Dr. Jackie Marshall is very experienced, knowledgeable, and truly committed to her profession as a vet. Moreover, Dr. Marshall has a rare gift for treating animals with the right mix of compassion and sensible care to make animals feel as secure as possible which has been demonstrated by her care of our cat Gabby. Her staff is well prepared and fully committed to ensuring the best care for incoming pets. Our beloved senior cat Gabby has had her first few visits with Dr. Marshall within the last couple of weeks. Within a short time it's been quite a journey as Gabby had been battling fleas and also contracted pneumonia. Dr. Marshall managed to make Gabby as comfortable as humanly possible during the appointments, treating Gabby like a family member and simultaneously doing her best to comfort us as Gabby's very worried pet mommies too. Dr. Marshall provided the information, treatment, and also advice for other procedural care at a local emergency clinic throughout these harrowing weeks. Her staff has been courteous, helpful, and attentive as well as we have had more appointments to ensure Gabby's recovery. We appreciate the dedication and sincere interest in the health of our senior pet. We appreciate the approach Dr. Marshall takes during an appointment with her staff to put our cat in a relaxed environment and make the cat feel like she has not lost all control, important for the feline personality. Dr. Marshall provides thorough details about any treatments, tests, etc. and listens actively and effectively to determine how we as owners want to proceed. We are given all of the facts and advice based on this vet's vast experience. Dr. Marshall and her staff are personable, approachable, and invested in providing quality care for pets like they are each one of their own. We are very glad that Gabby will have this quality of care in her senior years. This place is more expensive than other clinics around the area. Also, they charge more for your exam if your animal is sick. And if you need to bring in two animals, the fee will be for both animals, which is unusual among other nearby clinics. Read Less

Dr Marshall has been my veterinarian for 25 years!! The best from the first visit to the most recent one- she makes you feel like you are her only customer, always very thorough and available for consultation or visit for an emergency situation. Our dogs absolutely love going to Kleinbrook! Dr. Marshall and her staff truly treat their patients like their own pets. When my dogs have appointments, I feel completely informed and know what's going on because I am able to be in the room during the whole appointment. They are very knowledgable about their products and always offer samples. During boarding, you can call in to check on your pet and receive a report card at the end. We love Kleinbrook. The staff and the doctor is amazing! Everyone is sweet and kind and the doctor really takes time to make sure your pet completely taken care of. You can truly tell, everyone from the doctor to the staff loves what they do and it shines through with excellent customer service. I have three dogs and a new litter of puppies (frenchies).  This was the first place that responded to my email.  They ended up being very close to my house.  The manager was concise in her email and answered all my subsequent questions, Destiny that answered the phone and made the appointment was polite and friendly and even asked the puppies names (a litter on the books usually goes by the last name anot the puppies names).  There was a sign when we got there welcoming the puppies by name!  We met most of the staff and all were professional,  friendly and loving towards the puppies.  Dr. Marshall was very upfront, explained things in detail on the eye issue and answered all of our questions.  She loved on the puppies as well during her exam and while she could have given them a shot at six weeks and taken more money (their pricing is very fair), she said they were, in her opinion too young for a few weeks and went on to say why since most have shots at 6 weeks.  She loves what she does and knows her stuff and shares with you rather than just diagnose.  She went thru all options and gave referral for two eye places.  I disagree on the guilting you on not bending over backwards.  One of my dogs has a growth and I am bringing him in next.  I told her I wanted it removed but did NOT want to send it for analysis just have it removed.  I explained I won't do chemo and things for my dogs and she has absolutely no issue with that.  You all keep doing what you do so well.  I will be in with my other furbabies.Deb Read Less

The staff of Kleinbrook is simply amazing. Dr. Marshall and her assistants have taken great care of all three of my fur babies over the last 14 years. When I lost my Chester, they called to check on us and let me know that they would miss him but they were there if I needed to talk. That's special and the very reason why I will never let another vet care for my babies if I can help it. Kudos! Read Less

Lady at front desk is very condescending and difficult to work with. We simply tried to schedule a flea shot but the lady made it impossible. The vet is awesome but this other lady is just something else. Read Less

Kleinbrook Animal Hospital is staffed by professionals who clearly have a passion for animals, and Dr. Marshall is amazingly knowledgeable from my point of view. Animals are clearly very important to the staff here. Kudos.On the other hand, they tend to guilt trip you if you aren't bending backwards for your pet. One animal I brought in was a stray Doberman mix that was mangy, half bald and clearly undernourished. We spent over $300 (not specifically at Kleinbrook) nursing the poor animal back to health. He's a great pet now. But on subsequent times bringing him in, and on my other pets, I was guilt tripped about heart medicine, neutering, not socializing my dog, wasn't leash trained enough, was grouchy toward new faces, etc. I obviously understand the importance of heart worm medicine, and both my dogs are on them now, but putting it off for a couple of months on my dogs who were both under a year old shouldn't be an issue for the vet.I've spent more health care dollars on my dogs than I have on my entire family over the past two years, and I'm being guilt tripped for not doing enough for my pets. I really wasn't very happy about that. I'm sure they mean well, but I think they forget the human element of a relationship between the vet and the animal's family. Read Less

