I've been going to my vet for years now. They're reasonably priced and have always treated my fur babies with care. The staff love to see my pups and with the amount of pups and one cat, there have been times that I feel like I have lived there. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Although we didn't interact much with Dr. Klein, as she was also attending to an emergency situation, she was kind and thorough. We needed to leave our little girl with them for a complete workup and Dr. Raasch (sp) followed up when we returned for her. We waited quite awhile, but understand how that can happen when there is no standard timeframe on pet care. There are so many variables. I took our dogs in to get their stitches and staples removed (from an unfortunate fight). I pulled in to find an empty parking lot and realized that they are closed on Wednesdays. I should've checked their hours ahead of time. I guess their Sr. Tech, Hollie, was there on her day off. She came out and brought me in to take the stiches/sraples out of both dogs, despite the fact that they were closed. Saved me from making a 2nd trip and wasting paid leave from work! Read Less

Wonderful staff who took excellent care of my dog through his surgery! Always available to make an appointment when really needed, even if it happens to be last minute day of. When we show up for our appointment we never have to wait too long to be seen. Their prices are also VERY affordable, especially compared to those in the surrounding area. Friendly people working there. Unfortunately waiting 45 minutes in a room with 3 dogs was not fun. 45 min beyond appointment time with one dog shaking the entire time. Lots of conversations going on in back room while we were waiting. We were ready to leave. My dogs are treated well, but this last visit for shots, exams, and one med was quite expensive. Moral: Retired people can't afford to take all three dogs to the vet at once. I will know better next time. Read Less

Over the phone the receptionist had a hard time hearing me, which seemed to frustrate her resulting in a rude attitude. Also, the vets daughter, maybe 4 years old, is always crawling on the counters and eating dog treats. They would even leave her unattended in the rooms with me, making me her babysitter during my appointments. Although the staff seemed nice, overall they were very unprofessional and I won't be returning.Read Less

They wanted to keep my 18 yr old cat until they could get around to her. We had an appointment. We waited. A pup with parvo came in so we wait in the room longer. A Jr vet we had never met didn't understand that she was too stressed to leave with all that noise. He started sounding like a used car salesman. He spent 10 minutes arguing why I should leave her. I pointed out he could have already examined her. I would come back. He begrudgingly capitulated. Said airways good & heart fine. He suggested a steroid & antibiotic. Then changed his mind saying probably allergies. Give 10mg Claritin 2 times a day. Sunday we were at vet emergency. Read Less

good pricing, but does not return calls at all and does not address questions/issues unless called over and over. very frustrating.  Also, the vet brings her child (a two year old) to work.  During my appt. far more time was spent by the techs and vet redirecting the child (Lots of interruptions!), who, like a two year old does, touched everything, sprayed everything, opened everything, yelled, etc. so be aware. Brought my sons kitty here- she was found dumped in a park at 4 weeks old. The vets were very helpful in checking her out to make sure she was healthy. They gave us recommended vaccines and spay time frames.  They were very patient and helpful with all of our questions. Read Less

Dr. Klein is attentive and cares about her patients and their owners. She is fair and competitive for the care she gives. She is also one of the few who make ":farm calls" for horses and other large animals and serves her community with sponsorship's etc. Read Less

had been with dr. Kline for many yrs. got sick in nov. and was ill until the end of april. took my dogs in for their annual shots. The exam room smelled so bad that I almost threw up. my vision was impaired from medication and I was kind of foggy. I told the young lady I thought the room smelled like someone messed in there. wrong thing to say. Dr. Kline would not speak to me in the room completely ingnored me. then when I left I was told that I would have to pay almost $60. more to have the perscriptions (3) sent to an acredited pharmacy.nice since my husband had lost his job.we don't go there any more. Dr. Kline and her staff are quite knowledgeable and very compassionate. They go out of their way to make themselves available to you. They are personable and very reasonably priced. The clinic is very well-staffed and is always run professionally and is clean. There are ample examining rooms and everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. They do not charge outrageous prices, yet deliver a quality service and treat the animals very well. I do not hesitate recommending them, giving them 5 stars, and I rarely give 5 stars. Today's service world, typically, is continually providing less service, in spite of rising costs. You'll find that to 'not' be the case with Hooves and Paws. They are a 'rare breed' and an 'excellent find'. They actually take the time to listen to you, addressing all your concerns. I have many pets and have been to this clinic on multiple occasions; including routine and emergency visits. With each visit, I have found their service to consistently meet this review. My family first came to know the wonderful people at Hooves and Paws when we sought care for my 12 year old Boston Terrier who had been injured by a car.
