I took in my Syrian hamster to see Dr. Looper and I’m so happy with how I was treated. No other vets in my area would even take hamsters but Dr. Amelia was very kind and trustworthy. The staff were also very polite and I just appreciated that someone helped my ham. Strongly recommend this vet to anyone!

The staff here has been easy to get a hold of on the phone and the vet returns calls quickly. When I call if my cat is seriously sick they have always found a way to fit me in for an appointment. They are very up front about prices before they do anything beyond the basic visit. The vets I have seen here never seemed rushed and take the time to explain options in treatment from all angles from expectations, process right down to the cost. Every time I have come for an appointment, they seem to be running on time and there is very little waiting.

So this place deleted my previous review!!! Wow. Well I'm going to post again. NEVER EVER bring your pet to this clinic!! My Pomeranian of 13 years had to be put asleep and instead of the veterinarian calmly tell me this, she delivers this horrible news with a LAUGH!!!!! For a doctor who supposedly "loves" animals, how can you deliver news of death of one's pet with a laugh??!?!?! It was sickening!! I will never bring another pet to this place!!

Dr. Sartor and his staff and top notch. They are kind, compassionate and professional. I have used them for 10+ years and they have always treated myself and my animals like family. The clinic itself is a clean and welcoming environment. Doc's wife Lisa always has a bright, welcoming smile for her clients, and makes sure all their needs are met before heading into their appointment, which is always on time. They understand the clients time is valuable, and I appreciate that. I highly recommend Champions Forest Animal Clinic!

We have recently moved and even though we have closer vet clinics, we still travel to Dr. Sarter because we trust him and his staff and they provide excellent care for our animals. Thank you!

Awesome people! I recently saved a pup from the needle at a local shelter but, unfortunately, she had developed an infection at her surgery site from being spayed at the shelter. Dr. Wells cleaned out the wound and placed a drain to reduce chance of continued infection. My little Princess is doing really well with her antibiotics and is not letting the "cone of shame" get in her way Their team has earned my trust!

We took our little yorkie, Tyson, for his annual, a dental with 6 extractions of retained teeth, and a neuter. Dr Johnson was wonderful, as was the staff. They thoroughly explained everything and we were set at ease. Dr Johnson even called us as they were getting started with him and once again as they were finishing, knowing how anxious we had initially been at leaving our sweet baby boy. This was our first experience with Dr Johnson (as we typically see Dr Sartor) and we definitely recommend her and Champions Forest Animal Clinic to anyone in need of veterinary services. We drive from the Galleria to have our fur babies cared for by this great group of people (I previously drove from Clear Lake). Thank you to such an amazing place! :)

Took my corgis here and we are still pretty new to this clinic but after a few visits, I can say that the staff and doctors are very friendly and made me feel very welcomed/comfortable. I didn't feel like I was being talked down to and everyone showed sincere concern and interest in our dogs. I would definitely recommend this clinic!

Initially when I went it was a fairly pleasant experience, which is what promoted me to go in today. My dog developed a UTI and I thought why not take her back to this clinic because my initial reception was warm and the staff was kind.
Today I called ahead to inform the staff I would be bringing my dog in. Upon arrival, the front desk lady begins to lecture me about not having an appointment and it being 5:00pm. Informed her although I did not have a scheduled appointment, but extended the courtesy of calling an hour beforehand. She proceeded to lecture me on how the doctors were busy seeing others who "had appointments" and if I stayed then I'd just have to wait. At this point, I said "No problem I can take her somewhere else if walk-ins are not accepted." She proceeds to lecture me and says "Aww, don't get mad. You can stay but you will have to wait."
Please keep in mind, I'm well aware it's common to wait as a "walk-in." I chose to leave because I found her approach to be unprofessional. This conversation was unnecessary and shouldn't be conducted in a lobby. I was embarrassed and most of all disappointed!
I declined to use their services because she came across as if she were more concerned herself than my dog who clearly needed to be treated for and emergency. She did a lot of talking and very little listening. For her to make a polarized statement and patronize a customer she doesn't know by saying "Awwwh don't get mad," is UNACCEPATABLE!
I didn't feel welcomed. I felt lectured and judged for walking in a clinic at 5:00pm.
I chose to bow out gracefully and not use their services, which is unfortunate because I liked the doctor who treated my dog the first time. However, any front desk person who would lecture a customer in the lobby and reprimand me for being a walk in, may not have my dog's best interest at heart.

