Blown away from start to finish. When we think of Vet Hospitals, we appreciate their service, but know the pain is about to come. My Schnauzer puppy was attached by an American Dingo...yes, this is a breed. Anywho, they immediately attended to my Rosco's needs, caught him up on everything, and was beyond nice during my visit. I will no longer even consider anywhere else for my pets needs!!! If I could give 10 stars I would.

They are caring, compassionate and knowledgeable of any concern ever encountered. I have recommended them to many people and the great experience has always been the same. Doc's Kevin and Liz are the most caring and capable vets we've known. We transferred to Garden Ridge Animal Hospital after nearly losing one of our precious pups a few years back (we have 5 dogs). We wondered why we hadn't been at Garden Ridge Animal Hospital all along. They offer good advice, provide top notch treatment, never gouge us and they treat us like family. Love both Docs and the whole staff! Fortunate to have found them!

We recently had both our kittens declawed at this facility. I had called around and they by far offered the best rate. The facility is clean and beautiful. The staff are wonderful. Buddy was ready to go the day after his surgery. The other kitten, Violet, had to stay because after the surgery she decided to chew at her front right paw. They kept her without charging us any extra and allowed us to visit her when we wanted. They called daily to give us updates. After she chewed at it, the hospital soaked it in Epsom salt twice daily to help relieve the swelling. The office also gave us 2 bags of the appropriate kitty litter that we needed to use after surgery- at no extra cost to us. They even called the day after we took Violet home to check on her. Her paw was still a bit swollen but my daughter insisted she come home. This hospital really wowed me and exceeded my expectations! If you are in the market for a vet in NE San Antonio, you won't find another facility that cares more for your pets. I HIGHLY recommend Garden Ridge Pet Hospital-they go above and beyond for your furry friends. Thanks Again for the great care for Buddy and Violet!

We recently had both our kittens declawed at this facility. I had called around and they by far offered the best rate. The facility is clean and beautiful. The staff are wonderful. Buddy was ready to go the day after his surgery. The other kitten, Violet, had to stay because after the surgery she decided to chew at her front right paw. They kept her without charging us any extra and allowed us to visit her when we wanted. They called daily to give us updates. After she chewed at it, the hospital soaked it in Epsom salt twice daily to help relieve the swelling. The office also gave us 2 bags of the appropriate kitty litter that we needed to use after surgery- at no extra cost to us. They even called the day after we took Violet home to check on her. Her paw was still a bit swollen but my daughter insisted she come home. This hospital really wowed me and exceeded my expectations! If you are in the market for a vet in NE San Antonio, you won't find another facility that cares more for your pets. Dr. Kevin saved my dogs life! Without my knowledge, our pomeranian ate one of my prescription pills that she found on the floor. By the time we got her there, she was barely breathing. Dr. Templeman took her in the back room, put her on oxygen and sat with her until she was ready to go home. I didn't know it until he told me that she had actually stopped breathing, and at that point, he didn't think she would live. She did make it and has suffered no problems since. I will always take my pets to this office!

Normally when a dog dies under the care of a vet, they are compassionate. These folks killed my dog. Even when I returned the next day with her having obvious signs of distress, they prescribed her cough medicine. Later that day when I took her to the emergency clinic, she was beyond saving. The staff at the e-clinic was stunned that a vet couldn't recognize the distress. They will claim she was old and had issues. She was old, but had a good heart and her condition didn't affect her heart. Never got a call or a card from these folks. Heartless. I tell everyone new to the area to stay as far away as possible.

Dr. Kevin Templeton has been seeing my 4 dogs and 1 cat over the past several months. He always spends lots of time with them and is very thorough. He explains everything he does and seems to be a genuinely good hearted person. The Tech's, Veterinary Assistants and support staff have always been extremely courteous and friendly. The clinic is always very clean and I have never had to wait for more than a couple of minutes. I am delighted to have found this Veterinary Clinic so near home and so caring. Best Veterinary Care experience I have had in years.

