I wasn’t going to write a review but after reading the others I had to. I took my 3 day old puppy here because he wasnt eating and was very small. The clinic was my only choice seeing that it was 9am on a Sunday and there were really no places open near me. I paid for the service before my puppy was seen, the puppy was diagnosed with a cleft palate but I wasn’t given any options besides put to sleep and take home to pass. Wh even called back to see if the dog could be placed on oxygen to help with breathing so we could try to bottle feed and the doctor basically just told us no, he didn’t try to stay to answer my questions or anything. He just told us what he wanted and was done with us. I’m so sad and disappointed because if he had been willing to help me do whatever was need to save the puppy my puppy could have at least gotten a little relief. Read Less

Worst place E V E R!!! I found a stray outside of my house with his little eye out of its socket so I took her to the only place I found open at 7pm. The staff was not welcoming and the doctor was a jerk and spoke AT me as if I was dumb. He told me that the pups eye would require surgery and that he would have done it if we would have shown up earlier but since they are closing soon that he couldn’t. Mind you, I called before I showed up to make sure they could help and they asked me to bring her in. I got there and paid the $50 consultation fee only for the doctor to tell me it was too late for him to perform surgery. The second I walked out the room I could hear him talking smack about me because I gave him a piece of my mind. Stay away from this place, they don’t care about your fur friend they are clearly just in it for the money. I wish I could give a negative star rating. Read Less

I took my 6 week old puppy on Thursday night because it was the only place around me open at the time.My puppy got sent home with medicine for hookworms. I was told she was infested and they charged me $218. I brought her back the next day because she could not even stand up. They told me she had white gums. that the hookworms had sucked up all the blood and she needed a blood transfusion which is $1500 and didn't do there. I asked if it would be better to take her somewhere else where they could do the blood transfusion and they said no id be best if you leave her here, she will need this first if it doesn't work then take her elsewhere yo get transfusion. Gave me false hopes and said they've never seem a puppy last that long or fight as much paid $402.00 for hospitalization and IV fluids. I had not signed consents had to drive back and sign. Stoped to see the puppy and she looked worse. He hugged me and said sorry. Told me I had to pick her up at 8pm. because that's the time they close and they dont have anyone over night. They called me back an hour later. and said sorry your puppy didn't make it. I consider that Neglect because they said she needed the blood transfusion and decided to keep her and do something else. I have so much anger towards this place because I should of taken her somewhere else, but I was told I didn't have enough time to save her if I took her somewhere else. If I could leave negative stars I would. The doctor picked up and treated my dog like if she was a toy. Read Less

Only went here because it was the only place open around 8pm. Unprofessional staff. They make you feel like a burden. They don’t greet you. They don’t care for you or your pet. The front staff and the vet tech not only appeared tired, but sick. They did not appear well overall. They had bad attitudes. The vet tech didn’t even pay attention throughout the visit. Nor was she knowledgeable on basic pet care. I asked confirmation of the vet’s directions and she responded with “um” and “I don’t know”. Then a woman in regular clothes was hanging around behind the front counter. Vet was okay. He was hard to understand. Didn’t show any love or compassion to my pet. Disappointed overall. Not coming here again. I will travel a long distance than to come here again. Read Less

This place is absolutely disgusting. I worked here for 4 days and couldn’t stand it anymore to see how they treat the animals in their care and how unsanitary everything is. The boarded dogs are kept in tiny kennels that are FILTHY because nobody cares enough to keep them clean. There are dogs kept in kennels outside that almost never have any water in their bowls when I would walk past, or the water was nasty. All of the dogs have to lay on either cold hard cement outside, or the smaller dogs are kept in cages where they have to stand on metal wire bottoms. A few lucky dogs would have a towel thrown in with them. This is the worst facility I have ever seen and I cannot believe they are still open! Please do not board your pets here or use their veterinary services!!!! This place is just completely unacceptable for a vet clinic. Also, the “vet techs” are not certified, they are just trained to work as a vet tech for dirt cheap pay. Read Less

Worst experience of my families entire life! If you love your pets don't take them here. My family took my turtle here because my dog got ahold of him and chewed him up pretty badly. The doctor knew nothing!!!! The technician was more knowledgeable about my turtle than the actual vet. He was a total fraud, we paid $115 dollars just for the doctor to see him and they refused to clean any wounds unless we paid an additional amount. Once we said we wouldn't pay for x-rays, the doctor kept saying that he "wouldn't make it". He said it right in front of my little sister, that I cannot ever forgive. They just wanted money, they didn't care about our pet in the slightest. I feel terrible for taking our poor turtle there, he deserved better. Glad to say he's doing fine, please don't go there. Okay honestly this place really is a waste. I took my bun here because she had a lump under her chin and snuffles. Another hospital recommended them to me so I figured why not give it a go. Obviously I didn't read the reviews which was the first thing I should have done. 76 bucks just to get the doctor to check her out. The nurses weighed her and asked what was wrong, then the doctor came in. Now like every other bunny, my bun hated being picked up, like absolutely despised it, and I must admit I spoiled her a lot because if she didn't want to be touched I would back off. Dr.Javaid already seemed unprofessional as soon as he walked in. I had a bad vibe from him to be completely honest. He told me to take her out of the cage and place her on the desk. Obviously my bunny was scared because she was in a unfamiliar place and unfamiliar people were touching her so she started to freak out, he literally grabbed her by her neck and held her down. At this point I'm really mad and confused, he literally told me everything I already knew, it's like he did his research from web mD or something. We wasted 185 bucks at the end of the day and my bunny is still sick with a lump. Don't waste your time. Read Less