I have been going to Dr. Sartor's clinic since first (luckily!) finding him in 2006 when I moved to Houston from Michigan. There is absolutely NO one I trust with my girls with besides Dr. Sartor and his staff. They are absolutely the best people I have ever found to take care of my fur kids. They mean everything to me and I demand the best care for them. I found that in Dr. Sartor. Everyone there are very kind, loving, compassionate, understanding, friendly and sweet to both me and my fur kids. I judge a vet by the way they treat my animals...and no one treats animals better than Dr. Sartor and his staff. My girls go in for everything from nail trims to surgeries to boarding and routine exams. I have complete confidence in Dr. Sartor and am at ease knowing my fur kids are always getting the BEST of care.

Really happy with the decision I made by going to Champions Forest Animal Clinic. I really value my time, so when I called my last veterinarian and asked to make an appointment, they simply said "we don't work by appointments. Just come in and wait. I'm not sure how long it will take to get to you"
It was the complete opposite with CFAC. I called them, they got my information, they booked me in their schedule, and bam. I was ready to roll.
On my appointment day (which was set for 8:00am), I got there at 7:55am and was in the room with the tech by 8:00am.
Super friendly, nice, and answered all my questions that I had. Definitely recommend their service!

Love this clinic. Everyone is incredibly polite and helpful. Dr. Headlee is simply fantastic! After one of our fur babies was sedated for a dental cleaning, she called to check on her later that day. I loved that I got a card in the mail welcoming us to Texas and the clinic from the entire staff and another one from Dr. Headlee! I even met one of the owners who offered help with finding new professionals for our entire household to use (doctors, emergency clinics, etc) as we just moved to Houston. Felt extremely appreciated and that they really cared about our babies!

Champion Forest Animal Clinic is the only Veteribary Clinic I would take my aimals to. Dr. Todd, his wife Lisa, their children, and the whole staff have been there for me and my animals, even during the most extreme times such as hurricanes. I trust them completely and they treat my "fur children" as if they were their own. This is reassuring brcause I have had animals ranging from young to 16 years old. The staff or doctors always call to check up on my animals after they have been in for a visit. I have referred others to CFAC and they also have been happy customers. I believe you will be too.

They are very up front about prices before they do anything beyond the basic visit. They thoroughly explained everything and we were set at ease. I chose to bow out gracefully and not use their services, which is unfortunate because I liked the doctor who treated my dog the first time. However, any front desk person who would lecture a customer in the lobby and reprimand me for being a walk in, may not have my dog's best interest at heart.

I took my dog in after he had been bitten by another dog. All the staff was very helpful and understanding. I'll be back with my other pets for their regular checkups. Thanks!

I have been going to Dr. Sartor's clinic since first (luckily!) finding him in 2006 when I moved to Houston from Michigan. There is absolutely NO one I trust with my girls with besides Dr. Sartor and his staff. They are absolutely the best people I have ever found to take care of my fur kids. They mean everything to me and I demand the best care for them. I found that in Dr. Sartor. Everyone there are very kind, loving, compassionate, understanding, friendly and sweet to both me and my fur kids. I judge a vet by the way they treat my animals...and no one treats animals better than Dr. Sartor and his staff. My girls go in for everything from nail trims to surgeries to boarding and routine exams. I have complete confidence in Dr. Sartor and am at ease knowing my fur kids are always getting the BEST of care.

Really happy with the decision I made by going to Champions Forest Animal Clinic. I really value my time, so when I called my last veterinarian and asked to make an appointment, they simply said "we don't work by appointments. Just come in and wait. I'm not sure how long it will take to get to you"
It was the complete opposite with CFAC. I called them, they got my information, they booked me in their schedule, and bam. I was ready to roll.
On my appointment day (which was set for 8:00am), I got there at 7:55am and was in the room with the tech by 8:00am.
Super friendly, nice, and answered all my questions that I had. Definitely recommend their service!

Love this clinic. Everyone is incredibly polite and helpful. Dr. Headlee is simply fantastic! After one of our fur babies was sedated for a dental cleaning, she called to check on her later that day. I loved that I got a card in the mail welcoming us to Texas and the clinic from the entire staff and another one from Dr. Headlee! I even met one of the owners who offered help with finding new professionals for our entire household to use (doctors, emergency clinics, etc) as we just moved to Houston. Felt extremely appreciated and that they really cared about our babies!

Champion Forest Animal Clinic is the only Veteribary Clinic I would take my aimals to. Dr. Todd, his wife Lisa, their children, and the whole staff have been there for me and my animals, even during the most extreme times such as hurricanes. I trust them completely and they treat my "fur children" as if they were their own. This is reassuring brcause I have had animals ranging from young to 16 years old. The staff or doctors always call to check up on my animals after they have been in for a visit. I have referred others to CFAC and they also have been happy customers. I believe you will be too.