Have not been there physically but have contacted them several times via email for estimates. one of the few clinics that actually send me an estimate without requiring my pet to be seen by the doc first. they were not able to get my pet in until next week because it is a one doc clinic. i ended up going somewhere else but my other dog needs to be spayed and this will more than likely be my place of choice. Our family has been coming to Kleinbrook Animal Hospital for 17 years now, and we continue to highly recommend Dr. Marshall and her staff. Primary reasons: their professional expertise and their loving compassion for our animals. Dr. Marshall is clearly particular about making sure the team she has on board is a perfect fit for care of family pets. Judy and the rest of the staff do far more than manage the phones, computers, and appointments. They have the background to be able to answer my concerns in detail even before I schedule an appointment. (And Judy Seil's "Pawfect Manners" was outstanding for training our dog). Our 9YO beagle, Billy, was just in for boarding a few weeks ago. We agreed to have his annual physical performed while he was boarding. Kleinbrook discovered he had two absessed teeth, needed extensive dental work done, and had a urinary tract infection. I am so grateful that they encourage preventive care, or we likely would have never known he needed these important matters taken care of. Dr. Marshall is a highly-skilled veterinarian, and Billy was in good hands for his dental extractions. I agree with another reviewer that they don't upsell; they do give options to forgo procedures or testing if not absolutely necessary. Dr. Marshall spent extensive time with us after Billy's surgery reviewing x-rays and discharge instructions, and Judy followed up with us at home. Our former beagle, Tipper, went to Dr. Marshall for all 12 years of her life, and the entire staff was wonderfully compassionate when we had to make the decision to put her down. We are grateful for their care for our animals, and highly recommend them for both veterinary care of your pets as well as boarding.Read Less

I am a new client. I have been here 3X. The staff do tend to talk down to you.  I think they mean well but assume you know nothing.  The place is very clean & highly organized.  My problem with them: they sold me a product without disclosing its limitations.  My Sophie had 7 kittens.   Frontline was on special.  Well guess what folks, it doesn't work.  Not only did my cat brood get really schizo & whiny, the medication took 1-2days to start working.  Cats returned to normal behavior.  4 Days later, I still see fleas!!!  Yes, our yard is treated.  I bombed the house & shampooed the carpet.  When I call, Lauren launches into her flea cycle speech.  Yeah, I know.  Yes, i did treat. Then she says, blah blah it doesn't matter THEY ARE NOT GIVING ME MY $85 back.  Call the manufacturer.  I did.  THEY SAID, it's not guaranteed for 5 animals or more.  No where on the pkg or insert is this info disclosed.  SO, I call back.  Lauren & the office manager were not aware of this. Hmmmmm. WELL THANKS for misleading your client & being ignorant of the products you sell!!!!  May as well have gone to a pet store for the same mediocre customer svc skills.  AND they still refuse to fix it.  I never had any problems with advantage.   Not sure if I will return to this animal hospital??? We love Dr. Marshall and her hospital. She and her staff are always there for our pets. She is the most knowledgeable and service oriented doctor we've worked with. She is always up to date on the latest medicine and clinical techniques for our pets. Our pets have had some of the most critical illness and she guided us and cared for our pets every step of the way. The facility is very clean. The staff are helpful and friendly. Dr. Marshall loves animals and that tenderness and kindness radiates from her when she's with your pet. You can just tell she enjoys her job and truly cares for your furry friend. She's the only vet at Kleinbrook so there's no shuffling between different doctors who aren't familiar with your pet. She always suggests the most cost-efficient options, and she's upfront about what is necessary and what is not. There's no upselling nonsense. The office is clean; there's no animal smell which some vets will have lingering; they're fully equipped with all the medical gadgets and raise-able tables for elder/large pets, the staff is friendly and willing to answer any and all questions from neurotic doggy mamas like me, and there's a private parking lot.If you love your pet and want the best in healthcare for them, take them to see Dr. Marshall.OH--and there's a $45 off coupon on their website for new patients. it's awesome. I took my shih tzu to Kleinbrook Animal Hosp for routine vaccinations, but was heartbroken when I was told that he needed to have immediate surgery on his hernia. I was reassured that everything would be fine and it was. Dr. Marshall is great. She is a very sincere and kind hearted veterinarian. Also, Not only are the prices very reasonable, they also have payment plans. I have no desire to go to another facility. Love this place!! Read Less
