We have been taking our animals to Animal Medical Center of Highland Village since we returned to Texas in 2006. The staff has always been helpful and courteous. Of course we do have our favorites but overall everyone is very nice and they all love animals. We take our cat to Dr. McCullough; she is 13 years and actually deals with him quite well. He has a very gentle way with her and never rushes her exam. Our lab goes to Dr. Strauch and he is great with her. The doctors always call us personally with blood test results and we really appreciate the extra care. The premises are spotless and we would not go elsewhere. Our loved Roper crossed over Rainbow Bridge 12/31/16. God gained another Angel today. Ropers strength to fight kidney disease amazed all. Diagnosed at just 2 yrs. old, he lived an activity filled life despite his medical kidney values. His favorites things were riding in Richs diesel truck, hiking vacations with the family, long walks, long runs and his stuffy bear. He preferred anything that involved being on the go. I had a very sick Cocker Spaniel. My former vet had been seeing her since the end of May. She was not getting any better. Vet. stated she had allergies, but his treatment was doing her no good. It was more meds and come back. Aug. 19 she got much worse; laying around, barely getting out of kennel. Definitely not herself. Tried to get her into a vet on 8/20 (Sat) but couldn't. So we made an appt for her for Monday 8/22. We went in and from the time we stepped into their door it was a totally great experience. The front desk employees were attentive and the Vet. Asst was so kind and friendly to our pup. Went back and met Dr. McCullough. We discussed what was going on with our pup and he told me what coarse of treatment he would do. He gave her an injection and meds to take. By Tuesday there was already improvements. She is doing great now, almost 100%. I cannot express how glad I am to have found AMCHV. This is our new home.
