This place really went to crap after Dr. Kennon left. We had been bringing our pets here for years when, about a year ago, my mom's Great Dane suddenly had an intestinal issue and had to be put to sleep- the vet came out to the car with the techs and she was just so incredibly rude and short-tempered. They were annoyed that they had to wait while we carried a 150 pound sick dog from the car to the exam room, then dismissed us by saying, "You can't be in here until the end." We had to wait in the waiting room for fifteen minutes while they "prepared" her, then we were finally able to come back in at the last minute. I know it was an unexpected visit, but there weren't even any condolences from the staff as my mom cried, (although they did send a card later). The only staff person who exhibited any pleasantries was the office manager who accepted payment for the services. It was just a completely different experience from when Dr. Kennon had to put our Golden Retriever down several years prior. When it was time to put down a beloved seventeen year old cat this week, we knew we had to find a new clinic. We went to Georgetown Veterinary Hospital, the staff was so compassionate and amazing. It just reiterated what a terrible experience we had with the new owner at Northwest, so I was compelled to come share about the experience. If you're looking for a new doctor for your fur-friends, and are considering Northwest, keep shopping. Read Less
