Loved Dr. Natalie! she was so loving with my dog! We had to wait a while before we saw her, but she knew I waited and spent all the time I needed to answer all my questions no matter how insignificant. This was our first time at this clinic, and even though it's far from my house, I will be going back there. I also love that she speaks Spanish. Read Less

I worry about the price but thank goodness it's in our range somewhat! They helped my cat Elote when he got injured by other cats and they also recommended that we get him vaccinated for rabies since you know you have to especially if they're outdoor but Elote is both indoor and outdoor so if he gets infected then we're screwed. We've been bringing pets to this practice for healthcare and boarding for more than 20 years. Always had great experiences with them; deal well with my one-person cat, and have looked after the health of 4 dogs, from little chihuahua mixes to a 70 pound hound. If I had a thousand tongues I couldn't say enough about the people at Copperfield Animal Clinic. I was a new patient about 6 months ago and I lost my beloved cat Sheeba. I have never experienced the car, the kindness, and the Faith these guys poured into me. I was devastated over losing my best girl, but everyone, and I mean everyone...from Lauren at the front desk, to Myrna, the techs, to BOTH vets at this clinic ...they all got me through it. Honestly, I don't know how they do it. They are Angels, that is my best guess. If I ever get another pet, I will send them to this Vet in a heartbeat. I strongly urge anyone who has not visited Copperfield Animal Clinic within the past year or two to GO THERE. The new management is not only friendly and helpful, but very sensitive to their patients. The level of care and professionalism is as good as it ever was, if not more so. The biggest change is in their prices, which are now much more reasonable. In the past my only reasons for trying other vet clinics was due to this clinic being way overpriced! Family just adopted a cat and came here for her first checkup. The Doctor and her staff are so amazing, kind (to both human and animals), and have great bedside manners for the animal patient. It's been years since we adopted a cat, but she addressed all my questions & concerns, and I am hopefully set on the right path with our new family member. Facility is very clean inside and out. I was searching for a new vet as I'd had a bad experience with my old one, and lost a beloved pet without knowing if putting her down was the right decision. I chose Copperfield Animal Clinic because they were close, which would reduce stress on my cats, and the reviews indicated it was worth a try. I have been very pleased with my visits. I had an elderly cat with very bad congestion, and a young kitten with drastic loss of appetite. In both situations the veterinarian listened to me, communicated clearly what my options were, and worked with me to take great care of my pets while understanding my budget limitations. It has been a year since these initial visits and I have returned for their yearly check up. I am again happy with the service, communication, and professionalism I have experienced while there. This clinic has been a MUCH more positive experience for me than the previous clinic I used, and I feel confident that they will work with me to take great care of my furry companions throughout their lives. Thank you, Copperfield Animal Clinic, for the service you provide! My cats thank you too! EDIT: My 15 year old cat just had a tooth cleaning and tooth extraction. Explanations and estimates on the procedure were clear and the bill matched the estimate spot on. We have been taking our little Jack to Copperfield Animal Clinic for approx. 2.5 years. The friendly staff and Dr. Goldberger take very good care of our dog. They also offer pet boarding which has been very helpful to us when we need to leave town. They also send out friendly reminders when your pet is due for shots or for a checkup. I am at the clinic now with my Aussie - service has been nothing short of amazing!! Had X-rays taken and vet explained all that she saw going on. We have a bacterial infection in the lungs. I thought she chewed something and it was loged in stomach. Not the case. So impressed with this place. Was referred by my vet who can not do X-rays . So glad I came here! Staff was first class. Luis has horrible customer service. Went in yesterday. Was given a $500 estimate. Went back next day to get some of the work done. That's where Luis came in and said a totally different diagnosis. I said how is it different than yesterday. He leaves and slams door in my face. Good job Luis.Read Less

Waited forever....wasn't dr. Goldberg that saw my dog...forget the doctors name largely bc I couldn't understand her ...English wasn't good. Clean office is only positive. The vet exam was no more than the way I examine my dog....she looked in her ears, said her teeth, skin and coat looked good...I took her in for a possible UTI and they didn't do anything but charge me $35 for office visit and $60 for antibiotics...had I not questioned if there was a less expensive antibiotic they would of charged me $130 for them....they also tried prescribing rimadyl for pain....which was also another $40...not to mention vaccinations that they said my dog needed, which she does, but I said no only because I can get them elsewhere for 1/2 the price....never going back!! We love this vet clinic. The location is great, the prices are very affordable, and it is really easy to get an appointment. The staff is super friendly and we absolutely LOVE Dr. Goldberger. This place is overpriced when compared to other vet clinics in the area. I took my dog in for vaccinations and a checkup. The vet didn't even complete the checkup in front of me, she claimed that she checked him in the back when he was getting vaccinated. She indicated that "he looks good" yet she didn't inquire about his skin tag that vets have always questioned me about in that past nor did she mention his gingivitis. I highly doubt she completed an exam in which I was charged $30.00. Read Less