Zero stars, if I could.Came to pick up puppies that we would be fostering, and Abbott was supposed to be caring for. The waiting room smelled horrendous; we could barely stand it. When we finally received the puppies, one had a severe skin condition and was bleeding in several spots. All three had distended bellies full of worms. All three were also covered in feces, from head to toe. They had never been bathed in their lives, and they had not been treated for their medical conditions. They had been there for 24 hours. On top of it all, the staff does not know a nose from a tail. They are not intelligent, whatsoever. We took our dog here to get spayed because it is where the rescue group we adopted her from said was the closest location to us for them to cover the spay with our $150 adoption fee. When we went to leave I was asked if we wanted pain meds and a cone, I said yes to the pain meds (they had given her none since the operation) and asked if the cone was needed. The lady at the front said no unless she started chewing on the spot after we took the bandage off. At which point I could go buy one from Petco. (Tape wrapped tightly around her 3 times with a small piece of gauze barely covering the spot that hurt her greatly to take off) 3 days later the dog had not noticed the spot or even licked it with us keeping a close eye on her. I then noticed stitches on the carpet when she wet on the floor. The 4th morning the stitches were all of the sudden all gone, yet she still was not chewing on the spot.I took her in immediately and was told that I was supposed to always use a cone, I mentioned I had been told otherwise by the front desk, he then went out and yelled loudly at the staff making my toddler break down crying. He came back in the room and said "you were told to get a cone and you refused to, it is going to cost $185 for me to cut her back open and re-do the stitches or her intestines will fall out)" the rescue group that sent us to the vet refused to cover the cost. So we took her to My Family Vet and they sent us home with meds saying the spot was healed well enough and just to keep a close eye on it.At this point we might still have an issue with a major complication due to the vets mistake of obviously not putting the stitches in correctly, but we will not go back there even if they took responsibility and covered the cost. This is a really nice vet clinic. The first impression when you come in is how clean it is; and there is not a hint of animal odor. I can't say that about the other clinics that I have gone to. I boarded 3 dogs there for a rescue group while they moved to a new location. The vet was really nice, actually talked to me to tell me how they are doing when I phoned to get their update. He offered to see me to discuss their health. The dogs had to stay there for 3 weeks. I went ot visit them a week after I dropped them off, the staff was so nice to let me use an exam room so that I can spend time with each of the dogs. The dogs were walked 3 times a days. They are kept in a/c at night and big kennel each during the day. All the ladies that work there have been there more than 10 years. That says a lot about the vet/owner. Although I am not a regular there, I would feel comfortable having my animals treated here (if I live closer). I would recommend this clinic and the vet. They also offer rescue groups special boarding price. Overall a very nice vet clinic with the right mind for animal welfare. Read Less

I gave this 1 star only bc you have to...otherwise it would be 1/2 if they are lucky!I took my 5 month old Yorkie in last night bc I thought she may have broke her leg. I am new to this area so I looked for a vet that was open late (my vet was already closed) I mistakenly went her bc I thought I could save a little $. I called to let them know I was on my, asked if there was a wait and the front lady (Susan I believe very nice) said no there was no wait how long would it take me to get there, I guessed about 30 minutes. Upon arriving they wanted to take my Exam fee up front, told her I would pay all at once. I was taken back into a room and waited for about 30 minutes (keep in mind I am the ONLY one here) Dr. finally comes in and says sorry I was out running an errand. I thought in my head really?? But I stayed bc I of course wanted my dog leg looked at. He briefly examined her and proceeded to tell me that my dog was FULL of ear mites. I was confused since I wasn't there for that, but naturally understood since he did exam her. The vet then started telling me that my vet obviously did not know what he was doing since she had ear mites. He kept going on and on and on about these DAMN ear mites. I finally was like look I am here for what I think is a broken leg I am pretty sure that ear mites is 2ndry to that. He then ordered an xray told me that my puppy would need to stay over night and they would call me sometime the next morning. My gut feeling at this point said take your dog and run bc this vet was just rubbing me the wrong way. So, that is what I did, left called my vet and took her in first thing this morning. I informed my vet of what happened and was told that they used to refer their patients there but no longer do anymore bc of issues that were happening. So I am glad I waited she did great last night and now I am waiting for my vet to examine her and tell me the news! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!! Read Less

Customer Service Much?*SHOCKINGLY* and *ASTOUNDINGLY* poor behavior of office staff/manager, including seriously questionable practices. Several people witnessed staff member berate customer. Jan. 2 - Took feral cat to vet for spay/release and paid $200 deposit. Jan. 2 - Received call that feral cat bit staff person so they couldn't do anything, and that the cat would have to be quarantined for 10 days. Jan. 3 - Went to vet to take cat to Harris County for quarantine and was told that cat couldn't be removed from premises. NOT TRUE.Jan. 3 - Was reimbursed $130 and told that they were keeping $70 for the ALLEGED exam (that couldn't take place because of the bite). Jan. 3 - Asked to see notes about ALLEGED exam that cost $70. Jan. 3 - Office manager argues that customer can't see notes. Customer says you can't bill me if there was no exam. Office manager disappears for four minutes and returns with "notes." HERE IS WHERE IT GETS EVEN MORE INTERESTINGJan. 3 - Customer left with notes and noticed they were dated Jan. 3. Customer returns to point out that these notes must have been falsified while customer was waiting because the person accidentally put Jan. 3 instead of Jan. 2, when alleged exam took place. Jan. 3 - Office manager screams at customer that they don't even need the $70 if customer files a complaint.Jan. 3 - Customer says if they don't need $70, they could just refund it as a matter of customer service.Jan. 3 - Customer calls to speak to vet and is given the run-around by office manager.

Read Less
