Just went today.... worst bunch of liars I have ever seen. Went today to get my dog shots ..was told last year that I needed two years of rabies in a row to get the 3-year rabies. Now today they're telling me I'm 2 days past the due date. To get the 3- year.... I was told that it was a Texas state law that you couldn't wait past 1 day.I know for a fact that they were lying to me because there is no such law. I told the supervisor it was not true and I wanted a copy of that law. Then they finally tell me it's a policy not a law. I just think it's funny people that work at a vet think they can make up things that the normal folks won't realize are lies. I was very upset I called them all liars and they threw me out... Everytime I try to go here the receptionist ,an older woman is so rude !she gives me a hard time when I'm trying to buy anything, flea medicine ear cleaner anything ,she's very mean to me and loves to tell me no.this place went down hill fast. I have been coming to Petmobile since 2000. I used to go to the mobile clinics, but prefer the hospital during the summer. I have seen many of the employees come and go. The one constant has always been Dr. Henson. She was there for my family in 2010 when we had to send our 16 yr old Beatrice to the Rainbow Bridge. We are getting ready to send our 13 yr old, Max on that journey, and hope she will be there for him. I am doing this review for the staff of Petmobile who seem to be getting a bad rap in these reviews. I would give them a 4 1/4 star if possible. They have always been kind to me and my family. I have seen them getting yelled at by clients who are frustrated with wait times, or how much things cost. (Which I found is cheaper than a lot of other vets in the area.) I once saw a man throw a pen at one of the receptionists. In my day, you didn't treat people like that. They smile and take the abuse and try to calm the situation. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Give them a try if you want good service and people who truly want to help your pets. I would suggest you go someplace else if you need something done fast. The people that work here are extremely nice. My dog has had allergy issues for the last 2 years and my previous vet was of no use. I brought my dog here one time and now she has stopped itching. I don't ever have a bad experience. I understand the wait will be a bit long but I make sure I have the time. I'm not sure I could afford the care and medications for my older dog if not for you guys. When I brought her in two years ago, I did not think she'd be alive a month or two later. With her heart meds and diet, she runs in the backyard and is happy wagging her tail. She has more energy than her family some days! This is a customer service/treatment rating: I'm in my 60's and have two miniature Schnauzers. I try to get their shots thru Petmobile Hospital every year, even though they are a 30 minute drive from my home in Richardson. My morning coffee had hit me, but I knew they had a restroom they allow customers to use in the past. When I took the two dogs in in the morning on 18 Apr 2018 for their shots, one of my dogs became excited from the other dogs in the lobby and urinated on the floor in 3 spots. I asked the woman at the desk if could use their restroom, and I could also get paper towels to clean up the mess my dog had made. She pointed a cleaning supplies in the lobby, so I cleaned up the mess while trying to maintain control of my dogs, and have to use the restroom desperately myself. Once the dog urine was cleaned up, I asked again if I could use their restroom, in which the older woman closest to the entrance informed me they don't allow the "public to use their restroom". I then informed her we would be leaving. Instead of trying to find a service station that would allow dogs to accompany me to the restroom, I made a dash back home. Afterward, I found that there is a Texas Coalition For Pet Protection in Allen that is much closer to my home. The staff there is much more friendly to customers, and more attentive to the pets. Their prices aren’t worth it!!!!!!! They are rude!!!! They don’t clean well and I’m almost certain that’s where my dog got infected with parvo. This was my first visit and had no idea how things are done there, when she called me back she just stopped expecting me to know what she wanted me to do, I when I realized we were by the scale I asked her if she wanted me to weigh him and she still did not even look at me and said "YES", not my job but okay.....there was more but honestly I just felt like I was bothering her (her phone keep going off so maybe that was more important???) For vaccines, their low cost days are wonderful. They have a very organized system, average of an hour, but still worth the much affordable prices. Now the clinic should you see a doctor is very lengthy, in past occasions we've spent 3 or 4 hours waiting for our pet to be seen, but we understand there's only one doctor treating all the patients that go in, and they're still very caring for the pets well-being . I don't like that they perform declawing surgeries there though, as no animal should have their toes amputated at the knuckle, it's just cruel, but that's an issue many vets office still need to work on. Overall, I still recommend this place as every time we've needed to take our pets there, they have seen them, be compassionate, caring, and overall made us comfortable to be returning customers. I am very happy with the treatment of my dog. Went to the onsite petmobile in the early afternoon. I did have to wait a little while because they were treating a sick puppy. My dogs spaying done in this place last week. Ever since her breast got swollen and reddish in color. I called them for an appointment yesterday and the staff told me the walk in starts at 11:00 am and dont need an appointment. We went there this morning at 10:15 they told me they can't see my dong sooner because I don't have an appointment!!. Because of my dog situation I waited till 12:15. They called me in at 12:15 and anothe technician came and took her vitals. Again another long wait. Finally I was tired and opened the door and just look outside to let them know that we are waiting . I believe the doctor looked at me and asked another staff to close the door. I told the staff I'm waiting for 3 hours and I have to go to work. They locked the door . Finally I'm tired and walk out through the othe door. They have no respect for your time . Poor care and handling of animals, they hurt my dogs. They were bleeding from the shots and also my dog tried to bite the vet from being rough. These people killed my dog I had him for 17 years he had never been sick in his whole life I took him to petmobile for having a bad cough ..He fell out once I got him there the doctors got him said he had a slow heart rate of 20 beats my Dogg was just having a good day the day before he was a long haired Chihuahua....They was not caring as I hollerd cried seeped & begged to help him ...They just wanted to kill him....I miss my Dogg so much that was my kid...They didn't care how I felt ....I've never had a dog before him I got him at 8 weeks in 1999....I feel so so bad that I took my Dogg to this place just