The first time I went to this vet was 20 years ago. It was an awesome experience. The vets totally cared for the animals, it wasn’t fancy but it was affordable and definitely trying to help make the world a better place. It has now been taken over by other doctors and has become incredibly fancy. Everything has been remodeled. They totally care about things and looks, animals... well, only if you pay them to. The prices have increased ten times. Bellaire? Please, stop trying so hard you’re in Sharpstown. I have taken so many animals here especially lately, I’m doing my best to help as many dogs and cats as I can. I’m trying so hard to make sure I can help control the pet population. This vet has been really convenient, but I can’t afford it. They refused to honor a special deal to neuter two cats I recently found because I couldn’t find one on the day of the special. The very next day the price went up over 4 times the amount, but don’t worry they’ll have a special next year. Thanks for your help on that pet population. I have been overcharged multiple times this year for multiple animals. I’ve been a customer for 20 years! I’m trying to help save lives. Thanks for caring for the animals it really shows with all the money in your pockets, your remodeled building and your expensive photos on your walls! Great job!! The front desk staff is still awesome, but Dr Beckham couldn’t even get on the phone to back up his decision. He made the front staff do the dirty work.

I found this place through Google. Took our rescued cat there for an exam and vaccines. It was quick and easy. As a first time pet owner, it's great to have knowledgeable staff there to help answer my questions. They were all really friendly and helpful throughout our first visit. Our cat was very comfortable there too. I would highly recommend!

Been coming to Bellaire-Richmond for over 20 years. Staff is pleasant & knowledgeable and the Docs are the best! Dr. Kennedy did a tricky operation on my cat and he is purrrfect now. Doc Garza is gentle and kind. Dr. White, if he hasn't retired yet, helped me raise my Jimi from the day he was born. Love, love, love these folks!

Bellaire Richmond Pet Hospital has treated my dog, Cricket, for the past 13+ years. I liked the original veterinarians very much, and those men have retired now. A new group of veterinarians has now taken over, and they are just as wonderful as the original group, which makes me very grateful. I especially like & use Dr. Kennedy (she's wonderful!), who always takes time to answer my questions. She truly cares about my dog's quality of life, and I appreciate her advice so much. She didn't make me feel rushed even though I had so many questions at this last visit! The clinic is clean, the staff is friendly, and I never have had to wait very long.

I have been taking my dog here for almost a year now and they are wonderful! The staff and the veterinarians are all friendly and compassionate. My puppy had 2 sets of shots and needed the 3rd set, so we did not take her outside and she still got Parvo (from our shoes I am sure). I called and spoke to Dr Kennedy and he said sure bring her on in. She was very dehydrated and wouldn't eat or drink for 2 days. Within 3 days of fluids, antibiotics and care my baby girl was almost back to her old self! The staff and vets here saved her life and no amount of money could ever repay what I owe them. Dr Kennedy is a very sweet, and understanding doctor. Wonderful! Doctor White is the same. I have had my puppy in the office since then and Dr White does not insist on a bunch of unnecessary test to care for my dog. The office waiting area and rooms are clean and bright. They always handle my baby girl with care. I will never take my dog anywhere else!I

My 16 yr. old dog recently passed away & I attribute his long life to the excellent care he received from these 3 excellent vets & their staff. Their groomer is wonderful and I would not take him anywhere else! In the last couple of years, they helped ME work through my emotions that he was in really bad shape. It was hard for me to let him go. They did not run up their fees either! They use a common sense approach to vet care. They use old-fashioned common sense. If you can't let go, they will be glad to do everything they can to save your pet. However, if you don't have the money to spend thousands of dollars, they will work with you into making rational decisions regarding the care of your pet. They have taken care of my other pets in the past. My elderly cat with cat HIV almost died & they removed all his teeth & he lived for another 5 years! He lived many years with kitty HIV - a lot longer than anyone thought he a cat would live with HIV. I have found several injured stray cats & they have never turned me away when I bring them in. These men are so loving & compassionate to injured animals. They care more about the hurt & dying animal then getting paid. I know that they get ""dumped"" with unwanted kittens and injured animals. If you want a kitten PLEASE go by and adopt from them!

They know our dogs by name and treat them superbly!!!! As far as the above review...perhaps it was a MUST that your dogs tooth was pulled....and perhaps your dog felt much better when it was done! They are doctors, afterall! Thumbs up to Dr. Copeland, Dr. Kenndy and Dr. White and the entire staff!!!