This is the most caring veterinary and professional you could find anywhere in the world. They are compassionate, educated and focused on the care of our loved companions. I used to love them... I have to say there are two vets, that by my experience, are wonderful here.. Dr. Potter is my #1 star (love her!) and Dr. Zeisloft (she was very professional and wonderful with my dog), I reccommend her as well, hence, the two stars. Unfortunately, I'm fustrated with them for a number of reasons, not related to the vets, but more with their policies that bring the whole quality of this place down.. 1. They are super expensive- never walked out spending less than $300, for regular visits and that's only when she's well.2. They only give you paper prescriptions rather than approve a simple fax when you buy medicine online. Let me tell you, don't ever let them sell you medicine, you'll pay triple!!! So you get stuck mailing the prescription which takes easily 3 extra weeks to get the medicine... Good thing my pup isn't dying!! - Very frustrating and lazy on their part (the receptionist). - This is the deal breaker for me!3. I went to another vet another time and they didn't want to cooperate sending my dogs history information... again, very unprofessional.I guess the big issue is more the receptionist and policies, they are too tough when we as customers are paying for a service... they don't want to ease or be helpful. They used to be great, not anymore. Not going back. You'll get a good vet, and a handfull of bills and complications. Read Less

I can't even believe what happened to us at the Copperfield animal clinic! Our dog got very sick and was having major issues so I went to Longenbaugh clinic and they were full- SO they recommended Copperfield animal clinic and the nightmare started!!!!!!!!!! The vet Dr. Zeisloft was the vet on duty! I dropped our dog off at 8:00 AM he was having issues keeping food down both ends. He even had some blood in his stool. I explained to the vet that our dog had been kenneled for 6 days and in the same time frame we had also moved to a new house. So we weren't sure what the problem was. Dr. Zeisloft called me around 11:00 and explained that she needed to do some x-rays because his blood work came back normal and she was very concerned! Well we love our dog and since she was so concerned and PUSHY we did the x-ray. She called me again and said the X rays came out real light and needed to be retaken! I said retake them so she did and called me again saying he had something in his small intestine and needed to go over some options! (BY THE WAY THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE RETAKE OF X RAYS) She went down a list of 4 things to do 1. Do an ultra sound (which they don't have on site so they would have to call a tech to come out and do the procedure! 2. Antibiotic treatment 3. Barium and then more x rays or a scope down the throat! Then he would most likely need surgery to remove the blurred image that showed up in the X ray the Surgery was going to cost 1200.00 and then he would need to go to a 24 hour vet at an additional cost!!!!!!!!!!!! I was already 375.00 in the hole and all the above treatments were going to be 400.00 or more. I told here I need to call my husband and go over these options. In the mean time my coworker said her dog had surgery last year to have an object removed from his bladder and the diagnosis with the surgery was a total of 400.00 and she just loves her vet. She recommended that I call Fairbanks animal clinic and see if they can help me. They said since it was after 6:00 pm I would have to pay a 45.00 fee and I was fine with that. My husband went to pick up our dog at Copperfield and asked for the x rays and blood work results AND DR. ZEISLOFT REFUSED TO RELEASE THEM TO US! The VET was very mad that we were going to take our dog somewhere else and that we were only making more cost accrue! She said she would drop off the x rays herself. I told my husband to get our dog out of that place and meet me at FAIRBANKS ANIMAL CLINIC! He got there at 7:00 PM and with in 10 minutes Dr. Glen had checked our dog’s fecal matter, did an exam and as soon as the x rays got there he reviewed them. He diagnosed him with a bacteria infection and explained to us that it’s real common in dogs when they get kenneled. When he looked at the x ray he said it was just in infection and he was very gassy. He gave him 2 shots and 2 prescriptions and our total cost along with the after hours fee was 175.00. Our dog is doing much better and he's back to his old ways! I just can't believe she wanted to cut my dog open for surgery. I WILL ALWAYS GO BACK TO FAIRBANKS ANIMAL CLINIC! THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEGABLE AND LOVE ANIMALS. EVERYONE THERE WAS SO FRIENDLY AND KIND. Read Less

The staff at this clinic were extremely rude and inattentive. The younger vet was very pretentious and unhelpful. At first glance the clinic seems to be good but the vets overcharge way too much for the quality of service and attention that they give. I would recommend choosing another clinic in the area over this one. Read Less