to die.... I've been using this hospital for years! I'm talking way back since 2003! I've been bringing my dog here for years and it's the only animal clinic he has been to. He gets his shots done here and checkups. For thanksgiving we went out of town and decided to give this place a try with their boarding hotel since we've always used Waggin tails in Plano which I recommend by the way. Any who this was our first time leaving him there and when we got back 3 days later to pick him up not only was his nose cut and bleeding BUT he was petrified to death! I'm talking about shaking and scared of everything and anything! I don't know what they did to him but whatever they did it was for surely brutal! Ive had one of the best vet experieneces as a pet mommy in a long time. I attended their vaccination clinic which they do minor pet exams. We brought in our 4mo old kitten and Dr. Henson was the one who examed her. She was very thorough and you can tell she really cares for animals. As we were leaving, my baby had a terrible reaction to the rabies vaccine and Dr. Henson was very quick on helping her. Im so thankful we didnt leave as we stayed another 4 hours with our pet as she was recieving fluids and medicine. We are home now and she is back to being her cute, sassy self. Yes, the wait can be long but its so worth it as their staff genuinely care for the animals and they do the best they can trying to be as fast as they can. One of the reasons they can take so long is because they are genuinely caring for your pet and giving it attention. And the best part is, their prices are very reasonable. I have a major concern as I have never had this issue after getting shots, last minute I moved and my litter of Yorkies 6 total needed their shots. Shortly after shots they got a virus, luckily saved 5 of them with medicine and lost one. Has anyone else had this issue after using this place for vaccines? i was here for the whole day literally, and waited extra 45 for the doctor, with no appointments. They got $318 from us and my dog is still is the same even worse probably. Even after putting all these fluids in her. They didn't even know what was wrong with her, i understand that, but they are professional vets, and we could easily have googled the symptoms. And there were only 2 doctors. A poor dog could be getting worse and dehydrated by the second/hours you have to wait. They gave us a medication, but you guessed it, it didn't help at all. I adopted a sweet puppy from the clinic last week 12/5/15 his name was Runt. He was found in horrible shape, he was well taken care of when I adopted him. He found a forever home with us and was already spayed, up to date on shots, and flea/heart worm medicine. The clinic has a special place in their hearts for the animals they help. The clinic is busy and the shot clinics are even busier. If you are in a hurry I suggest you schedule appointments. It is worth it for the kind of care this office gives to their profession. I took in my baby kitten crystal to get her first shots and rabies shots there, the girl staff were okay on complimenting my pet, but when the vet came out to give her the shots he was a complete jerk to me and my dad, my dad doesn't speak english very well, but i noticed right away his sarcasm and this place needs to be shut down, I have never been to such a bad business in my life i also urged my dad to never come to this place ever again he's been bringing his past pets to this location so It's a little hard for him to get a new vet but I rather spend a couple of more bucks than have such a jerk vet laugh and use sarcasm towards us in such a rude way. Petmobile took one of my dogs in when she was having puppies and one got stuck. They took her straight in and tried to get the pup out before a c-section. That didn't work so they did a csection and saved 5 beautiful puppies. The doctors incision was beautiful and Bella came out with no issues whatsoever, hardly even has a scar from it. The vet techs are great and all seem to really care about the animals. We have been clients of petmobile for about 10 years now and would never go to anyone else. When Bella had to go under for surgery, they made me sign a consent for IV cath but I opted out. That is up to the clients. Petmobile is a great hospital. We took our 6 month old boxer, Summer, to get spayed on Tuesday, October 12th. At 2:30pm my brother received a call from the clinic saying that Summer passed away. We were in shock because this type of procedure is done on countless dogs every single day. When we arrived at the clinic to pick up Summer's body, I asked to speak to the ""vet"" who performed the surgery (keep in mind Summer had ALWAYS been a very healthy dog and I will let you know that Summer was in there a week before for her check up). The response I first received was that Summer's lungs filled up with fluid. Nothing was making sense to me because Summer woke up from surgery and all her vitals were great. The clinic as well does not give their animals IV's so it was not that. The vet claimed that the pets are checked on every 10 minutes when they are in the observation area. This is where things turned because I told the vet that I am a nursing student and I am very well aware of how the body works (because an animal's body is virtually the same as in a human). When I told the vet, she immediately advised me that she really was not sure and she was in shock. She could not explain to me what happened with Summer. I explained to her that even IF Summer would have had fluids in her lungs Summer would have experiences clear symptoms and there would have been enough time to actually do something for her. When we received Summer's body we noticed her belly area was swollen and bruised. Everything the vet told me did not add up and now two days later, we are asking for a written statement from her so that a vet (who we explained the situation to) can review all Summer's medical records. When we explained the situation to the vet, he said nothing added up. He will be reviewing all her medical records (including her written statement) and we will then pursue to file against the board as well as suing them. We did not mean any harm to our beautiful baby, Summer. Our hearts are broken. This was a huge injustice to such a wonderful companion because of negligence. I BEG you please do not let this happen to your companion. It is such a horrible feeling losing a member of our family like this; the best thing we can do for Summer now is make sure that this does not happen to someone else's companion Read Less

I can't think of one positive thing to say about this place. How they remain in business is a mystery, first you have to deal with the rude receptionists and then the poor level of pet care by the techs and veterinarians, then to really put the finishing touches on your visit they'll hike up the 'low fees' with hidden extra charges. Be careful your pet isn't dying, really sick. We took our maltese Monday evening. Either a bite or something caused him to pass out and vomit and become unconscious. We rushed him over there and the lady said, O we can't take him. We already have 2 dogs and we close in 2 minutes. I hope the county closes their business.
