there. I have since moved much further from them than when I started going there but I still make the drive to see them. I will continue to take all my animals to see them.Read Less

This place is very nice I am very happy with the staff. Dr. Murphy Cheryl and Erin as well are as sweet as can be and I would recommend you take your pets here anytime.
