I have been taking my dogs for about 10 yrs, to Doc Jones, he expains everything while the dogs have their exam..He took exellent care of my senior dog in his latter years, helped to prolong the quality of life for my beloved dog, he is a holistic, compassionate, and very knowlegeable, Im so glad to have him, his staff is excellent.

I wouldn't trust my babies to anyone else! I have been taking my pets here since 1999! Dr. Jones and his staff are very caring about the animals, as well as your pocketbook! They can do just about anything, even amputated a leg when my dog needed it due to a Cancerous tumor.

I am extremely picky when it comes to choosing a Veterinary team to care for my pets. Sometimes the Doctor is great and their team is lacking or vise versa. This is not the case at 249 Animal Clinic. Not only is Dr. Jones knowledgeable, he is caring and treats each individual animal to their specific needs. His Nursing team are a wonderful group. They are not just knowledgeable and kind. They go out of their way to make my pet and myself comfortable, even in the worst possible situation. I can't thank them enough for making the last minutes of my incredible dogs life comfortable and peaceful. If you are looking for a great Doctor and staff this is the best place to go. I would recommend them to everyone I know. Also their prices are good and more than reasonable. If you love your pet(s) I would highly recommend 249 Animal Clinic.

We have had 4 of our cats treated by Dr. Jones over the last 4 years. We have been to other vets and they were all good. But Dr. Jones has always gone the extra mile for us. He is extremely compassion...
We have had 4 of our cats treated by Dr. Jones over the last 4 years. We have been to other vets and they were all good. But Dr. Jones has always gone the extra mile for us. He is extremely compassionate, reasonably priced and spends time educating us on what is going on with our pets. Last week we took our very old cat in for an infection and he and his staff once again went above and beyond. They fit her into their schedule and let me drop her off in the morning. She had not been grooming herself and although I had been combing her she needed a bath. Without me saying anything his staff had enough compassion to comb and bathe her and got her all taken care of. She is back to her old self again and out of 5 stars I give them a 7. We are extremely grateful for all of them and Dr. Jones. We would never even consider going anywhere else.

I recently went here because my dog had an allergic reaction. And Although the staff was very friendly and the treatment offered worked out perfectly I was still a little put off by the vet.
He was not rude or anything of the sort, however when the subject of my dog still being intact came up he proceed to tell me that there as a 100% chance of her getting cancer. Not only is this factually incorrect but it's a scare tactic. And although I cannot be sure if he genuinely believes this to be correct, I'm not sure how I feel with a vet that either doesn't have his facts right or is intentionally lying to people in order to "encourage" them to get their dogs fixed.
It's one thing to educate someone on how the likelihood of an intact female getting cancerous tumors is much higher than fixed ones and it's another to say that they would 100% get them if you did not have surgery done.
Although I do intend to get my female spayed, I don't think I'll be coming back here for any other services.

I have found them be professional, up to date with the latest in vet care, willing to work with the clients wishes, and also to go the extra mile for the best care. They are not hard sell and will not talk you into buying things that you do not need. The staff is 1st rate as well!

I will trust Dr. Jones and all his nurses. They are so kind and sympathetic when I lost my dear friend of 14 years. The nurses sent a Condolence card which was over the top. Dr. Jones was not there that day my Fur-baby passed away but the next day Dr. Jones got in the office he called and left a message of his deepest condolences, in which they all did not need to but they really feel for your pet and you also. 249 Animal Clinic will be my top choice when it comes to the well being of all my Fur-babies. So be like me and use their clinic.

Once you get there, i had to pay $22 for med, $220 for cleaning, and another $140 for blood test (they call it optional even though they say it is required for a dog over 7 years old). I would not take my pets to any other vet. Dr Jones knows animals! His staff are knowledgeable and friendly, very courteous and professional. We have been seeing Dr Jones for many, many years and have the utmost confidence in him. I got my puppy in 2010 and when I brought him home from Killeen, he was almost dead, I went to the Emergency vet and they were closing so they sent me to Dr. Jones office right away and he took my baby and brought him back and another time Chuy was really in bad shape and Dr. Jones got to work and saved my pup again, He told me straight up that it was 50/50 cause Chuy was so young and so small and suffered a traumatic injury ,well he did what he did and then Julie took him home for a couple of days and my baby came back fat and doing great, he is 5 now and permanently blind because of the accident but, you can't tell ,he is the best dog I have ever had!! My only regret is I listened to others and went to other vets but, I am going to go back to Dr. Jones because my dogs are like my babies,spoiled and I want the best for them. I have one now who is sick and another vet I took him to charged me lots of money and didn't really do anything, Go see him if you want a great vet, the prices are not cheap but, they are not as high as some other places I have been too. I would recommend him over anyone ...

He is an amazing, caring man who puts his whole heart into what he does. It would be verydifficult for me to change vets. I have had dogs and cats under his care and so has my whole family. I would recommend him and his staff highly. They are professional and caring.

Best veterinary clinic. They do care about the animals health. We came when they were about to close. They saw our dog and stayed after hours. He was bleeding from his tongue they saved his life.

Got the quote for teeth cleaning. It should have been $220 including everything even med. That is the reason why i changed my vet. Once you get there, i had to pay $22 for med, $220 for cleaning, and another $140 for blood test (they call it optional even though they say it is required for a dog over 7 years old). I paid total of $382. The Worst thing was my dog acted very scared ever since he came back from it. I am not going back

I would not take my pets to any other vet. Dr Jones knows animals! His staff are knowledgeable and friendly, very courteous and professional. We have been seeing Dr Jones for many, many years and have the utmost confidence in him. Dr Jones takes the time to answer all of our questions and explains to us what is going on with our pet so we feel confident and assured when we walk out the door.....Awesome staff, awesome Doctor...I highly recommend him.

I have a ShihTzu who is alive today because of Dr.Jones and his staff especially Julie!! I got my puppy in 2010 and when I brought him home from Killeen, he was almost dead, I went to the Emergency vet and they were closing so they sent me to Dr. Jones office right away and he took my baby and brought him back and another time Chuy was really in bad shape and Dr. Jones got to work and saved my pup again, He told me straight up that it was 50/50 cause Chuy was so young and so small and suffered a traumatic injury ,well he did what he did and then Julie took him home for a couple of days and my baby came back fat and doing great, he is 5 now and permanently blind because of the accident but, you can't tell ,he is the best dog I have ever had!! My only regret is I listened to others and went to other vets but, I am going to go back to Dr. Jones because my dogs are like my babies,spoiled and I want the best for them. I have one now who is sick and another vet I took him to charged me lots of money and didn't really do anything, Go see him if you want a great vet, the prices are not cheap but, they are not as high as some other places I have been too. I would recommend him over anyone ...

I have been using Dr. Jones since we moved to Houston in the mid seventies (yes 1970's!!)
He is an amazing, caring man who puts his whole heart into what he does. It would be verydifficult for me to change vets. I have had dogs and cats under his care and so has my whole family. I would recommend him and his staff highly. They are professional and caring.
