I have taken my two cats, three dogs, and bunny to this vet for years and it is the best one I have been to. They are very nice and don't include any unnecessary procedures or medicines to add to cost like some other vets I have been to. The staff is amazing and whether you're there for a check up, grooming, day care, or to say goodbye to a loved pet, they are helpful, kind and respectful.

We did have records, they were turned away because they were from another vet. We had both a rabies tag and paper records. My dog was in liver failure. His body couldn't handle having extra shots to pad your profit margins.
This has nothing to do with safety or state law. I have never been to a vet that did things this way. Are you telling me every other vet is unsafe and breaking the law?

I just left an appointment for my dog. I was absolutely blown away by the love and care of the staff. The vet sat on the floor with my shy terrier so Daisy could get to know her. The staff went above and beyond to make my shy pup feel like a Queen. I’m so thankful I found this place and will not be going anywhere else.

While I like the services provided to our pets, it is very challenging to get hold of them on the phone. It seems like no one is manning the phones starting a bit before noon to nearly 2PM. This has happened across multiple days/appointments, so it does not seem to be a temporary staffing issue. While I understand that everyone needs to take a lunch, that is also one of the most common times of the day a customer has availability to call.

I'd been going to a vet in Austin for years. However, you always have to call weeks ahead of time to get an appointment. When my dog was experiencing severe breathing problems, I called my usual vet. They said that I could drop her off that afternoon or bring her in the next day. Are you kidding me? This is where Georgetown Veterinary Hospital stepped in and saved me. I called them in a minor panic and explained the situation. They told me to come in and they would check her out right away. They were extremely sweet to my puppy (and the freaking out human) and saw us quickly. Unfortunately, upon getting xrays, we had to take my dog on to the emergency vet and in the end had to put her to sleep. However, without Georgetown Veterinary Hospital, we wouldn't have been able to deal with the situation as quickly as we did and my baby didn't have to suffer for long. They called the ER vet and got them our info so we wouldn't have to waste any time. They even sent a sympathy card with a sweet note from the vet and staff who saw her. It may not seem like much, but when you are grieving, it helps. We just recently got a puppy and when we took her back here to see Dr. Long, she expressed her sympathies for our loss and was willing to answer any questions or worries I had with my new pup. Its the little things that make the difference and I can tell that this place really cares. My husband and I have no doubts that we have found our "forever vet" :)

We wanted to thank everyone for helping us through the roughest day of our life. Our boxer Shamrock was sick and needed to go to the Rainbow Bridge. I called in the morning and they got us in without any hesitation. We came in the office and they ushered us right back to a room that was already set up for us. They let us bring our other boxer with. The vet and her assistant were so sweet and kind to us and made us feel so loved. They let us stay for as long as we needed and didn't make us feel rushed. They gave us a clay paw print with her name stamped in it. That made our kids day, as they weren't there to say goodbye. Thank you again for helping us in our time of need!

I had to find a vet---cause mine was not available. These Dr's were recommented by my daughter. I called--having made that decision to 'say goodbye' to my "perfect dog" Zoey. It was time--and an agonizing decision for 2 weeks. and then-not to have the vet I've had for 29 yrs. BUT---the entire staff---the ones that interacted in any way with me---were not just professional but so very empathetic. They got me in---asap. and were sensitive--and kind--to the max. Saying goodbye was so very hard---but they made it easy for her. and were so wonderful to me.

My first experience with Dr. Haley was the worst day of my existence as a pet parent. Dr. Haley made a house call when it was time for our dog Maggie to leave us. Her gracious visit helped make a terrible necessity a kind and peaceful moment for all of us, especially for Maggie.

After reading all the great reviews I really wanted to take my puppy here. When I scheduled my first appointment, somehow it didn't make it into the appointment book. Turns out it was due to the clinic being moved into a new building and new techs being trained. I was a bit upset due to having to reschedule and rearrange my schedule a bit, but since there are so many great reviews I rescheduled and I'm very glad I did. The clinic fitted me in for the next day after my appointment should have been so that minimized any inconvenience, and the staff and vet were so wonderful and kind to both my child and our puppy! They were also so patient with my many, many questions, even though I was the last appointment of the day and we went a bit over closing time (sorry guys!). We saw Dr. Long, who is not listed on their website yet, and I was very pleased with how thorough she was with the exam, and when she gave our puppy her shots, the puppy didn't even whimper! All in all, it was an awesome experience and I will definitely be bringing our puppy back to this clinic. As a side note, the new clinic building looks awesome, and they sell these wonderful pet odor eliminator candles that smell sooo good! I bought the last one they had so I hope they'll be getting some more in soon.

