They have a service where you can drop your pet off in the morning and then pick him/her up in the afternoon. I tried this for the first time and the LAST time this week with my 7 year old cat who had never been "dropped off" at a vet before. Dropping off, was simple and easy. Felt like everything would be fine. Around 2:00 PM, I called to check on her and the Tech that answered let me know that she was doing fine, they were still waiting on test results to come back, she was sleeping in her carrier, and that it should be about 5 PM when she is done. Ok, not a problem.I then head over there around 5 since I was already in the area and don't live super close. When I get there, the same Tech lets me know it will be about 15 minutes before she is ready. I was fine with that, could do some shopping anyway. Then, within 5 minutes of shopping, I am called over because my cat "can't be handled". At this point, I'm thinking, "this has never happened before". I get back there and my cat is acting VERY aggressive, to the point that she could possibly hurt me. I was shocked by this! 20 minutes later, I am able to kennel her safely.I was then told at at check-out that nothing was performed on her, except her temperature, and that they couldn't get any other services in because of my cat's behavior. A lot of thoughts are going through my head at this point:1. I called at 2:00 PM and they said they were waiting on test results to come back. I kindly asked the Tech at this point what that meant. Her answer, "there weren't any tests done". Oh, ok??? SO I WAS LIED TO?2. When I walked in, you told me she would be "finished up" in 15 minutes. I get back there, and nothing has been done at all???Maybe because you waited, obviously, until 5 PM to try and service an animal that is number one, 7 years old, number 2, a cat, and number 3 that has been kenneled ALL DAY. I would be upset too!!Are you kidding me? My cat was in a small cage for 9 hours? For nothing? If there was an issue, I should have been told at 2:00 PM when I called to check. Never again! Not only was I lied to and disrespected, but my animal was as well. Shame on you, Banfield. Read Less