Understanding that your pet may be one of the most loved members of your family, the doctors and staff of Bellaire-Richmond are the folks you need to help you make all the right decisions. Quotes from them:"God puts animals on this earth and someone needs to care for them. Why not you?" This was said to me after having to put down one of my cats of many years. I had asked, why do I put myself through this as it hurts so bad. In the end, after hearing these kind words, I snapped to the reality that you will most likely have to put down all your pets. God did not give them the life span that he gives us. So, why don't I just take care of all the little precious four legged creatures I can, while they are here on earth, and do God a favor. Plus, it's a great reward in all the love they give my family in return.I also heard: "She (my beloved dog) has trusted you to make the right decision all her life. Don't let her down now when she is ready to go." - This taught me I can not be selfish. I must do what is right for my dog, and love her to the end by letting her go.All three doctors are down to earth, caring, exceptional and reasonable, in professional care. The staff is like family. A great place to partner with you in the care of your four legged friends. - They have cared for our family of animals for over 35 yrs. We have had wonderful, long healthy lifetimes with each and every animal thanks to Bellaire-Richmond Pet Hospital and their staff.

Dr. Perry and vet techs Chris and Noe were so patient and careful with my lil chihuahua today. They took their time to do tests and explain the results. What stood out to me was how they handled and talked to my baby. They made sure to keep her as calm and comfortable as possible. Great staff that provides great service every time.

I have been taking my dog here for almost a year now and they are wonderful! The staff and the veterinarians are all friendly and compassionate. My puppy had 2 sets of shots and needed the 3rd set, so we did not take her outside and she still got Parvo (from our shoes I am sure). I called and spoke to Dr Kennedy and he said sure bring her on in. She was very dehydrated and wouldn't eat or drink for 2 days. Within 3 days of fluids, antibiotics and care my baby girl was almost back to her old self! The staff and vets here saved her life and no amount of money could ever repay what I owe them. Dr Kennedy is a very sweet, and understanding doctor. Wonderful! Doctor White is the same. I have had my puppy in the office since then and Dr White does not insist on a bunch of unnecessary test to care for my dog. The office waiting area and rooms are clean and bright. They always handle my baby girl with care. I will never take my dog anywhere else!I

I brought my dog in to get neutered and left in tears due to the monster at the front desk's insults and belittling. The doctors are great, but the desk staff is just not worth putting up with.

My 16 yr. old dog recently passed away & I attribute his long life to the excellent care he received from these 3 excellent vets & their staff. Their groomer is wonderful and I would not take him anywhere else! In the last couple of years, they helped ME work through my emotions that he was in really bad shape. It was hard for me to let him go. They did not run up their fees either! They use a common sense approach to vet care. They use old-fashioned common sense. If you can't let go, they will be glad to do everything they can to save your pet. However, if you don't have the money to spend thousands of dollars, they will work with you into making rational decisions regarding the care of your pet. They have taken care of my other pets in the past. My elderly cat with cat HIV almost died & they removed all his teeth & he lived for another 5 years! He lived many years with kitty HIV - a lot longer than anyone thought he a cat would live with HIV. I have found several injured stray cats & they have never turned me away when I bring them in. These men are so loving & compassionate to injured animals. They care more about the hurt & dying animal then getting paid. I know that they get ""dumped"" with unwanted kittens and injured animals. If you want a kitten PLEASE go by and adopt from them!

They know our dogs by name and treat them superbly!!!! As far as the above review...perhaps it was a MUST that your dogs tooth was pulled....and perhaps your dog felt much better when it was done! They are doctors, afterall! Thumbs up to Dr. Copeland, Dr. Kenndy and Dr. White and the entire staff!!!

They pull your dog's teeth during a cleaning w/out even asking you. You show up with a huge bill and a toothless dog. Don't get your teeth pulled by them. Go somewhere else.

Understanding that your pet may be one of the most loved members of your family, the doctors and staff of Bellaire-Richmond are the folks you need to help you make all the right decisions. Quotes from them:"God puts animals on this earth and someone needs to care for them. Why not you?" This was said to me after having to put down one of my cats of many years. I had asked, why do I put myself through this as it hurts so bad. In the end, after hearing these kind words, I snapped to the reality that you will most likely have to put down all your pets. God did not give them the life span that he gives us. So, why don't I just take care of all the little precious four legged creatures I can, while they are here on earth, and do God a favor. Plus, it's a great reward in all the love they give my family in return.I also heard: "She (my beloved dog) has trusted you to make the right decision all her life. Don't let her down now when she is ready to go." - This taught me I can not be selfish. I must do what is right for my dog, and love her to the end by letting her go.All three doctors are down to earth, caring, exceptional and reasonable, in professional care. The staff is like family. A great place to partner with you in the care of your four legged friends. - They have cared for our family of animals for over 35 yrs. We have had wonderful, long healthy lifetimes with each and every animal thanks to Bellaire-Richmond Pet Hospital and their staff.

i've never been to a veterinarian who was exceptional. these people and this office are very nice. they are understanding, professional and kind.