I have taken my two cats, three dogs, and bunny to this vet for years and it is the best one I have been to. They are very nice and don't include any unnecessary procedures or medicines to add to cost like some other vets I have been to. Refused to see my dog. Would not accept shots given by another vet.
On edit in response to owner comment:
We did have records, they were turned away because they were from another vet. We had both a rabies tag and paper records. My dog was in liver failure. His body couldn't handle having extra shots to pad your profit margins.
This has nothing to do with safety or state law. I have never been to a vet that did things this way. Are you telling me every other vet is unsafe and breaking the law?

I just left an appointment for my dog. I was absolutely blown away by the love and care of the staff. The vet sat on the floor with my shy terrier so Daisy could get to know her. The staff went above and beyond to make my shy pup feel like a Queen. I’m so thankful I found this place and will not be going anywhere else.

While I like the services provided to our pets, it is very challenging to get hold of them on the phone. It seems like no one is manning the phones starting a bit before noon to nearly 2PM. This has happened across multiple days/appointments, so it does not seem to be a temporary staffing issue. While I understand that everyone needs to take a lunch, that is also one of the most common times of the day a customer has availability to call.

Dr. Haley did a great job at explaining and helping us when our cat was sick. As a college student vet visits are always hard on the wallet, but they were affordable and helped me through everything.

The staff have been great and prices are reasonable (I have 4 animals, so things add up quick). Recently I left for a trip and used their boarding services and was so pleased with the experience.

I'd been going to a vet in Austin for years. However, you always have to call weeks ahead of time to get an appointment. When my dog was experiencing severe breathing problems, I called my usual vet. They said that I could drop her off that afternoon or bring her in the next day. Are you kidding me? This is where Georgetown Veterinary Hospital stepped in and saved me. I called them in a minor panic and explained the situation. They told me to come in and they would check her out right away. They were extremely sweet to my puppy (and the freaking out human) and saw us quickly. Unfortunately, upon getting xrays, we had to take my dog on to the emergency vet and in the end had to put her to sleep. However, without Georgetown Veterinary Hospital, we wouldn't have been able to deal with the situation as quickly as we did and my baby didn't have to suffer for long. They called the ER vet and got them our info so we wouldn't have to waste any time. They even sent a sympathy card with a sweet note from the vet and staff who saw her. It may not seem like much, but when you are grieving, it helps. We just recently got a puppy and when we took her back here to see Dr. Long, she expressed her sympathies for our loss and was willing to answer any questions or worries I had with my new pup. Its the little things that make the difference and I can tell that this place really cares. My husband and I have no doubts that we have found our "forever vet" :)

We wanted to thank everyone for helping us through the roughest day of our life. Our boxer Shamrock was sick and needed to go to the Rainbow Bridge. I called in the morning and they got us in without any hesitation. We came in the office and they ushered us right back to a room that was already set up for us. They let us bring our other boxer with. The vet and her assistant were so sweet and kind to us and made us feel so loved. They let us stay for as long as we needed and didn't make us feel rushed. They gave us a clay paw print with her name stamped in it. That made our kids day, as they weren't there to say goodbye. Thank you again for helping us in our time of need!

I had to find a vet---cause mine was not available. These Dr's were recommented by my daughter. I called--having made that decision to 'say goodbye' to my "perfect dog" Zoey. It was time--and an agonizing decision for 2 weeks. and then-not to have the vet I've had for 29 yrs. BUT---the entire staff---the ones that interacted in any way with me---were not just professional but so very empathetic. They got me in---asap. and were sensitive--and kind--to the max. Saying goodbye was so very hard---but they made it easy for her. and were so wonderful to me.

My first experience with Dr. Haley was the worst day of my existence as a pet parent. There are not enough words to say how wonderful and caring she was even though we had not yet been in since she took over. 10+ years, two more losses, and two new additions later I continue to be happy with how wonderful everyone is each and every time I go in. Follow up phone calls just make it better.

Dr. Haley made a house call when it was time for our dog Maggie to leave us. Her gracious visit helped make a terrible necessity a kind and peaceful moment for all of us, especially for Maggie.

After reading all the great reviews I really wanted to take my puppy here. When I scheduled my first appointment, somehow it didn't make it into the appointment book. Turns out it was due to the clinic being moved into a new building and new techs being trained. I was a bit upset due to having to reschedule and rearrange my schedule a bit, but since there are so many great reviews I rescheduled and I'm very glad I did. The clinic fitted me in for the next day after my appointment should have been so that minimized any inconvenience, and the staff and vet were so wonderful and kind to both my child and our puppy! They were also so patient with my many, many questions, even though I was the last appointment of the day and we went a bit over closing time (sorry guys!). We saw Dr. Long, who is not listed on their website yet, and I was very pleased with how thorough she was with the exam, and when she gave our puppy her shots, the puppy didn't even whimper! All in all, it was an awesome experience and I will definitely be bringing our puppy back to this clinic. As a side note, the new clinic building looks awesome, and they sell these wonderful pet odor eliminator candles that smell sooo good! I bought the last one they had so I hope they'll be getting some more in soon.