Look no further, this is the animal hospital for your pets. I have been taking my dog and two cats here for the last 13 years (in the old Live Oak location and now Garden Ridge). Drs. Templeman are kind and caring with my pets (who are not always easy going) and I always feel they treat them the same way they would their own. I absolutely love the front desk and all the staff. Even when it's been a while since I visit, they know my pets name and always offer a friendly environment. The prices are very reasonable and it is a family atmosphere. I wouldn't take my babies anywhere else.

I had been going to Garden Ridge for 9 years and have always been pleased with their service. I have two cats and Kevin and Elizabeth have always been great with them. I can tell that both doctors really cared about my cats. One time one of my cats had to get his teeth extracted and while driving him home, my cat had started panicking and ripping off the gauze wrap that was on his arm which caused him to smear blood everywhere. I had brought him back to the vet right away and the doctors had allowed me to keep my cat at the hospital overnight with no additional charge. Cost has always been reasonable. If I did not have to move away from Texas, I would still have Garden Ridge as my vet. Besides the doctors, the ladies at the front desk can sometimes be iffy. Some days they can be rude and some days they can be very nice. There are times when I have called to ask a question about my cats and have felt that they would answer the questions as if I was dumb or bothering them. Throughout the 9 years, their customer service skills hasn't really improved. So in conclusion, the doctors are excellent! The ladies at the front desk are kinda meh.

While everyone at GRAH is nice, I cannot recommend them for pet care for geriatric dogs. After having my dog's teeth cleaned, the next day, they failed to recognize the early stages of congestive heart failure, something my dog had never experienced. The day after that, she was gone. I think it takes a more experienced vet to deal with older dogs and surgeries. I changed vets because of proximity.....something I wish I had never done. Make the doctors explain everything to you before have a procedure. Be informed.

He explains everything he does and seems to be a genuinely good hearted person. The Tech's, Veterinary Assistants and support staff have always been extremely courteous and friendly. The clinic is always very clean and I have never had to wait for more than a couple of minutes. I am delighted to have found this Veterinary Clinic so near home and so caring. Best Veterinary Care experience I have had in years.

Look no further, this is the animal hospital for your pets. I have been taking my dog and two cats here for the last 13 years (in the old Live Oak location and now Garden Ridge). Drs. Templeman are kind and caring with my pets (who are not always easy going) and I always feel they treat them the same way they would their own. I absolutely love the front desk and all the staff. Even when it's been a while since I visit, they know my pets name and always offer a friendly environment. The prices are very reasonable and it is a family atmosphere. I wouldn't take my babies anywhere else.

I had been going to Garden Ridge for 9 years and have always been pleased with their service. I have two cats and Kevin and Elizabeth have always been great with them. I can tell that both doctors really cared about my cats. One time one of my cats had to get his teeth extracted and while driving him home, my cat had started panicking and ripping off the gauze wrap that was on his arm which caused him to smear blood everywhere. I had brought him back to the vet right away and the doctors had allowed me to keep my cat at the hospital overnight with no additional charge. Cost has always been reasonable. If I did not have to move away from Texas, I would still have Garden Ridge as my vet. Besides the doctors, the ladies at the front desk can sometimes be iffy. Some days they can be rude and some days they can be very nice. There are times when I have called to ask a question about my cats and have felt that they would answer the questions as if I was dumb or bothering them. Throughout the 9 years, their customer service skills hasn't really improved. So in conclusion, the doctors are excellent! The ladies at the front desk are kinda meh.

While everyone at GRAH is nice, I cannot recommend them for pet care for geriatric dogs. After having my dog's teeth cleaned, the next day, they failed to recognize the early stages of congestive heart failure, something my dog had never experienced. The day after that, she was gone. I think it takes a more experienced vet to deal with older dogs and surgeries. I changed vets because of proximity.....something I wish I had never done. Make the doctors explain everything to you before have a procedure. Be informed.
